Recess Is Over - Now To Muck Up The Lesson

seeeds finally got here.. lots more to choose from now.. some La Niña nevhaze and master kaze have me excited to crack.. if you wondering why I'm buying so many. Stock up folks.. yesterday was a better time to start but today's just as good, .never know what tomorrow may bring... get old school unscrambled genetics (hope that's what I'm buying) in order to create more bean for future and cut out the odds of finding the good ones.. have a look at some of these strains on seedfinder, querkle smirkle x trainkush bubbawreak. 4X4 parents in female more into male, what you beeeding that with or into and what are you wanting? Whatever comes out, lol... I don't get worried, not sure if I really care, I do a little I guess, but there's places to get beans from, although as nevils said, shit sometimes happens and some mistakes can't be reversed, but with gm and pharma and feminised and autos and the seeming willingness to breed with herms or not stress test, I think it's a good idea to have a frozen catalogue for your growing future...

Grizz,
Damn straight.
The "Purple Bubba Wreck Diesel Haze Kush" 64-way polyhybrids being pushed at growers are, tbh, fucking garbage. Unless, and here's the caveat, you have extensive space (i.e., not a fucking grow tent) oh, and a shitload of luck, to go unicorn hunting. And then, maybe (but probably not) a grower might get lucky. Afom recently did a 12,000w "unicorn hunt." Well over 100 seeds of very popular 16-way crosses etc. popped, & then selected & culled down to 48 females in the end. A whole fuckton of seeds with super-sounding names like "Ultra Kush Thunderfuck Haze Purple Lemon Diesel Lightning Shazam!" (And some seeds with good parents that really got scrambled by the pollen chuckers lack of knowledge as to the science of how hybrids really work.) In the end, there's MAYBE a SINGLE female that bears running a second time. Several months invested, not to mention power & other running costs, and not one fucking standout. There were three that bore a second look, and one that bore a third look, but there wasn't an obvious single elite selection in the whole damn bunch. Now granted, we're pretty fucking jaded individuals, and really hard to impress, but it illustrates what you're saying, i.e., that the vast majority of people that're making & selling seeds have no fucking idea past letting pollen fly, how to actually breed superior marijuana. And The Old School Classics are by FAR, superior. They are. Lots of the "WTF Is Wrong?" threads here, are because shitty genetic recombinations make for fucked up plants. .

Good day today lots of presents arrived..

..So last week I email the professor nutrients. I simply said that I was looking to change nutrient lines and if they would have a sample pack to get a plant through, to see what I was buying.. they got back to me few hours later asking for my address, tick one.. today the package arrived.. im bloody so happy, as I really wanted to try this line out, hence why I emailed them, lol..

I don't think they realised they were sending it to some nuffer in a small tent

The NOTY prize list had a bunch of nutrients on it including a bunch of nutrients- but hardly any thing showed up. Man all that work I've put into chasing after the dangling carrot of those prizes for the last four months and I could have just asked for some free samples.. :laughtwo:

Skunkworkz if you get this- do you have any ideas on a strain I'm looking for? Well- it's kind of the same shot most people are looking for I suppose. -I'm looking for a knockout high thc indica strain. I grow partly in a semi-legal situation for some patients who crave that stuff. I can't smoke it myself. So far Pineapple Chunk has been the go-to bud for them, but it's a weird plant and I keep looking for something else.

Black thumbs, sample  I know
Weasel.. not sure I'm allowed to comment after crying for my (well used ) butter machine.. but I think I read once that they stopped exporting chemicals and even stop shipping to some states. I could have made that all up but spider senses say there's some truth there (somewhere), maybe the 'I could have made all that up' part  i thought there was no harm in asking. It worked. Must be some other Canadian line trying to take AN's business, email them :)
Feral, I was expecting 250ml a&ab and maybe a powdered sample pack of booster, not the line up, not 5lt of base and starter. And all those extras, I felt like a happy grinning kid..

Skunk1/NL5 or Skunk1/Afghani from Mr. Nice, in my opinion, Weasel. .

Ortega is supposedly really narcoticlly nice but I haven't tried... nl1 x nl5

Sku1 Afghan, that'd be nordle..

White Rhino!! Sheesh...how could I forget about that strain. Probably my all time favourite indica. I think MNS has it under the name medicine man.

Regarding superior marijuana: When in doubt, look backwards through history at The Classics. The cornerstones of the indoor marijuana ecosystem are Skunk #1, Northern Lights, Afghani, and Haze.
Thing is, the majority of the so-called "breeders" currently working are so busy mindlessly recombining popular "names" that they think will sell, and sadly do, that they don't bother doing any research into the genetic background of what they're fucking together. Simple recombinant math shows that lots of the poly-hybrids being sold today are up to 64-way crosses. Sixty-fucking-four way recombinations. Good fucking luck getting anything remotely stable from ten (LOL) seeds from that disaster. Breeders have a responsibility to the community not only to not pollute the gene pool, but also to be transparent in their methodology so growers can make informed decisions and hopefully grow better as a result. Looking around, it's real fuckin' clear that simply isn't happening much, if at all these days. Feminized seeds are out there so heavily it's said, so breeders can "protect" their P1 stock. That's absolute bollocks. The best thing a breeder can do with their work, is to spread the genetics of the P1 stock around via natural, male/female seeds. The modern cannabis seed market is missing the fucking Point, and the growers, and the community at large absolutely suffer as a result. Fact is, information is power. The more informed a grower is, the better the probability for the best results. If you buy seeds based on shitty ad copy & heavily photoshopped bud pics, you get what you deserve. Do the research, put in the time to learn, and don't piss away money on "flavors of the month" & you'll be in the 1% in no time.

stop making so much sense.... let's talk about unknow mothers or fathers lol, If you listen to alot of breeders, you'd think best breeding stock comes from bag seed

Isn't that part of the OG Kush legend?

From Leafly...

Popular myth maintains that Chemdawg and Hindu Kush parented OG Kush, passing on the distinct “kush” bud structure we see in many strains today. However, we can’t be sure because OG Kush first came from bag seed in the early 90s. The earliest propagators (now known as Imperial Genetics) are said to have brought the seeds out of Florida to Colorado and southern California, where it now flourishes.
