Relaxed's 2014 Outdoor Medical Grow

I said it before and I'll say it again as I sit here and puff my bowl. KC-45 is some of the most interesting pot I've ever had, and is very very dank. These plants have done me so righteous, this is some of the most intricate and real Sativa that I've ever had, if not the most intricate. This pot is inspiring in many ways. I would recommend this strain to patient people who are really into Sativas, this pot will make you think differently about the world in positive ways. Very good for depression patients. It's like exotic fruit, I really think being ocean grown helps bring out the true nature of the sativas. I've said enough, this is amazing herb. :allgood:

great looking plants and cool smoke report. do you know the genetics of kc-45?

We only know that it is Russian Ruderalis X ** Brazilian Sativa **

white widow comes out of brazil so maybe some white genes? :)

I never thought of that! That makes really good sense now to be honest, the Sativa land race from Brazil!! :circle-of-love: :thanks:

** Brazilian Sativa ** That just sounds exotic.

It really is, the only word I can use to describe it is "incredible"

I'm going to explore some more Brazilian sativas. The Utopia Haze I grew is as you describe, and it really puzzles me. It's a stone unlike anything I've had since maybe the old days - I can't explain it. Maybe the Brazilians are undiscovered gems. White Widow is supposed to be Brazilian, for instance. I'm going to try one from Eva Seeds called Nexus - Brazilian sativa x Blue sativa - and I'll rerun the Utopia Haze and hope it was a typical pheno.

Just wanted to pipe up when I saw that the KC-45 genetics were Brazilian. :thumb:

I'm convinced that the land race genetics that supplied the DNA for these strains are something that is slightly superior, gems as you say... Looking at it geographically, South America seems like the perfect place for such a divine plant to adapt and become wonderful. Speaking of South America, that Santa Maria x Blueberry that I plan on running this fall is supposed to be from plancks cut from the Amazon, so that should be another real interesting sativa to try. For some reason I can really see why cannabis would thrive very well in an adaptive manner, only the best most unique flavors would survive. Perhaps the genetic code is responsible for certain terpenes that don't exist anywhere else in the world, as a response by the plant to survive all of the bugs, and fend them off. Although the land-race qualities are probably attributed to the ability to fare well in low light, cloudy, and humid scenarios, as well as hot and dry. There something about it though that has got me boggled, and I believe I have found a 3rd phenotype, this little plant I got going right now is a mad stinker, nothing like the other plants I harvested. :yummy:

Hey Relaxed, I finally started my outdoor grow for the summer....

Crawdaddy's 2014 Summer Outdoor Season

You got some good looking plants coming along!
Hey Thanks for the invite Craw, I'm there! Can't wait to see you grow those autoflowers, I wonder if you'll get into the same predicament as me, almost got held hostage by these damn autos lol, I thought they'd of been quicker growers, but they take forever apparently, will be interesting to see if you get a crop in by July like you are hoping - since I am hoping to have these force flowers done sometime in July as well..

Great smoke report!
Hey Thanks Bud! :high-five:

It would appear to me, that you have received everything that you wanted.

Nice Report

Aloha Brother Great Skunknight and Munchday to ya :thumb:

Peaked my interest in this strain; especially since it's auto and I'ma grow it outside NOW!
KC Brains Holland - KC 45
The KC-45 is an unusual variety among the many selections on the market due to her partial ruderalis heritage. Ruderalis is a distinct Russian subspecies of cannabis whose most notable characteristic is autoflowering. Unlike indica and sativa strains, ruderalis is not triggered into flowering based on the number of hours of darkness. Ruderalis begins flowering automatically after growing to a certain age, even outdoors in her native Russia. KC's ruderalis-sativa hybrid, K.C. 45 bounces back from stress conditions and can perform in cloudy weather due to its ruderalis mother's minimal need for externally triggered flowering. Meanwhile, its sativa father ensures a strong, euphoric high.

While KC-45 can be grown under lights, it is more appropriate for outdoor gardens. This multi-branched plant grows best in soil, especially with an organic fertilizing program. Once it roots, KC-45 will grow to a nearly 7-foot-tall Christmas tree, whose impressively long branches remain bare of leaves near the stem, but support meter-long colas. In outdoor environments, this plant will ripen by September 15; indoors, it takes 8-10 weeks to finish flowering.

Would love to see how it grows for you!

This wonderful sativa welcomes me into the world after a long, interesting night of dreaming in an altered state. There is nothing like waking up to this sativa. Incredible! :cheertwo:

Ive been confused for a while now! (quite normal for me lol)
This KC45 I have a load of these beans! Untill now Ive been giving them away as second rate beans to my friends!! Now I read that I may have cocked up. All mine are the auto of this strain so thought it was different from yours as never noticed any auto talk!! Mine are all pheno selected by an ex member on here!
Am I onto a good thing???

This is definitely nice-looking sativa resembling Panama or even African landraces. Hope you're gonna find a pheno worth preserving, Lester.

Yup the KC-45 I'm growing is Russian Ruderalis X Brazilian Sativa, so they are suppose to be "autoflowers", however the last batch took almost 6 months from start to finish

I think the sights and smells attract animals so they spread the seeds :)
That explains the mammalian endocannabinoid relation! :)

Yeah I may have to cut a couple clones of this new pheno, that stink is nice :circle-of-love:
