Recess Is Over - Now To Muck Up The Lesson

I don't like it.. I find it power consuming for its footprint.. I think it's close to 600w maybe 550.. there would be a better way to utilise 1200w if I was to put a 600 in.. I'm up in the air at the moment with light purchase.. I was going to buy a cmh but Santb found these 200w cree panels for $260us. Two of those would cost same as one cmh, extra 50w and supposedly would replace an extra 200w to what the one cmh replaces..
 
Donvito, how did the juanita turn out? Was it that or bagseed that was taking forever to finish? Did it finish? Back on the oil, hope your well..

Hey Grizz, hope all is well. I have been considering switching to COB lights myself, I've been following Fanleafs thread and he makes it sound very attractive, definitely worth the time to read.
 
Lights....now there's just more choices lol. I like the COB. For power consumption vs. usable light output and low heat they are very impressive. After getting a little use with them my light upgrades will be COB. Right now I have a mix mash of COB, HPS, MH and led lol.
I've never used cmh but I personally know some growers that swear by them.

I like the combination of LED and HPS. I definitely noticed an improvement in resin and terpene production when I added LED to my current HPS setup. So HPS for light penetration and yield, and LED for a small bump in yield but more importantly the extra goodness the buds seem to produce.

When I was using HPS I added 2 ReptiSun UVA/UVB 40w tubes. Got a really nice increase in resin and terpenes were stinking really well, too.
 
Yeah, so I've heard leds help hps with trich production.. friends grow with hps and I'm not sure buds can get any frostier though :rofl: some of pics feral and yourself have put up, doesn't look like any space left for more frost... heard dudes say you get same added production with reptile bulbs, turned on for the last hour or something like that..
 
I think it's very much the same principle at play with HPS/LED Jandre. I read an article about it a while back. I will see if I can track it down again.

Man I'm a light weight in the Grizzworld. 4 hits and I'm down for 4 hours, but then again I only smoke like once every 3 months due to work and random testing. 4 cones and I probably couldn't move for a week.

It was that bag seed that took forever. Not sure what happened there. Smells like hay??? I chopped her down. I'll run some alcohol over her and see what I can get. Might have a little Bowl first and see if it's worth while.

My first Juanita was pretty good. More of a body stone. It's meant to make around 12% THC and CBD so it is balanced. Got 100g off the first plant. About to make oil out of her.

As for my health, all is ok. Tumors are the same size they were 11 months ago and they were meant to x4 every month. So I'm doing something right.

My purple headband is about 700mm tall now. Will probably snip some clones off her next week then give here a few weeks before I flip her. And Pineapple Express is about 500mm tall and healthy also.

Not sure what to drop next some Tutankhamon or white widow, amnesia...
