When the moth season starts, I'd still use a bug-zapper light, if feasible. I know that on my property I don't have enough area to grow outdoors. We have a large lot, but at the beginning of a culdesac. Lots of headlights turning and flashing lights at night.
I'm not a stalker. From your photos with very nice outdoor plants, I know that you can achieve total darkness to flower those beauties.
I'm still thinking you may benefit, with the moths, to hang one of those bug-zapper lights far and away from the garden-if feasible.
They really do attract them. Maybe a $30-$40 investment. Even with the power draw, I know you would recuperate that cost in a single season.
