Day 61 Water Change

Finally an update from The Roost. :) If you have been following along you know I had a problem with my ph pen and threw caution to the wind last water change. Instead of just having the little exp plant trust the AN PH Perfect claims, the entire garden trusted it. I can't see any damage that wasn't already there. Every other time I added water this week I did it with a 50% nutrient concentration to assist in keeping the buffering agents and nutrients at a working level. I could have probably given them nutrients every time I added water as they were very thirsty this week. Data and photos below.

I didn't notice on the sweet tooth until I was looking at the photos but she has a slight purplish hue around the outer edges of some of her bud leaves. I can't seem to get a photo of it without the yellow tint but i will keep trying this week. (teaser to make you come back:biglaugh:)

I don't know what else to say about BK other than these are the best photos I can get of her. Small house, small rooms, and I can only back away so far. I'm really beginning to think that she isn't going to give me nice fat buds, but lean toward the sativa side and be a skinny wench. Doesn't matter, I'll love her no matter what her orientation is. :) Don't ask don't tell, right? Lol. Don't forget that the photos are linked to larger versions. Questions, comments, and complaints are always welcome, more data below.

LOL to funny. It is I who aspire to grow plants as nice as yours you dork :blalol:
If I didn't have yours and everyones else journals to read and discover new ideas from , my plants would make Charlie Browns Christmas tree look like a dense bush.:laughtwo:

Screw training, get yourself a 15 foot tall tent and go crazy:Namaste:

I figured that space would be an issue but if you have it by all means go for it. I would love to see a 12ft plant in the POTM Comp. :passitleft:

Lovey lil update:thumb:

BK looks like shes gonna attempt an escape out of the roof.

LOL, wonder how the wife would like a spiral staircase to the attic. I think i can put the hole right......there. Perfectly above BK, now I need another 1000w hps. <snicker>

That Q1 sure is a nice looking plant.

I will admit she is growing on me. Initially she was a stretchy ugly girl, but has filled in and come around to a classic Christmas tree shape. Too bad her sister committed suicide so young.

Had a small plumbing problem here today so I rode out to the barn that holds "all that shit we never use", and retrieved the dehumidifier. I thought it would help dry things up a little quicker, and it is, but then Bingo  ! An hour or so running produced well over a pint. A quick check with my pens and it tests out at 5.9ph and 30ppm. A far cry from my chlorine contaminated 8.3ph 175ppm tap water. And I bet I can bring the ppm down with a hard cleaning of the reservoir and coils. I know this isn't enough to run one of my buckets, but it will be enough for hand watering one plant during veg.

Great Grandpappy said it best; "Without adversity there is no adventure."

Life is good, karma has smiled on me again, and all is right at The Roost....except for that damn plumbing situation. There is always tomorrow. :) :peace:

This is exactly what I ve been thinking too do but never got around to testing...... Hmmm, I dump 50 quarts a day roughly out of the one I set up in my furnace room. Great news, I appreciate the effort:thumb: I did start my grow with $3 a jug RO water, two a week started getting pricy so I dumped that a couple weeks ago and reverted back to our terrible town "water" I m gonna check it out tomorrow, thanks again!:Namaste:
