I thank you so much for this ultimate wonderful comment. Finally, we have painted a picture that relates to me and my little backyard grow. I like how you used the word "Catch 22", because I totally agree that is what it feels like. To answer your question, on one hand, I am one of those people who is slightly envious of the folks who can grow indoors (as crazy as that sounds), it would be great to have that type of consistent income of medicine, because as you know outdoors it's hit or miss. However, unfortunately growing indoors is simply not an option for me at this current time in life. For one, my plant limit is only 6 budding plants, and with the layout of our little house, there is literally no room to put any kind of growing area other than the small vegetative area that's for the winter in the garage. The cost of running lights, and whatever other costs it entails for growing indoors would simply not overcome the size of beautiful plants that I can grow outside for virtually free by the time its said and done. It just simply is not an option given the situation so like I said, I just make due with what I got, and luckily have been able to fine tune it to consistent point where I can obtain the finest possible medication for the cheapest possible price. So to be quite honest there is really nothing like seeing cannabis plants grow their whole life in the Sun and transform into these different stages of life right before our eyes. In some spiritual way, I truly believe it is one of the most fascinating ways to honor the laws of physics which our Sun is governed by, and ultimately us as biological entities living on this little planet. I guess what I am saying is I am truly fascinated by plant science and the Sun in general. But one day if I end up moving up North for any reason I would definitely dig into the higher plant limits and a new house to establish something else. For now I will enjoy the ancient aspect of life, and really admire the beauty of outdoor organic ocean grown medicine :Namaste:

Again, thank you so much for this comment Josh - what you said ment a lot:circle-of-love:

I know. :Namaste:

Just thought I'd mention the indoor idea.

:wood: Good morning Lester,

Yeah! Cheers to that lol :passitleft: :high-five:

I want to state that we are currently witnessing early stages of Iron lockout in ALL 4 Flowering Blackberry plants. This is as a result of multiple factors, one of them being the pH being just a tad bit too high. So even though there is iron in there it can't absorb it very well. I will be flushing them with pure clean distilled water, and then applying a tiny bit of D&S Step 2. I also have a kilo of pH down by GH since the Blackberries are obviously reacting to the high pH tap water I've been giving them. This type of problem can also happen when the plant is subjected to times of increased rapid growth and stressed to change (Since I JUST put her into flower last week), quite often these little symptoms will disappear on their own.

The next update will be in a couple hours, I'll do it in segments first showing the Blackberries, and then later on I'll do the KC-45s. The KC-45's, even though treated with exactly the same organic teas, same exact tap water, and same exact initial soil substrate, all look fine. This allows me to conclude that the genetics plays a big role in that exact metabolism of various strains. The ability for us to adapt as gardeners is being able to adapt to what individual needs of specific plants and strains. Luckily for me since I know this is occurring on ALL 4 BB specimens this is a response that is heightened by their genetic lineage. Hopefully this does not worsen because these Blackberries are very precious to me. :Namaste:

Weekly Update
This portion of the update will cover the status of the Sativa Blackberries, they are looking pretty good, and even better since their flushing I would say. They are certainly being kicked into flower mode now so there is no surprise we are seeing rapid change in the plant structures. Each individual plant was flushed with 2.5 gallons of distilled water, all served at once for adequate run off. Following a little relaxation time, the plants were then watered with 1 tbs D&S#2 per gallon of distilled water between the 4 plants to replenish some of the immobile metals. Over all looking good and they will be monitored through the next week, this type of thing will either go away, or get worse over time since Iron moves rather slowly through the system. I'll post the KC-45 update later, there is one plant that is getting me interested. Here are the BB pics.

:bravo: Great Eye Lester! They'll be just fine in your hands!

I don't see any issues besides normal nitrogen hunger? they look great, a lot better than when you were starving them.

I think you've found what crawdaddy's problem is. I'm gonna go let him know.

I think so! :Namaste:

Yeah, I never really starved them lol, it did not appear to me to be regular nitrogen depletion, although this kind of slight yellow of new leaves is not new for what I have seen in early flower, it just kind of screamed to me that something was up since each plant had the same symptom. They loved their flushing, and so I am confident things will grow out of it and these will be some wonderful plants. :circle-of-love:
