Rifleman's Roost Open 24/7: Perpetually Perplexed

Life is work. When retirement rolls around, you just get a touch more choice in the type of work.

True that. My current problem is my boss.....me! I work myself a hell of a lot harder than I would have allowed anyone else to. It's all good though. Since I quit the workforce in late 2013 I've lost and kept off sixty pounds of fat, and quit taking blood pressure and cholesterol meds. To be very honest I enjoy shoveling two tons of soil a day much more than having the proverbial shit sammich for the working man lunch. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Since it's finally raining here I'm taking today off. Gonna sit on the porch and rock away my day while staying high as a kite. There's room next to Roscoe if anyone wants to join us.

:peace:

My boss (also me) has just the opposite issue going. Got more things to do than I could shake sticks at.
I'd sure love to sit a while and give Roscoe some luv... I might smell worse than him at the moment, tho I doubt I'm bad enough to send his discriminating nose into hiding.

Don't get me wrong Tead. I've got work enough to do to keep me busy six months after I die. Many days I find it hard to do the most basic chore of just feeding myself, much less work on the honeydew list. Today appears to be one of those days. I think my ass has rooted to the chair. Here hit this and tell me if I'm lazy or just stoned...:passitleft:

I think my ass has been rooted to the chair too. I messed with the plants a little this week, harvested a few and have done pretty much nothing else. I have stayed pretty high and I know I'm lazy.

Yep....gonna get high. Hit this, pass left. :passitleft:

Love the harvest pic of AL, that is an impressive harvest number for sure!

Thanks SF, I did final jarring of the second and third phase of harvest at the same time, 256g. That gives a total of 440g for the AL. A nice haul but short of my goal of 450. Next time I'll avoid taking samples before harvest. :) It was a fun experiment but I could have done it in much less time running four autos under the light vs the one big plant.

Been rooted here all day. Waiting on them Memphis shippers to deliver the last parts to finish building a couple of more tack drivers. :) I might have even drifted off for a few. Everyone deserves a day of doing mostly nothing and like yesterday and tomorrow, today is my Saturday. :smokin:

I got mine back a couple of years ago. It was stolen, used in a home invasion and spent several years in the judicial system going through appeals and such. Except for the lower, it got all new parts and sits in the vault.

At least you got it back. :thumb: The only thing that stays out of the safe is my daily/bedside carry. I've got a few that I've had over 30 yrs, and one for over forty. Not to mention my Father's, Grandfather's, and Great Grandfather's rifles and shotguns. I'd be crushed if I ever lost those.

Just going to take a stab in the dark here but I am guessing you are more experienced playing the harp then the accordion.
Great harvest by the way.. and your question of am I Lazy or just stoned, is a loaded question... Your always stoned

I wish I could say I had more experience with harps OG. Unfortunately my life has been more of an accordion woodstock.

"My story? Okay. It was never easy for me. I was born a poor black child. I remember the days, sittin' on the porch with my family, singin' and dancin' down in Mississippi... "

:rofl::rofl::rofl: And you're correct.....I am always stoned. :lot-o-toke:

The Jerk? I love stopping by your garden to read the banter rifleman. I don't say much but I do enjoy the stories.

Cheers RM

RoorRip

:biglaugh: I was wondering if anyone would get the reference Noob. For being on your toes and knowing some Steve Martin trivia, you don't have to sit next to Roscoe during the big fireworks show next weekend. :)

I have to say I was coming with nose plugs just in case. Gotta be prepared when Roscoe gets going.

He gets his government cheese on the 3rd of the month, so anytime after the 28th the nose plugs are unnecessary.

You care if i pull up a chair?

Welcome Weedman. Grab that rocker over by the dog. He doesn't bite, but there are some things worse than that.

Hanging out on the porch enjoying the lower humidity on day 67 for the bucket twins. Both of these are the first run from seed I produced during my last grow. The shotglass plant is still alive with two pistils...still wispy and unable to support itself...day 66.

It's getting close to time to cast my votes so I'm going to review the video tape from last night and burn a couple of fat ones. I'll be back later on to claim I voted for all the winners. :biglaugh:
