Prof's Lab: Diary Of A Bedroom Farmer

Lol the Laos should be high energy as well
I have hundreds of questions for you in regards to growing pure sativas and what to expect. I won't bore you today though. The seedling is only a few days old and it feels like it is going to get big. You can tell it is a sativa alright.
Flowers are looking gorgeous, Prof! Is the purple tinge a product of the lighting, or the plants themselves?

Also, I'm never complaining about my RH ever again
Thanks sye. The tinge is the result of the camera trying to adjust the colour temps. The camera is getting old and is falling apart and shots on normal mode don't seem as crisp and clear as they used to be. The shots also seem to be really bright so most of my pics are with the brightness turned almost right down.
When I use the colour correction mode the shots look cleaner but have the tinge which I think is because the camera is confused as there are two colour temps being used in the same space.
A few of the plants do have purple hues coming through though.

The humidity was literally off the chart lol. I got up this morning and checked and it is 65%. Crazy weather!

Look forward to seeing more of the Laotian! Exciting. Pure sativas are basically impossible for me given my space. So I'll have to do it vicariously through you and @Pennywise and others here on 420.

I'm just getting my toes in the water with some of the more popular cultivars, so pure sativas seem like a world away!

That makes sense about the camera.

RH is such a nightmare. I'm still battling the lights-out RH in my tiny space. Am waiting for the off-season here to shop for a new dehumidifier..

I wouldn't go taking any advice from me just yet lol. I have the space issue as well. We need to keep it to 1.5 meters or we will be in trouble. I will be getting a little practice with the Malana Creams which are ready to flower now.

The RH is now at closer to 50% and I can feel the buds drying out. I'm still waiting on the dehumidifier to turn up but I think we have survived this one.

If you’re expecting a runaway plant run her at 11/13 from the start
I was going to observe it veg first then take a clone and run it 12/12 from a fresh cutting. Lighting times was one of my questions lol. 11/13 it is!
Is a smaller pot advisable to contain root growth or would giving it space be a better idea?

Mines in a 2 gallon pot and is over five feet tall that’s 11/13 from the time I saw first roots on the clone
Well, that is certainly some info which could save me some embarrassment. I was always going to approach this one with caution though I think I may have let the Malana's get a little too big. For some reason they don't intimidate me quite as much even though they can still reach 4m in height.

Laos you need to think Thai because a lot of the Thai Stick back in the 70’s was actually grown next door in Laos.
I'm fairly certain that it is going to be big so I'll flower it from a small cutting.
Hiya Prof :ciao: just makin the rounds and congrats on the dehumidifier coming. I think you’re gonna be happy you’ve got one moving forward.
It's still not here yet but I have just managed to dry the Wedding Cake. I was worried that it'd be flavourless after being submerged in liquid air for the past couple of weeks but it tastes fantastic. Mrs F became impatient and purchased some the other day. Just for fun I will do a comparison of what I can produce vs what I can buy. Grower for life!
I will be over to check out the garden soon. Just have to get a Barneys update done.

Bet yours is better than the dispo weed.
The purchased stuff tastes very wet despite being drier than mine. I'm guessing they skipped the cure. You can't see much frost on it either. It also has the hay flavour we all love so much lol.
