Purple Pics

Do you remember @Bud Love ?
He christened it that.:cheesygrinsmiley: I Miss him.
He asked how I get such big girls?
I said Gorilla Glue clone thread air pots.
After adopting it exactly, he started blowing things through his roof.
He called it the " Bill284 Method ".
So I'm going with that as a nod to my buddy. :ciao:
If you have looked at one picture in this journal you will see soil everywhere.
Literally everywhere, I mixed it last spring and more this spring.
Dam I love you! coco. hehe Do you read any of my stuff?
Never again.
Did you see the 50 GALLON POTS.
And this is a sponsored grow.
@Herbies Seeds has graciously contributed some of their fantastic strains.

After that maby I'll make a deal with them.
Who her is repping their Nutrients besides me right now?
Go @Remo Nutrients :thumb:

Duh. The coco question was dumb sorry. I’ve read every word of your dumb journal.    Yes I remember BudLove but I sort got here as he was fading away so I can’t say I ever got deep with him. Nice nod to your buddy, I was just giving you a hard time. You might mention, now that I’ve proven it (not that it needed proving) that if you grow an auto in coco - ANY auto - you’re going to get photo yields from it or much closer to that than your typical auto yield, like double at least to your normal. Problem is you’ll never want to go back to soil, lol. So, let me ask you this -
How does it feel now to you doing a big soil grow?

Ahhh bud love. I remember him, funny guy!

So, Jon & Bill, what kinda yields do you think an outdoor auto in 10 gallons of coco would get? I have a spare grow bucket I'm going to put outside for my 1st coco attempt...though oddly I'm nervous about starting that one

And yes, it'll be layered Bill style:cool:

I’ll tell you now if you’re talking for the outdoor monster grow a ten ain’t gonna do it. Think more like a 20. For real. Imagine hydro growth rates and sizes in soil. That’s coco. I’m doing a one plant tent grow in a ten next time. Outdoors with a long veg you need way more space and a watering system in volume. Ask Bill, he’ll tell you. I’m psyched to watch. You can’t mess up. Can’t overwater. Just constant and must be ph’ed to 5.8. That’s it. Watch the show.

Edit: forgot, yield. Can’t begin to imagine. It’s not going to surprise me if both Elora and Fulvia are a pound each or close. They’re only 7 footers. You’ll have 15 footers. 2-3 pounds is not out of the question.

Thanks Jon! I'm extremely curious on trying coco after seeing you and Bill using it. Ive got a bag of it ready to go.

it'll be an Autoflower in the coco....and it'll be an outdoor grow from start to finish (not counting seedling stage). Maybe eventually I'll do bigger than a 10 gallon, but ive got a spare "bucket company" bucket I'll put outside for the coco.

The tent will have its own three autos inside of it. Outdoor and indoor growing simultaneously this summer.

My outdoor photos are in soil, and are already off to a great start. They'll be finished in 50 gallon grow bags.

I'm a little lost to be honest.
Like I'm working blind.
No ppm's no ph ?
And the girls aren't growing like I'm used to.
Snails pace.
But itll get worse when I uppot.
Guessing when to water each plant trying to keep track of who was watered when.
Coco is so straight forward feed feed feed and then feed again.
Grow Grow Grow Grow then Grow some more.
Also they are light green??
Never grew a light green girl in my life.
Is the ph off ? Are my ppm's too low ? Fek Fek it's going to be a long summer. ;) I just want to hook up my light and open a bag of Canna!!!
When you move are you going to run any soil inside or you going to just grow big girls in Coco?:cheer:

Stay safe

Or are you just going to haul water like a donkey.
You can grow Massive girls in Coco outside you will just loose your mind trying to water them.
This is crazy I'm running soil and I've you two switched yo coco.
I'm going to see if I can order some, fek it I'm going switch back.
Want some soil?

Heya Bill!!

Oh for sure it'll be an automated feed system. That's the good thing with my hydro growing, I've got everything already on hand to put a quick system together.
You know the big bucket system in my tent? I have a spare bucket and sprayer manifold for it...so it's just going to be a matter of using a res and a spare pump...easy peasy.

I have no idea how you can keep track of that many at once! I'd loose what little bit of marbles I've left.

No no, you keep growing in soil this summer. It'll make @Jon And I feel better about the size of ours    . Just razzin ya my friend, but it is hilarious about how we've ventured into trying each other's methods.
Now...you and Jon need to get a DWC grow planned

Finally hehe. :ciao:
Post away right here Amigo.
That profile wall always confuses me.
Infact I think I found a message I missed somehow.
I think your right about the sledgehammer, I've never used it so I'm just going by what others have reported.
Now we know.
Remember the tooth I was mid root canal ? I broke it off last night Fek Fek.
I'm a hillbilly now.
Hope your having a great day.

I used to keep my ph at 5.8 for my coco. Then I read Dr. Coco say that some nutes uptake better when the ph is alternated between 5.8 and 6.2. That's what I have used in my last 10 plants and they have been the best I've grown so far.

Hey DeeBoy :ciao:
That's funny because if you look at the hydro chart lower is better than higher.
I think it depends on your nutrients their breakdown and possible microbial activity.
I found once I established a receptive microbial and fungal activity in my coco I could go off on occasion without an issue.
Infact the change in growth and health was impressive once established.
Where are your pic's?

no, I wish they would I'm debating getting really high before I go, But I'm afraid paranoia will set in rumor has it they will give me some Valium and Nitris I hope so. while we are talking If I fed mu plant a full dose of nutes last night how long will it take for them to start taking effect? I want to do a 3X flush this evening but if I am having a cal/mag deficiency would I be doing more harm not waiting or do more damage waiting? everytime I think I learned something I just open a whole new level of questions lol
take care bud ,I am Happy you arent in suicidal tooth pain , nothing worse

If you feed at 6.3 the nutrients are available immediately.
But it's soil so nothing actually happens for a couple days.
Just flush it and get it over with so she can eat again.
Oh shite I can't believe they aren't knocking you out.
CBD will prevent the paranoia.
Then a shit ton of eatables, that's what I did.

ok let me see if I understand this below my topsoil is a massive root system throughout soil after examing every root system of every plant I grew I am undtanding how the Tap root hits a point where the root not only down but everywhere and eventally forms a rootball so when I feed or water my plant it does not take long for the roots to take and absorb whatever, but it is going to be 3 to 4 days before I start to see the effects, depending what it is. am I on the right track?

I did do a 3x flush on that one plant the other looks good so my theory if it ain't broke don't fix it. Buds are starting form and look nice and so far this scrog is much easier than LST I cant wait till these 4 are done these are training grows I have I have 5 seeds of Granddaddy purple / Banner feminized Photo im gonna grow some real pot. ya can Tell I don't get out much Fri night smoked a few bongs hits so I ramble on a forum ,mmy how time have changed lol
maybe go fishing with the grandkids this weekend, Buy you have a great weekend
as you say stay safe :bongrip:

Good morning. :ciao:
The tap root shoots straight down.
But there are lateral growing feeder roots branching throughout the pot.
Eventually the circle the pot forming a " root ball".
Soil just takes a little longer to break down and absorb nutrients.
That's why I like coco, everything happens faster.
So it takes a day or 2.:cough:
Hope you enjoy fishing with the grandkids. :green_heart:

Stay safe
