Rifleman's - Multi-Strain Auto Grow - 600W - Hydro

I couldn't agree with you more rifleman ! If I had some land to live on like yourself I for sure would just quit workout and live on it to the fullest and enjoy life. Sadly I don't have any land but want to some day, it's actually a dream of mine to live on my own plot of land and just be out there with the livestock and nature ! I'm glad you are living out your days to the fullest man ;) congrats on that and your gonna be having some nice holidays with these harvests!

Nice journal Rifleman, I went back to the beginning to do a quick scan and had to read every page. Your hydro is taking the Autos to a great finish. :high-five:

I like the way you are taking the DWC to a bigger reservoir, that will be Epic. :Namaste:

I can't wait to see your Capn Style journal and I hope your planning on growing a photo girl. :cheesygrinsmiley:

One more thing Rifleman and you may already know this, the Capn now uses Recharge instead of his brewed tea. FYI just incase. :thumb:

:welcome: Mello. I'm not sure how much longer it's going to take. I don't expect BK to come down until the time St Nick is flying around or later even. The last two of that strain went 95 to 103 days, both contest worthy. The sweet tooth looks like she might come in close to the breeders timeline and be ready in a couple of weeks, and if I can get the rust and crust under control on Q1 she shouldn't be too far behind. So best guess in my cannabis soaked cranial juices right now is everyone will be chopped between Dec 6ish and Jan 6th. Hang around & enjoy until then, and be sure to check out the hospitality tent for samples. :)
Hospitality tent? Samples? Man I missed the love man, all I got was a 1/2 eaten day old doughnut and told to go sit in the corner.

Day 55 Water Change

If it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all. Gloom, despair, and agony on me. I started to take a ph out reading on the first bucket this evening and as I reached over into it I dropped the damn pen into the bucket. I was NOT quick enough to retrieve it before damage was done. Sigh. Want to guess if a replacement is available in small town BFE?...on a Sunday? Not a chance. Nothing to do but soldier on and trust the ph perfect claims of AN. Not really the experiment I wanted to prove it on but what the hell. The little guy that was meant to prove it is doing alright so what could go wrong?....don't answer that. The nutrient soup remained the same with a plan to replace the Big Bud with Overdrive next week. The only other thing of any note to report is BK's 22.5 quart water intake this week, while Q1 only took 18.5quarts and was back built on 20 bud sites(did accomplish that at least), and ST drank just 16 quarts. Since I don't really have anything else to tell you and honestly feel bad enough about being fumble fingered that all the fun was sucked out of this update, I'll just post the photos. Yes some are clear and others are yellow, blame it on the ph pen. I just wasn't into it after that.

Nope OG, I'm flying blind. Kind of like I was the day I decided to quit drinking. BTW, the donut was only half eaten because the dog figured out he preferred jelly filled over the glazed ones.

Edit: I'm pretty sure I have an extra pen around here somewhere unless the cat stole it. I'll look for it tomorrow as soon as I find my round tuit.

When you mix up the AN PH perfect lineup, what does the PH measure? I just mixed up 2G as per their coco Grow schedule (half strength) and it moved my tap water (PH 8.1, 70ppm) to (PH 6.2, 600ppm). My PH pen is "dead nuts on" at 7 but haven't checked it with a lower PH calibrating solution.

Just checking.. I mixed my first batch today at half dosage

Plants look terrific! Good luck RF

Sorry to hear about your ph pen comrade.

I have that same nagging fear that one day I too will drop my pen into the DWC bucket

Garden looks great tough!

I'm probably too late to tell you this but, if you remove the batteries as soon as you get the pen out of the water, if you dried out the inside very well it would probably still work.

My cellphone went into the toilet bowl one time (clean water) and I got it to work again by immediately pulling the battery, disassembling the phone, then letting the components dry a couple days before putting it back together.

News Flash !!

All is right again at The Roost. Rice dried out the cheapo ph pen. It works within .02+/- While scrounging through the tool barn I located a long lost high dollar ph pen. I believe abandoned a few years ago due to not having the required powders to do the three point calibration. Hippity hop to the getting place and bingo! I now have two working and freshly calibrated ph pens. :) Life is good. News also on the experimental sprout. It has four tiny roots through the basket into the solution. PH unknown but it seems to be doing alright. When the lights come on later I will be checking ph on everyone and making notes. So far there seems to be no ill results from the water change with nutrients and a blind eye to the ph. Time will tell, but I feel better at least having a working tool that can help diagnose and correct.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming. Peace from The Roost. :peace:
