Renegade's Hydro Flux - Featuring TwiLight Group's 432 Watt Spider COB LED

The other day I asked an led manufacturer about putting a bow on the face to spread coverage. They seemed to like the idea, so we might see it soon

But you don't have too look to far. Isn't that what GH's design of the Spider is suppose to do.

Just wondering.

I'm not sure. I've looked at the Twilight lights, but without seeing a price I already know it's way out of my reach financially. I'm sure putting a bow on the face of a cob light wouldn't be a problem, I'm just wondering if they can do it with a regular led light.

Hi Renegade,

Sorry to hear you were having conflict issues. It's always better to just walk away. Your gurl looks great! I'm not sure what you're going to be able to do about your height restrictions at this point. I'm sure you're looking forward to your new tent and that you'll put every square inch to good use in no time.

Just wondering...have you heard from Tad? I hope all is OK with him.

Hey Sprite.... Believe it or not it really wasn't me that was having the issues. I was just tired of the constant attacks on both my LED's.

Nuff said...

I was concerned about Tad as well. Hopefully all is well on his island but a big storm did just come thru there. Pray that all is well.

So a few pics of our gurl after her res change out this morning.

She has lost her Flux'ish figure so we'll just treat her like any other failure...LOL. Flux failure that is. She is growing into a beast other than that and promises to produce some nice colas.

She continues to stretch and I'll do nothing till she shows signs of burn. 8 to 10" from the light right now.

Next hard defol at or around 21-25 day mark and we're only at day 8 of pistols so we've got some more to go. I will clip the usual big fan as needed.

And now our gurl...

Will introduce "Snow Storm" at lights out in the morning. Schedule for that will be to spray her once a week at lights out. Sunday morning sounds good to me....

Just a thought buddy, if you're struggling for height give her a heavy defol now & it'll slow her stretch. You can also pinch the stems under the heads if you need to stop the stretch. :)

Happy Sun-Tiva day to all.

What's up Engineer and Skunny....

Engineer I do both at this point. First tuck if you can, then clip the aggressive ones and then of course a heavy defol.

Yep Skunny, I've taken the big fans off the tallest two and will wait as long as I can before clipping any more till the heavy.

I am curious though, does the defol slow the stretch only? Will it also stop the production of pistols and later on trich build up?

Just a thought.

I will control her with defol for sure...

Nope defol at this point will not effect the plant in such ways as you suggested above. It simply stunts the stretch due to forcing the plant to reevaluate its needs. It diverts energy to healing itself and Into production of replacement light panels/ leaves! :) :)
Defol later on can indeed effect yield for the better of worse! Its simply finding the happy medium and understanding the plant!
Baseman 69 and his work on defol is a must read! :)
