So, Jon & Bill, what kinda yields do you think an outdoor auto in 10 gallons of coco would get? I have a spare grow bucket I'm going to put outside for my 1st coco attempt...though oddly I'm nervous about starting that one

And yes, it'll be layered Bill style

An auto in a 10 gal coco.
I'm not a fan of autos because of their inconsistency.
If you can get a strain to grow like Jon's I'm sure 6-8 ounces would be possible.
But I've seen them go into flower at 6" tall .
Weird feken buds on them too.
They look like pine cones.
Infact I thought I saw pistols on the one you talked me into growing.
It's on the kitchen table.
But I just did a dab and wasn't wearing my glasses.
That was last night before bed.
I'll check again today.

15 days old soil is biobizz light mix the 1 with the odd shaped leaves had a helmet for the first week and I took it off with tweezers. First feed yesterday 2ml biobizz grow to 5 litres and gave them 150 ml each which sat on top for a bit before going down the sides which after a day the soil still looks cracked at the side. had a lot of runoff too. Ph was 6.3 and ppm was 200. The pots themselves dont feel too light so going to check them tomorrow to see if they are light or not.

hey bill Hope ya had an awesome weekend I wanted to give my Jedi Ganga Master a little relief so I did more general postings. but ya ain't off the hook yet lol. other than Nute issues I have come a long way in 5 months. but I feel Im losing it on the last lap. the drying and the cure I have buds in jars and bags that smell like MR Ed food, good looking buds covered in Red hairs tight com pressed buds that remind me of the days walking alongside a tractor Bucking hay (that was some muscle-building work if I tried it today it would kill me.)

Tomorrow is the big day for the first time in 60 years I won't have any teeth. they are right we grow up and turn back into 200 lb babies. this week if I survive tomorrow, I have a ton of drying and curing questions. I did a lot of reading this weekend. there are so many theories and opinions out there it is very easy to get confused (for me waking up can be confusing) that's why you 420 pros are a game-changer. one quick question ,I have a wood moisture meter that will tell me how dry or wet a bud is in the middle, I have read anywhere between 10% to 60% bud humidity . I know about Snapping the stem But I dont have enough experience to put them in a jar or grove bag before they are too dry .jars and bags all stay at 58 to 65 % humidity . May I ask how you dry and cure? or Post that you recommend?

You know I bet it's in this thread that I posted my procedure.
I had a drying room.
I hung the branches after I cut off the fans.
In slowly bring the rh of the room down to 62%.
Then like you say snap the small branches.
When they snap I trim the buds and put them in jars.
Burp every day for a week.
Then every other day .
I put a little hygrometer in the jar.
It'll tell you exactly the rh of your buds.
62 & is what I aim for.
It's better to jar early and burp more than be too dry.

I'm doing OK, still on track and using my new found energy to decorate the entire flat, top to bottom, new light fittings, switches, door handles, taps, shelving - the lot!
Fekin knackered but it's starting to look less like a shitty flat and more like my place - it's the OCD in me lol

always 68 to 72 I am going to raise the room humidity to 50 - 60% I am modifying it somewhat like those gorilla cure bags

after I finish these 4 plants I am going to try to plan harvest (if mother nature allows) and try to have my tent free to do the drying. that worked real good for my first grow when I had small harvest first grow but it smelled and tasted great

Depending on how sticky your bud is you want to be careful with those racks as with past experience of using 1 the bud can have flat spots

If your using that rack you will dry in a couple days compared to hanging branches.
It's harder to judge.
Do you have the little hygrometer that goes in the jars.
I'd keep jarring some buds every 4-6 hours testing the rh.

lol funny you should mention that I used it on my last harvest but let it dry to quick but I did have square buds since it is so long I am considering cutting out every other section and putting one of those square sock hangers and hanging some buds in it .Square watermelons are cool; square buds not so much
