Rifleman's Roost Open 24/7: Perpetually Perplexed

WOW!!!!

Amazing pull Luke. :high-five: I'm still planning on moving to NOLA, although I did pause....... :laughtwo: I'll be interested in seeing how the Remo girls stand against the AN. The initial showing is more than hopeful. :yahoo: Glad you can make use of the product. I have the Grow Better line that I'll be using for my next hempy. I'm hoping it has the same effect. Bigger plants are the goal.

Had to hit you with the rep handle for that. Well done. Very well done. :hugs:

I let my girls grow natural until bloom, and then I just thin the leaves a bit for better light penetration. Lazy Grower Style. :)

Way to go Rifle! I believe you have just coined the term for yet another method...LGS! :high-five:

Peace, Hyena

No training and no clones. Everything I grow comes from seed and I'm too lazy to do any lst, topping, fim, etc. I let my girls grow natural until bloom, and then I just thin the leaves a bit for better light penetration. Lazy Grower Style. :)

It will take another side by side grow...or two...before I can claim Remo grows a nicer plant. But it is definitely much cleaner than AN. The last time I was in the local grow store the owner was showing me fabric bags they grow in. The AN bag was crusted with salts after only one grow, the other bags were no where near as nasty.

This is the first time I've run AN at more than 50% recommended... and the last. Heavy gloves, scalding water, and elbow grease is how I'm cleaning my buckets now, but a paint scraper isn't out of the question if it gets any worse.

Congrats on the epic haul bud:bravo:

Any difference in taste and texture to the remo buds or too early to tell there? Based on you description of the salt built up with AN I think that's what my aeroponics system was used with before I bought it as it was well crusty but after a run with ionic a quick shower and a wipe with a scrubby puff should sort it right out.

Thank you Sue. :) Just from what I've seen so far I will be changing over most likely. The Remo nutrients made cleaning so much easier, there are less products to play with, and with my discount at the store they are comparable in price too. Thanks again. :circle-of-love:

I had a nickname in the military... Sham Master. Simply meant I was lazy and had the ability to disappear or be previously busy when work showed up. :biglaugh: I suppose if there is one thing I've been successful at in my life, it's being lazy and finding an easier way. ;)

Too early Kush, no harvest of them yet. Very hot water and a Mr Clean scrubbing pad works well getting rid of the AN residue.

So it appears I missed logging yesterday's measurements. Oh well, it's just to show the readers that AN and Remo will work without adjusting pH... but... :biglaugh: My OCD won't let me not put them down for you, so here are yesterday's and today's.

It should make for an easy comparison. :)

Impressive growth Luke. Mine never take off quite the same way.

First post on page 100. Congratulations Susan. :)

Lead, follow, or get out of the way, and at all times act like you know exactly what's going to occur and that you're in charge. Military mindset 101. Confidence carries the day. ;)

One day I'll lure you into the dark arts of dwc. You have to be willing to cast spells and read chicken bones, have 60 day plants go 100 days, and most importantly, embrace the waterhead ways. :biglaugh: Whew, too many brownies this morning. Look Squirrel !

Day 36 and the Auto Jedi Kush have decided to join the party. They grew more last night than any other yet, but the DC haven't slowed down so there is still a difference of around 12 inches.

I was a little bored when I was poking around this morning and got a wild hair. I found a ziploc with dda pollen and couldn't help myself. ;) A q-tip and a few minutes later and all 4 girls got a bud brushed with a bit of the pollen. I'm not sure if the pollen is still viable but I couldn't come up with a reason not to try it.

Continuing on the data trail I'll drop this here. Too many journals to try and catch up with today. :)

Everything lookin great in here buddy. Keep em comin!:volcano-smiley:

When I said JK1 had finally arrived to the party I didn't expect three nights of two plus inch growth spurts. :) Stretch is around 17 days now so I suspect upward growth will stop soon. I hope so anyways. My light is getting toward the top of its limits.... again. First world problems, I know. ;)

Geez Luke, they grow like mad for you. :thedoubletake: Do you perform some type of magic when we're not looking?

Awesome girls. Great names too. Would love to try some devils tit beans just for the name sake lol

Looking good Rifle. Great job.
Cheers.

Thanks y'all. :ciao: Bloom nutrient regimen coming up next water change. Two different brands of nutrients, two plants each of two different strains. Too many twos to keep up too.:rofl::rofl: But it sounds like a chance to test nutrients side by side. :hmmmm:

Awww shucks Susan. :bigblush: I could tell you the secret, but then I'd have to... Well, you know the saying. :shhh: :biglaugh:

Things are looking magnificent, as usual with your grows. And if I'm reading your numbers correctly the pH has been a tad bit high for hydro yet all looks well. Gotta love those chelates nutrients.

You're reading them the same as I'm taking them Hemi. :) pH is higher than an eagle's WhoHaw. I see so many folks in the faq and hydro forums who struggle with AN, pH, and dwc in general. I wanted documentation to help them. If this doesn't convince them to mix it, leave it, then replace it, nothing ever will.

So I'll say it again...I am not adjusting pH. <~~~bold because people don't read, they just look at photos. ;)

I honestly thought that JK1 was going to remain the runt of this grow but she has really found her feet. Short Stuff Seeds said they would grow 20 to 36 inches. If they can keep up this growth for another couple of days both of them will exceed expectations. :)

He's right. He convinced me to stop messing with ph. Definitely made my life easier. Today is res change day and ph is lower than after the last change. No clue what that means but it's not near 7 so I'm good. AN says their are absorbable up to a ph of 8

Lucas, you will never find me doubting a man with a Winchester. It's great data you are collecting here. Hopefully some people will listen and learn or try it themselves.
