Sauga's First WW Indoor Grow, LED Style

With so many variables to growing it’s always a good idea to keep an open mind and take all options into consideration and improve the areas we can to give our plants and our efforts the best chance of success.

OK swapped out the garden ties for pipe cleaners. Sooo much better! I'll do the Quadline girls tomorrow.

Wow, great minds think alike. Been crazy busy with cutting hay, so this is the first chance to check in with your thread MrSauga. I have been using pipe cleaners and shiskabobs since the late 70's. Sweet! :goodjob::thumb::bravo::welldone:

MrMagoo I almost forgot. This is another one of my old outdoor hippie tie down tricks. Electric fence wire, 18-16 gauge. Cheap but thick enough to never cut the girls.
Cut to any length and push into the ground. I always washed with alcohol before using the first time. Plus it's reusable.

The skewers came to me at the last minute. We were having bobbies and it was like a like went off over my head. Pretty simple and sturdy. Thanks John.

Interesting idea on the skewers. I'd maybe tape the part of the skewers that touch on the outside to ensure the plants don't pull them out but that's a good way to do it. I personally like the garden stakes so I can adjust them up and down as needed but these will do the trick. Also make sure to let them grow vertical a bit before pulling them into the X. You want to be able to get under it to water it easily and I've had issues before by training early and not letting the plant get a little growth to it.

good idea on the tape. I didn't have the garden stakes and I would always forget them when I was at the store.

Oh, I just played with them a bit more, then came here. OK so I'll remove the ticklers for now and let them grow up a bit.

And here's an update pic on my problem child. Things don't seem to be getting worse and in fact some of the greens look more vibrant today, almost happier if that makes sense.

They are looking outstanding MrSauga!! Gotta love the happy ladies!
I'm french tickled pink on the way they are turning out. Thanks Magoo!

Those are not French tickles are they...lol
They have to be very similar, because when I open the tent door, the pots move from the back to the front anticipating the arrival of more ticklers. Fascinating to watch really.
Damn that Sativa is good tonight.

First 2 pics - I'm thinking I need to start pulling the fourth down a bit now, and let some light in. They are about 6 inches above the soil to the third.
The other pics are are there because, well let's face it they just love to be in the spotlight, and I wanted to see what the pics looked like with the LED glasses in front of the camera lens. Turns out it's not such a good idea.

You can also bend them with your fingers by pushing down on them gently. That'll make them slow down a tad to recuperate and expose the bottom node to light. Soon they will be taking off in growth.

I remember when mine were looking like that MrSauga. I kept thinking....surely I need to do something...but I waited for input from the quadsquad. Lol. And I’m 100% sure that was the best thing to do! It was an exercise in restraint and patience. Would they have been fine if I jumped right in there....probably. But I would say that waiting before doing too much training or before first defol allowed them to bounce back very quickly.

Another quadsquadder giving great advice! I love it. Patience is a growers greatest virtue. Good stuff Magoo.
