Hey les how far along are those KC45s if that is what they are sorry if I am wrong.
I believe today is the 41st day since the seeds broke ground.

Im on day 22 of my grow of the one KC45 then I have a NLxSKUNK I have vegging at 12 days

I am following your grow journal. :thumb:

the update on page 17 of the journal looks fabulous Les. I only have one question do you run your veg lights for 18 or 24 hours. sorry if you mentioned it before I have the worst memory at times.

Looks fantastic Les. I love the pics:bravo:

damn that was a real joy to scrol thru with a nice fat bowl. thanks Les

Thank you very much! Much appreciated :Namaste:
To answer your question, when I had the plants under the CFLs, the timer was set to 18/6. :thumb:

Glad to see your experiment is working! My winter experiment seemed to be in a state of animated suspension, but I had an interesting idea. If you did it late enough, your plant could start flowering then revert to veg in spring and you would potentially get a monster plant. Probably not practical for either of us, but it would be cool to see. I know some of the growers up north veg indoors for months then put out 6 footers in spring, but that would be so cool to see it work outdoors the whole time.

I wanted to tell you too, I finally had the chance to try a high quality vape, and I loved it. The taste and smoothness was amazing! I can't wait to get one now.

I think the experiment could be going better, next winter I'll plan better and plant earlier. I would have liked to see flowers already on these plants, it is definitely taking longer than I had expected for auto flowers (then again I never grew them)... was hoping to get a harvest in before March, but that is looking like it won't happen. At least theoretically I'll have something to possibly harvest right after I set the seeds for the main planter bed. Now I'm getting more excited to plant some more mystery sativa seeds or Hong Kong OG and force flower them out, may end up starting some veg plants for an early force flower batch soon.

Also, about your idea, yeah... not too practical for me... I have trouble keeping them under their height restrictions as it is... does not take them long to reach 6 feet even after being topped! Definitely excited for some more force flowered ladies this year though.

About the vaporizer, I'd recommend the Extreme-Q by Arizer, it is a great reliable unit for the price, and the vapor quality is certainly comparable to the Volcano, check out the reviews, multiple of my friends have made the purchase and are happy they can quit inhaling combustion products :Namaste:

Nice and lovely lollie pop there!!!
:thanks:

Looking good boss.

Hello Gang, It`s time to get started playing around. They are feminized but 1.5 years old, so will see if they pop. The one Kush seed was a freebee (RESERVA PRIVADA KANDY KUSH) is what the little baggie says. What ever that means, but I know it is feminized. The other two are feminized Pineapple Chunk. Anyhow depending on what happens in the next 5 days, I hope to get the Kush and one of the Pine`s to root join and splice themselves together. How ever it turns out, I see February through mid-April for veggin and it`s last two weeks + May and June to flower. I can run them 18/6 with 6 to 8 of that being outdoor Florida sun. It will give you a sun burn even though it is still the winter sun phase. Indoor they will be getting almost 400 watts from 2 120w 6K and 2 60w 2.8K CFL`s. But air temps running 45 to 52 at night / 58 to 68 day time average, but still getting to the 78 to 81 in between fronts that come through. The best part is NO HUMIIDITY, there is a lot of condensation in the morning because of the 20 degree swing. But for the most part dew points are in the low 40`s to mid 30`s, with the relative humidity around 50% during the day. Almost ideal and NO BUGS!!! I am looking for them to be totally outside by mid April and 2 to 3 weeks into 12 / 12. It has been very cold as far as night time lows which is good for killing bugs that will start to hatch around the 1st to mid March. F-in grasshoppers will pop in the beginning of April but good cold nights thru February will slow them down big time. Then by June there like roaches and will take spider mites any day!! Just crossing fingers and will let "nature" take its course. If I have the time I will stick something in the grow room but will update with pic`s as they come. Good luck to everyone else and...Peace.....

Keep in mind that it is best for the plant to live it's entire life in the same exact location outside, the longer they have to adapt to their environment, the better they deal with stresses, infections, and bugs.

In our current winter experiment, I had read that with auto flowers (ruderalis) they would not be sensitive towards changes in the lighting schedule, which was ideal and what I wanted, but unfortunately we cannot put a blanket statement on genetics because of the different probable outcomes.

The point I'm trying to make is that I'd be slightly concerned trying to have feminized seeds start a new "niche" right when we want to have them flower peacefully. Regular seeds would still be effected by the adaptation stage, however probably better suited to deal with those stresses as oppose to feminized seeds and the problems we sometimes see with them regarding stresses during flowering.

There is no doubt that growing outdoors in Florida is a tough thing to do, but I'm very excited to follow your grow, always something new in the wilderness of FL that one didn't know existed.
