Royale Haze Soil 150w HPS Closet Grow

I plan on taking my girl down either Sunday or next Monday. So I guess now would be a good time to remove the leaves? I am confused as to if I should at this point because the only gain I can see is light getting to the smaller buds. I can see that I am going to have a fair amount of popcorn....

I have heard the term lollipop several times can you please give a detailed explanation? Maybe even some pictures, I am a visual learner.

If I get this right by the picture, I would take all the leaves off that are not where the buds are... am I correct? I may just do it if that is the case.

NAHHHHH bro.

IMHO you should leave the leaves on, I like to leave the levi for some leafy green leaf in my lavority.

Ok I got no idea what that was all about. But the point is leave the leaves on till you harvest. Pulling a bunch of good leaves is just gonna stress her, even if its a small bit (but removing that much could be a lot of stress). Plus all those leaves give them plant energy to make bigger buds.

Hopefully you started to flush already? if not better start now :D.

jimmy got it:)

Lolly popping is something you do before ya start flowering or in the first few weeks.

Its not something you do on the last week.

Actually defoliating them (removing the leaves) will only make them easier to trim at this late date.:high-five:

Started the flush 2 Sundays ago. I was definitely on to the flushing on time :)

I was showing him what a lolly pop looks like:)
and you are right about when to do it. thats when I did mine right after start of flower.
I also have to agree with OMM tho :)

Well I am kid free at the moment and with it being the last week I doubt it will hurt. I took some pics earlier of the girl. I will take some after I get rid of some trim. Should I get rid of most all of the nonbud leaves if I am going to do this?

Well it certainly would make it easier to trim when ya harvest. But thats only because you already did some trimming lol.

Personally I would leave the leaves on until ya harvest, then take off the biggest ones, then let it hang dry, then clip off the rest and jar it.

Or harvest then completely trim down to the buds, then dry it, then cure it.

As for flushing sounds good. just slightly over 2 weeks should provide nice cleanness.

Me Imma flush when I think my plants are about 2 weeks away. If I am wrong either way by a week I will be fine and end up with a 1-3 week flush overall. Pretty much ill start flushing stuff at 6 or 7 weeks depending on strain :).

I disagree, I lollipopped all of my plants one week before harvest, and my buds did nothing but grow, helps with flushing too, less places for nutes to stay stored, everyone has their own preference. Ask some of the more experienced growers for their opinions, I see fish lollipopped his in those photos

well you have a difference of opinions so flip a coin bro. either way you made it trough the hard part.. well maybe!:)

Hi ho Hi HO! A trimming Tactical will go! Pictures will be up in a few minutes. A lot of popcorn and some nice buds as well.

maybe you can leave some of the lower stuff to grow a little longer:) put your scope on those and see if they could use a little more time:)

Pretty much either way you will be allright :).

But yeah what fishy said about the lower buds. Often those can go another few days maybe even up to a week.
