If your using that rack you will dry in a couple days compared to hanging branches.
It's harder to judge.
Do you have the little hygrometer that goes in the jars.
I'd keep jarring some buds every 4-6 hours testing the rh.

I do have a wood moisture meter that has 2 prongs you can use it to test the moisture of the bud inside just like it was a piece of drywall, if I use that I would want the center of my buds to be 60% ish humidity?

I don't know how accurate that is?
Get these.

Thats what I thought everything sounded good till I read that if it is `12% in the center what is outside? I would think you would want 58 to 65 %
Thx Buddy

Bill, I bought a 12 pack of those hygrometers and they were terrible. I put all of them in a container with moistened salt (which should read 75%). Most of them were over 10% off.
That's when I decided to try Grove bags, and so happy I did. No burping , no bovedas, and no hygrometers needed. Here's a readout for 9 oz of Jenny, a Purple Haze, curing in a 1 lb grove bag over the last month.

The best part is that the bags keep more terpenes too. Overall, they cost less than canning jar+boveda+hygrometer. I love my Grove bags.

Thanks LkABudMan.:thanks: Hope your having a great day.
I've never tried them.
Read some good reviews though.
It's hard to switch from something you know to something don't.
But I'll definitely order some in the fall before harvest.
He @Savvage61 might be something to invest in.

It's close to being done.
But I've said that before.
It's been difficult between the weather and wind and working by myself doesn't speed things up.
And rain in the forecast again today.

I did some more looking and found out how that moisture meter works apparently a nice bud is about 30% water the meter tells you the percentage of water in the bud or wood or whatever ever so it isn't reading the percentage of humidity it is the percent of water/liquid Like I guess if ya stuck it in a watermelon it would read 90 - 95 % WATER i AM STILL PLANNING IN USING THE hYDROMETERS right after I fix the caps button on this fricking keyboard lol. I m plan on doing what you suggested I just ordered a dozen. but I( though you would like to know what I found out I thought 12% was insane topo and ya know I don't know squat lol time to lay back down talk to ya sooin

I am going into week 4. I'm still confused. Why does it have weeks 1-4 then goes back to 1 then ends at 7
The first four weeks are their recommended Veg cycle (Grow Phase), the next chart with 7 weeks is for the Bloom Cycle (Bloom Phase) after you switch your plants to 12/12.
