Rifleman's Roost Open 24/7: Perpetually Perplexed

Thanks SF, I did final jarring of the second and third phase of harvest at the same time, 256g. That gives a total of 440g for the AL. A nice haul but short of my goal of 450. Next time I'll avoid taking samples before harvest. :) It was a fun experiment but I could have done it in much less time running four autos under the light vs the one big plant.

Four autos? Or maybe just one if it's a Candy Kush....I reckon you'd do really well with that one too and it's a good couchlock:passitleft:

Four buckets, four autos. Mid-October will see all four buckets AND the tote in action with multiple plants. I think I can put three maybe four in the tote by cutting a new lid for it. I've got so many strains I can't decide what to plant next time. I'll be looking for input when the time comes. Sweet Seeds, Mephisto, Fast Buds, RQS, Barneys, Dutch Passion....I know. One of each ! <evil laugh>

Day 67 in a shotglass with 17w led. I'm going for the "Tiny Harvest" Record. :biglaugh:

Did u flipped her to 12 hours yet or was she an auto? I can't remember now it's been growing so long. Maybe you have a whole new method of gourmet growing, tiny buds grown in a SOSG, sea of shot glasses.

I had to go back and look for myself Hemi. :biglaugh: She is one of my own, and Sweet & Sour Devil's Crack Auto.

Awesome girls you've got there rifleman

Thanks Noob. :cheesygrinsmiley: I haven't been journaling like I should but I hope to make up for it some tonight. Who knew going to court would take up so much of one's time? :biglaugh: Tonight I offer up the bucket twins on day 80. Take me down to foxtail city where the grass is green and purple. All photos are linked to larger versions. Peace everyone. :peace:

Looking great big guy!

Take some time to smell them and appreciate the scene for a little bit. It's always nice to gain perspective on life.

Take it easy out there, Rifle. I know life's gonna get busy every now and again but pace yourself and take it at your speed. I always find that helps to elevate the need for more hours in a day.

I wish nothing but the best for you and I'm thinkin about you!

Keep well!

:high-five: :passitleft:

Much love Pigeons. It's all good. I've got my health, most of my wealth, and my freedom. :) BTW, did you know it is illegal to alter the course of a waterway.:rofl::rofl:

Wow that's nice looking. :circle-of-love:

Thanks Jayne. They are really getting their swell on now. The bottom of the devil's crack looks like a cantaloupe of bud with a stem sticking out of the top. :biglaugh:

:surrender:Holy Smokes, I forgot about her. Looks like a tortured little soul. :biglaugh:

It's been a fun experiment. If I were to try a shotglass grow again, it would be a plastic one so I could drill drain holes and with more light than the 17w table lamp. I never would have bet on making it this far with one though so I guess I'm ahead of the game. But I knew that already. :)

If there were any doubt about being ahead in life, it disappeared last night. Let me set the scene for you.

It had rained yesterday, then stayed cloudy with a slight breeze. Finally a break from the mid nineties. So about 6 pm I tossed some old left overs off the back porch, packed the party bowl on my old dragon bong, and me and the CEO sat there quietly. Each of us enjoying the vice of our choice, watching the birds and squirrels fight over the last meal of the day. One bird feeder full of seed, six tree rats, and a multitude of doves, cardinals, blue jays, finches, etc. There was more chasing each other away than there were chowing down. :biglaugh: After a few hours, a couple of bowls, and more than a few cans of garbage water for the CEO, we were getting ready to go inside when the coons showed up. This in itself is not uncommon. We have all kinds of wildlife from deer down to chipmunks. Trash Pandas are nightly visitors. They make a quick pass by the feeder, run over to check for left overs, then scoot towards their next rendezvous. But last night was special. It was the first time the babies were out that we've seen. Momma coon ran straight to the food and hogged all she could while three babies rolled around and played in the grass. Thirty minutes later they were still there. Mom digging up my back yard for grubs, and the kids acting like hellions chasing each other up and down my stacks of fire wood like giant tree rats.

It was such a peaceful event that all the days tension, stress, and hate just melted. Best nights sleep in weeks. :) I've been out here on the porch since before sun up, hoping for a repeat. So far it's just the mourning doves cooing, one cow off in the distance, and Roscoe...farting loudly.

Life Is Good...even if a little smelly. I hope y'all have it equally as entertaining and peaceful wherever you're located. From the deep South our best to you. :Namaste:

Eighty two days effort,, well spent,, but,, y'all might need to be satisfied with respect and admiration as yer reward, cuz that aint gonna register on yer scale friend,, unless you leave er in the shotglass when ya weigh er,, ha

Persistence pays, eventually,, great job rif,, cheers

Always great when you can get one of those perfect evenings on the porch. I use to get those some evenings up alongside the river but since I switched to second shift I don't get as many of those as I use to.

Thanks nivek. :) She is just about done. Pistils have turned. I'd look at the trichomes, but there aren't any. :biglaugh: None I can see anyways. Respect and admiration are way more valuable than any harvest could be anyways, especially from my 420mag family.

Second shift was a mixed blessing for me. I didn't get to see much of the family, but was almost guaranteed quiet time on the porch. Off at 11 pm and in the rocker burning one by half past. It's the same scene, but different players. By that time the bats have replaced the birds, the opossums, fox, and skunks take over for the tree rats, and the night's song is being sung by crickets and bullfrogs.

Almost makes me want to sit outside tonight...until I remember it was still 90 deg at 9 pm last night. :phew:
