Quad12 JustMeds RDWC Build

Such a cool mix of plants man

Plants are mixed, but will not do it that way again. With a system like this they need to all finish at same time or there is trouble.

What I am thinking about that is similar to what you are doing is:

Using a centrifugal humidifier as a cloner. Set it up on a timer for like 5 min on and 30 off. No motor or pump is in water so temps will stay nice and cool. Hope that makes sense.

Sure does. What's keeping the water oxygenated?

Its just a spinning impeller in the water. The water is pulled up the spinning disk and turned into mist as it is flung off. The water draining back and flying through the air should pick up plenty of O2, I think.

Sounds fancy. Never seen one before. Wasn't sure if water was just gonna be sitting there growing bacteria in between mists without any bubbles or movement. Sounds pretty good though

Here is a link to one that is real similiar on ebay. It has some good pics so you can see what I am talking about.
KAZ Humidifier

Picked up this scope for checking things out and here are a few pics from it for examples.

I thought about that. I think you would lose about 3" to 4" depending on what fitting you use. Then if there was a nice 1/4" fall from edge to center of container. We would have something. Any ideas on where to get something like this would be great. I was thinking of making a mold shape that fit a container, placing container in oven to control temp, at just right temp remove and place on mold to take shape of the bottom I want.
Hey just an idea on the container. If you could some how make a lid i have seen old ...like a shop sink...i guess and they are 5.5 gallons and have the drop from edge to center with a drain in the middle from purchase... They are deep sinks...Usually wall mounted but it might work

Congrats on first post dude. Was very well presented and informative! Haha just stirrin ya up, sounds good though. Be sure to say when you get a journal going for your grow!
How do i start a journal.. Can i do it from the smartphone app? Im on day 4 of my first deep water culture hydrofarm. I built it myself in my closet aprox 3x3x6 ..Only growing 2 plants but they are Northern lights.reg seed. Hoping for girls.. Getting the seeds inspired the build and grow. Due to me being a mad scientist i wanted to do hydro.. Quickly learning that it is easier and harder than i thought lol.

The scope is working good. Takes a good picture. Are those at max zoom?

No, I think it will zoom more. I was holding it by hand and watching images on my phone. The focus is on the backend where the cord goes in. Those are the 1st 4 pics I took with it... LOL Sure looks to be good enough to determine ripeness and post pics for others to see.

Make sure you put a link in your sig and here on this thread so we can all jump on... LOL Welcome aboard looking forward to seeing your journal.

Ok, got all the stuff to build my new cloner. Wondering if I should do another build journal for that?

What is the longest anyone has kept clones in a aeromist type cloner? I am wondering how big they would be in 4-5 weeks.. I am afraid of running short of room. Any input?

Sure looks like air stones are not needed. What ya think?

I'm gonna reserve judgement on the air stones. I want to see your next grow when all four tubs are full of roots. That will be a lot more representative.

But I certainly can't knock what I'm seeing so far.
