Recess Is Over - Now To Muck Up The Lesson

I know... I was being a dick.. simple sense of humour here. As long as I get a laugh  I'm mean, as long as I laugh :rofl:

Hey Grizz, all good I hope. That Malawi cob sounds just like the compressed buddah from the mid 80s.

That was my thoughts reading it.. around 92 we were getting compressed Buddha... might have been similarly cured. I remember dude saying it was buried. Until right now, I just thought that was to hide it :rofl:

Don't think I'd like to smoke that goat shit one but seems interesting about fermenting the buds in the cure.Ive got a dog bag buried around here with that THC bomb I pulled last year and it was frosty as,might be worth a dig up:)
Plants are looking awsome mate,I luv the 3rd pic down and they look like they are throwing out snow now:thumbsup:

Looking awesome man, I almost missed that update  went back 3 pages and thought I was all caught up lol

Don't think id like to try the goat method either  even the corn husks method seems too much work for me  after drying mine sits in jars with bovedas and I don't have to do a thing :)

Thanks mate.. getting really sticky now which is nice.. yeah that ones the best in my opinion. Would have been a little big for my tent , I'm glad I topped her..

I'm going to try it, worth it if what I'm reading is even quarter true.. be a sativa that needs a few month cure anyways, so unless gets mouldy, shouldn't take any longer.. half ounce same strain method test would be worthwhile I guess..

:passitleft: good night mate  yes it does sound 'very interesting'

There used to be a great tutorial on making the Malawi Cobs. I think it was from an online magaizine- doesn't seem to be available anymore. Too bad. It was written by someone from Malawi and was pretty extensive- lots of pics. But the process is pretty much as described- wrap it up very tight in banana leaves, compressed and tied- buried in the ground for 6 months (I think- or maybe 3). Enough info that we could probably figure it out- I discussed it a bit in one of my other journals- thought you were there but I guess not. I meant to try it- but then I forgot again. It's back on the to-do list now.
Oh yeah- it's cold and wet here and there are no banana leaves and I can't imagine anything surviving here when buried in the ground. I'm sure I'll figure something out.

Rubbish bin... I thought I was in your journals too  memory can't be that bad can it? Was it on a page with no pictures?

Howdy gents, been a while. Here are a few clones I forgot I left outside. Isn't that cute haha

Hope you're all well.

Hey donvito.. was wondering where you were and how the plants ended up..

IIRC the herb is wrapped in banana leaves and then buried. I've smoked malawi, but I was still very much a rookie and remember... well...not much of anything. Not a great evening. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I see this place is still jumping Grizz. What kind of grow spaces are you working with?

Hey mate, I was thinking you might have tried them, seeing as your closest to the source.. can't remember much/rookie/not a great evening, has me more intrigued to give this a go  veg in 3x3 under 170w led light (that's all I have working) and flower in 4x4 with 1200 mars,(that's all I have working:rofl: unfortunately)... nothing's gotten out of control yet, but I've been unfortunate to lose couple to hermies, so that's kept the space controlled to a point..

Yeah, I would actually like to try it again myself, but Malawi has been scarce around here for a while now. At some point I would love to try my hand at growing it out as well. For now, I will stick to the more traditional cash crop though. Hopefully soon I will be able to experiment a little more.

How do you find that big Mars panel? When you have some cash spare, maybe throw in a 600w HPS with it. Although I think I remember you saying you were going the CMH route. Seems to be all the rage these days.
