It has been a while since I have posted anything in regards to the plants which are outside. You must be thinking that they are coming along now but wait for it....no
I have decided that either my homemade soil's are not suited to cannabis or that the elements are to extreme for them at the moment. I dont think that the weather has been too bad but the amount of good light which they have all received has been inconsistent. They have also been through a couple of storms. One I saved them from but for the most part they have been sat out in whatever the weather.
The soil for the Auto and the fems was my homemade compost mixed with coco. The fems met a toddler though and were put into some cannabis potting mix which had been composting for around a decade or more. Now, the thing is that the plants dont actually look too bad, it is just that they seem to be suspended in time. The auto is doing better than the 2 fems but she is very slow. There are no signs of flowering yet so she may still avoid becoming a Spog. The White Widow still looks pretty rubbish but she always did. The Blueberry Cookies though which started off much better has come to a standstill but looks healthy. It is all a bit baffling as I'm just winging it. I looked at some ways to make homemade potting mixes online without having to spend anything and it seemed pretty logical so I thought id give it a go. I also have a lot of other plants in my garden in containers with several different homemade mixes and not surprisingly there are varying results though for the most part it is all good. I lost a lot of plants to powdery mildew like all of my cucumbers and most of my tomato plants but the cannabis survived that. There was a week of mist and that was all it took.
The cat struck again. I looked out of the window and saw my little friend eating the leaves on the autoflower lol. I chased her off and she hasn't been back to it since but it was a close call. There is nowhere I can put it out here where it is safe from anything lol. There were slugs on it the other day so I flicked them all off. I have also removed some aphids from it and now check everyday for them. Growing outdoors is a war! lol Lets see what they look like....

You won't believe this but I just walked past my plants which were sat on the window and a slug has eaten one of them. I will tell you which one in the morning when I get up.

Hey 420. There was a terrible crime committed last night and it is time to show you what happened.
We had a hungry visitor who marched right across all of the seedlings which you selected and decided to eat....
One of the Caremelo regs....
That was my favourite out of the 2 as well lol. Oh well. You guys were so lucky. It went in between all of the other seedlings and ate the entire stem of this poor little thing.
Now I know that your not supposed to promote competition entry's but here is my candidate for SotM (slug of the month)....
That seedling didn't stand a chance lol

Lol, that slug would probably only make Slug of the Day at my house. They're a real problem here. They normally come out after rain but it was dry last night so I didn't think anything of having the window open. It'll only happen once lol
I did think about that briefly but instead went with some poetic justice. It is now sleeping with the fishes and prawns at the bottom of the homemade fertiliser barrel. It ate one of my plants so now my plants are going to eat it.

I've seen the Mimosa EVO. Looks terrific but its sativa dominant so I'll pass
No more sativa dominants for me. Maybe if I can get some auto seeds.I am using some fine mesh screens on my windows. People attack these screens on a frame and mount that on your window. You can use that mesh as a second window with a frame and two hinges. No bugs or stuff can come inside your growzone then.

Well, it is about time I spilt the beans. Today we had a situation and I'm not talking about the slug. No. This is a bit worse. Instead we had a case of damping off affect at least 3 seedling. There may even be a 4th but I can't quite tell yet. The Kandy Kush, OGKZ and C-Vibes all went south but so did the Big Toof though that one looks to have recovered. They were fine in the morning but by lunch time they had leant over and looked suspicious. The OGKZ has completely melted and didn't even get to fully stand upright. The Kandy Kush was looking all good but then just fell over and has since started to decay. The C-Vibes didn't sprout and I just sat there looking like it will go any second. The 4th one which I'm not certain about is the Sweet Candy. It looks like it could go either way but I'm sure I will know by the morning. Well all I can say is sorry guys. I don't know what it is about HH and VG but I keep killing there favs lol. I'll Try and sort out some pics to show you some of the devastation. I bet it was that slugs fault!

The Kandy Kush. I tried to support her but it was no good. You can see her stem disappearing....
The C-Vibes actually looks a tiny bit better than earlier. We'll see....
The OGKZ has completely melted. Itll take more than a drop or two of H2O2 to fix that....
Then we have MrS Sugar Candy bent over looking like a flamingo. If it is standing in the morning then we are good...

I did this earlier....
Dr Professor MD (medical deviant) strikes again! I thought I'd try and soften the blow by seeing if I could revive these to use as potential back ups. They are now out of the soil and into coco. They look happier already.
