And... To toss gas on the fire, 97% of the "OG Kush" people here grow, has zero relation to real OGK. More cashing in on names, is all it is. .

I'm crossing my bubba kush with Lunar Landing soon Grizz I can send a few seeds so you can pheno hunt it, and l just picked up 3 Pure Kush seedlings, once I read up on it I wanted to grow it.
 
Hey red.. you should find something nice in that.. I've got my next seven years of growing setout, lol and that's if I don't find any keepers or something I want to work with/smoke,lol... I'm half expecting to find a lot of these strains amongst the various phenos.. I'm also reading to f2 the widow crosses supposedly it is bringing something out, shark shock in particular, lots to find/workout/cross.. wish I had more space to play with..
 
I was just reading some stuff, I'm actually trying to find some cannabis pain management info for Wessel, and I come across this.. even though they talking about extraction methods here, just made me think how hard it is at the moment for people growing at home for medicinal.. reading cbd crew testing, It's almost luck if you get what you desire at the moment.. anyway, I'm laughing at the small sample size.

well currently we have a BHO machine for extraction going into our farm. We also will be doing organic ethanol bath to service the quantity and reduce the size of the biomass into primary extraction. We are also doing a part of it by CO2 and another part by DME to compare all figures and see what is preferred in what part of the industry.

On our pre data sample it looks like DME extracts btn 15/19% , Ethanol , BHO both do about 12/15% and CO2 is like 12.5%...all on the identical sample batch of CBD Yummy #2. Since the sample was only 20 lbs we understand these figures will change a bit.
14 days into harvest and almost half completed...a lot of work and a good spell with the weather this season means very little of the crop is with problems.

You should check last seasons crops out if you haven't.. Colorado Oregon and Washington, I think is where they were.. around 60,000 clones in each farm. They hung dried the plants with a forklift :rofl:
 
I understand how tough it is. I'm trying to find a magic bullet for the wife's fibromyalgia, depression, and anxiety. I haven't found it in a year and a half. At this point I'd be happy to find a strain that did a good job at just one ailment. It would be nice if there was a dispensary nearby where we could try a bunch of stains without having to wait 3 months for plants to grow, then harvest and cure. We have a friend with bad arthritis that says the Painkiller XL helps her Rheumatoid Arthritis, so for inflammation type pain, that may be one to try. It's a higher CBD strain. 9% THC, 9% CBD. Didn't care so much for growing the plant. It really wants to stretch despite topping and LST.
 
It's still awhile away, I was really surprised how little there is. Especially when looking for the, idk, more trusting data I suppose, and not the cannabis is best home grower data...
 
Then as a home grower, if you find a good one, and if you didn't make clones, can you repeat it, or will you have to sort through a bunch of seeds to get the same phenotype again.
 
Got look through those seeds again.. at least you'll know where to look..

Jandre kush day 57.. few of these are ready now, so when I have some spare time I'll start taken them down.. 1&2 or rather 2&1 will come down first.. 2's all cloudy. I wouldn't think I'm looking for amber trichcome production with these (speak up if i should be :rofl:) number 5, what's this girls about? Small stinky frosty leafy. She has every chance of taking the title smelling her and looking at her frost.

Grizz you mentioned once that you were having trouble seeing videos on 420. Did you sort that out? I haven't been able to use videos here for a long time. They just show up as a blank white space in the post.

Yeah I haven't done anything or even looked to fix it. I've sounded like an idiot with a few comments saying nothing's showing or whatever :rofl:

I believe if your growing for home medicinal purposes, the first thing to learn would be cloning and it should be done with every plant. Can't afford to lose the medicine that works. .. autos excepted but this is where growing autos for medicinal gets, err, idk I'll skip that bit... something all medicinal growers should do, clone...
