Good day/evening to you all...LOL.
Well I wasn't going to post any more pics till the weekend but felt like I wouldn't be giving this plant and this light it's just due.
And after playing with her and those pesky fans I decided I would post a pic to brag about.
I didn't get this grown in the last grow and it was with the "White Widow" by Nirvana. The Widow is a medium height plant and didn't have the growth that this plant does.
Just to recap we are growing Nirvana's "Blue Mystic" a short stature plant.
I must give the 8" height some serious consideration because this plant is stacking the short nodes on nicely.
I'm now (per LA's direction) pulling the heads down just about every other day and the Flux heads are working on their 4th node as we speak.
The Flux heads are at 3" with the canopy of the others at 2 1/2". That's up from about 1/2 to 3/4 since Sunday.
I guess it's safe to say about a half inch every two days. All the heads have a clear shot to the light with my constant tucking of the fans.
So it's going to be interesting to see how much growth she gets in a week.
Regardless of the stretch, we're going to defol at the end of week 2 of stretch since the fans will be well out of control by then. Wait another 2 weeks and do a final defol before flipping to 12/12.
If I'm lucky I'll get at least 2-3" every other week which should put us at or over the 6-8" mark and can then decide to stay with the October 15th flip.
Yes, we like this light.
The plant loves this light.
On another note....
One thing to consider when choosing the strain is the ability to fill and control the spaces in between the colas. Even before I hit that stage I know I will have issues because of this short plant. But the name was soooo enticing...LOL.
I won't do another short plant with flux. Next Flux will be with a medium height plant....Hummm...maybe good ole White Widow...LOL.
What she looks like 3 days after her final trimming and the beginning of pulling down her heads....
Pics...
No more pics till the weekend....
