I've tried twice now to get these old ass lemon skunks too pop with no luck. One cracked and went into soil never to be seen again. I still have a couple. Maybe in the heat of summer I can get them to germ in soil outdoors. Maybe in pots on my patio

Dank to me is the earthy, piney, og smooth taste! I'm really into the lemon terps though! They are my favorite. I have a couple lemon snow cones from elev8 seedlings started. It's supposed to be super strong lemon terps. Their 2 scoops is killer! Nice high and smooth creamy flavor. I'm really impressed by it. Hopefully the snow cones will be great too

Where did you get the Lemon Skunk Dankman? I have to agree on the lemon terps and strains. They are special in their own ways. The only real lemon I have right now is a pack of Super Lemon Haze I am saving for a time when I can self it or breed it to save some lemon genetics.
I am hearing more and more about elev8 genetics. Going to have to keep a eye on those guys. With so many damn companies out there. I like to watch them for a while before trying them. This is one company that it may be time to buy from.

I got the lemon skunks from DNA years back, probably 4 if I had to guess. They are regs. I still have a few. When I first got them they germinated fine, but the couple that I popped were males. I have high hopes for the lemon snow cones. I'm told that the lemon terps are too strong from the guy who I got the seeds from. Sounds right up my alley. Lol

I have had nothing but good luck with DNA. I have to agree that there really isn't such a thing as to much lemon LOL.

I think the only strain I have on hand that produces lemon flavor/smell is Columbian Punto Rojo x Durban Bubble. I've only grown 2 of them and they both reminded me of some Super Lemon Haze I used to get from the medicine shops... now I gotta count my seeds.

Yeah I am really short on lemon. The Jack the Ripper I lost was one of the best lemon plants I have grown. Great lemon flavor, strong sativa high, with literally no munchies at all. This was a great plant. As you can tell it was frosty as hell. I managed to reverse this plant and tried to self it. First attempt to self and it failed. This plant was lost forever.
I have hopes for the Jacks Cleaner hybrids I did. I have some F-2's of the JC 2 plus a bonus hybrid I got from being sloppy with the JC 2 pollen. It is with the Tangilope which has strong citrus terpenes. It is more like lemon rind, there is lemon but it has a bitterness too.
Ok who got me talking about lemon?????? LMAO. Last year I grew some Power Plant from Spliff. They were feminized I save a few. These plants themselves were incredible. Bushy, hard buds, close internodes, lime flavor. Yep lime flavor or mostly anyway. It was pretty good weed but wasn't great. I still would love to breed something into it just because it would be such a great mother. Just had a thought of growing it with the last of the Crockett Tangy I have left they are regular and I should get a male. I hate the flavor Tangy but Tangilope isn't bad. Tangy is covered in trichomes and strong as hell. The outcome would be citrus for sure. Iam sure the flavor would change. One could hope for the better.
the more I think about it the more I know I will. Genetics of both strains are great. Similar growth with hard buds on boths strains. If anything could take this Power Plant strain into the stratosfear it is Tangy.

Wow man that JTR is gorgeous!!! I have only had JTR twice, and both time it was exactly as you described. Sativa high with absolutely no muncies, and lemon taste. The only plant I've grown that smelled and taste llike lemon was Alien Og, but it had a earthy taste on the back end.

On a different subject. Elev8! Dankman mentioned them here. I did some checking into their genetics. First time in a long time I have found a new breeder I really need to try. I think I really need to see what their Gorilla Glue is. It has been backcrossed with something to F-5. Sounds like they may have a viable option for G.G.
The one that interested me the most was their Blackberry Dream. A strain bred just its euphoric effects. I am a big fan of psychoactive strains. Kimbo Kush x Super Silver Haze could be just that. For me it would probably be better to just breed my Purple Betty to one of the Super Silver Haze I have. I have Greenhouse and Dinafem SSH. Till then I might have to try Blackberry Dream.
Elev8 has decent price's if what they say it is, IS what it is. What really sold me was the why and wherefore they did everything. It is only worlds so it doesn't mean it is true. If it is great. Jack I have sampled only 2 scoops from elev8 and I can say it was really good quality! I have high hopes for the lemon snow cones seedlings I have from them. But I think the next time I drop some cash for something new it will definitely be from them

2/2 with Devil's Pitchfork x Trailer Trash Betty knocking it out of the park with potency. More potent than the first. Not the best daytime smoke. Expands hard in the lungs but isn't harsh. Very happy with my choice to pollinate Betty last year.
I have 3 of these left growing, all different phenotypes. The only green one looks like she might go 12+ weeks.

Very nice. TTB has a pheno that will go super long. Not very often but they show up. It's a throwback to the SSH I think. I had one years back that went forever. It just kept getting frostier. It grew by itself for over a month till I finally shut it down. It could have went another month I bet. It didn't get hurt potency wise. It was strong as hell and had the best flavor of all the Betty's I have grown.

I was planning on a contest of which plant is frostier. Pictures didn't work out like they look in real life. Cannalope Haze and Alpha Dawg are right next to each other. Both covered in frost. The Cannalope just doesn't show it as well. I will post it at the end but no use trying to compare it to Alpha Dawg. This A.D. won't produce much but who cares with crystal coverage like this.
The Cannalope has frosty leaves that are curled they just don't photograph well. Don't matter to me I don't have to smoke the photos. This plant is going to kick ass I am sure. It has a nice sweetness from the mexican genetics that the others don't have.

Jack or anyone, have you ever started seeds straight into rooter plugs? I saw some videos on the tube showing seed starting by just pushing seeds into the plugs and covering in a dome

Nope never tried it. I would not be surprised to see it work. Seeds are pretty tough and can do more than people think. I have found that some seeds don't have the energy as others. I had problems with sprouts that couldn't push through the top of the soil. I managed to save one. Because of this I have tended to start babing my seeds a little more gingerly. Good seeds should do fine with water and light no matter how you plant them. It all matters how much you value the seeds I guess. Anything special or rare and I would baby them.
