Radogast 2 - Return of the Clones

I'll be Hatfield and you can be McCoy!

Sounds like a really nice setting for a home! Like where a Radogast would domiciliate! Watch out Hatfield and McCoys!! Radogast lives here! Cheers ya weed growin' wizard!

Not really off the beaten track by Alaska standards, but private by Massachusetts standards. :)

yeah rado I do I literally feel like im being robbed/punched in the face by the utility company every single time I open my bill. It really should be illegal especially since I have an old victorian made in 1882 so it is almost 3000 sqft and does not hold the heat very well at all. All well what can ya do just have to be happy I have a roof over me, my fiance, and my 3 pretty girls heads (im refering to my pitbulls but they are like children to me lol)... hey any chance I could see a picture of the bridge in your yard? My fiance was reading your journal with me and told me to ask you, she loves old bridges lol. Hope the girls are looking good and feeling happy! Good day my fellow bostonian

Saturday night in the garden room.

The same plants in the same room with subtle differences.

I installed an overhead can light and power outlets

Beginning with a new 20 amp circuit breaker, I ran about 100' of yellow 12 guage wire.

The main circuit box, GFCI outlet with line side circuit to the overhead light and load side circuits to two other outlet boxes.

Outlet inside the garden room, for most lights and fans

Wall outlet outside the garden room for electricity to the basement toking lounge.
We don't smoke issue the house, so a winter place indoors is really important :)
TV, broken wii, PS2, cable box, sofas, chairs and tables will now probably be all rearranged.

I love ReStore. $18 for all the circuit boxes, can light and clip on oscillating fan.
I purchased the circuit breaker and outlets new at a Home Depot

Hey Radogast, Nice grow rooms! Don't you love the extra room? Can't wait to see them fill up. :bravo:

My vague plan is to start 3-5 plants every 6 weeks. If the flower room is full, I can find a spot in the garden room until harvest makes more space.
I will also be starting and growing garden herbs such as comfrey, St John's wort, and mullein.
If I run out of light and space in the garden room, I can move the garden herbs in the house or outdoors.

I'm hoping I can make friends with the 300w LEDs, (I want the light) but not until I get robust MJ posts in flower.

I haven't been to see the latest Shadowman video yet, but I hope to find a listening spot soon :)

Basement toking room is beginning to fill with glass :)

With below freezing temperatures all week, the garage has been totally abandoned for smoking.

About 2/3 of the glass has already been brought down to the basement and smoked.

I had to be told five of the names

nice glass collection my friend. me and my girl had a huge glass collection in this skinny tall display case I got just for the glass and a ton of it broke when we had some stupid ass construction guys doing siding at our last apartment (which the landlord never told us was happening) and since it was right against the wall one of the top shelfs vibrated off from them banging against the house right behind the cabinet. It was deff one of the most devistating days of my life, thousands of $ in glass just gone, shattered. I was just thankful that it didnt all break. I unfortunatly cant smoke at the moment either for one reason or another and its all packed up in boxes except for the big bongs, cant wait till I can again and will pull it all back out. wish I had someone near by to hold onto so they could be used because im sure everyone will agree with me that its a sin to have a ton of glass sitting in a box unused lol

Ours is a modest priced collection;. I think only 3 or 4 pieces were over $50.
But... All of them are used every week :)

Looking great man. If you ever need tips on electrical stuff, shoot me a PM.

Thanks for coming to visit DarkGreenGoo. :welcome:

Thanks for the offer. years ago, when I bought my first house, ( knob and tube and cloth wrapped wires) I read the electric code manual from National Fire Prevention Association. The code is not well written, but at the time I was also reading telephone company tariffs so I managed to absorb most of the key elements.

I ran fully grounded 12 guage unprotected romex on 20 AMP breakers with an estimated maximum load of 2000 watts (current load under 500 watts) with all electrical at least 36 inches off the floor. If not actually up to code, it should be safe enough :) Next wiring project, I'll take a look at the actual loads on the right and left sides of my main panel, but for under 10 amps, I didn't bother this time.

That said, if you see anything wrong PLEASE let me know !

p.s. You reminded me I should take those little "protected by GFCI" labels and stick them on the outlet boxes !

Smoking room looks great - You need to get a little space heater so you can use it on those long cold nights :peace:

I hooked the 6" air outlet from the flowering room and have it exiting into the toking room :) :tokin::lot-o-toke::bong:
With the curtain walls and the intermittent 75°F air from the girls, the temp last night was 67°F with an outdoor temp of 28°
I might need a carbon filter next year :)

smoking room looks comfy, the grow rooms look like they are coming together quite nicely. Wish I had room to build such a room in my basement but I will have to get really good at growing in a cabinet.
