Kandy Kush chosen by @Heavenly Hybrid :)

It is time for a veg tent update as its getting confusing and cramped in there lol....

First up I forgot to take any pics of the Caramelo's that popped up the other day....
DSC01232.JPG

They're small and need some more light. For the moment they are happy and will have to sit tight for a little while longer....

The experimental clones are still alive and although you can't see it properly in the pics I think that the one in the dark jar is doing better than the other 2. It has drank about a centimetre of water already so we are doing something right. The other 2 are still going as well and I will try and clean them up a little soon....

The mothers are in need of another trim but I had intended on letting them veg until they are put into flower next week. The Fat Purple seems to be growing the best at the moment even outdoing the Tropicanna Banana though I think that the TB will explode once it has been flipped to 12/12.

Somehow I have to fit another 8 plants in here shortly lol. We'll work it out.

The bottom fed coco plants have had a decent trim recently. There were so many bud sites disappearing into the shadows that I thought I had best step in before it was too late. It meant that I got to take all of the plants out of the tent but I didn't get any pics of that. I know, I'm an idiot. I have given them all a good check for things like pollen sacks or mould and we are in the clear with both. All these ladies are healthy as can be. Another thing worthy of mentioning is that I haven't been keeping up with the flushing and after looking at how healthy they look I dont think I will bother to do another one. I did 2 earlier in flower but haven't done one for around 2 or 3 weeks now. The pots are covered in a salty layer and there are roots growing right through it like they just dont care. The roots are so abundant on some that its difficult to tell the difference between the salt and all of the root tips sticking out of the bottom of the pots. I'm going by what the plants are telling me and they are currently saying that they are very happy. I have only found the smallest amount of tip burn, the leaves are a nice shade of green and the plants are frosty and look to be on track with the breeders recommended finishing times. Why fix something which isn't broke....

all of the strains are pretty much impressing me at this stage. after I got them out of the tent and gave them a trim I got to see some for what they really are. The Phantom Cookies Domina is one that I've not really focused a lot on so far but that plant is really impressive. It is so branchy and probably has the most flowers on it. There's not much of a smell coming from her yet but that doesnt really mean a lot at this stage. I'm still impressed with the Crumbled Lime's and it is getting difficult again to decided which one I like more. #1 has the grease and the smell whereas #2 has the structure and looks overall better to me. Both plants are very easy to grow and look like they will finish first to me. Both of the Exotic Genetix strains are still doing very well also. Double D's has excellent albeit small colas and the Hoe Down has more spacing between flowers. I think that if both plants were the same size then the DD would have a much higher yield than her buddy the HD. The HD has very pretty flowers beginning to develop though and the trichs are starting to stack. French Macaron and StarCake are the last two strains in the grow. Again, both are doing great and are on track. The FM has a better helping of slick oil coating her leaves and is getting better each day. The menthol and eucalyptus smell has calmed down a little and is becoming more familiar. after seeing Lew's I'm pretty excited about how that one turns out. It is a Platinum cross so I expect it to be pretty good. That's about enough from me. let's see what the plants look like on flowering day 44....

Hey Prof your bottom feeding in coco is working out wonderfully! They are all very happy and seem to be loving every minute of it.

Love the cloning experiment with the clones in water. I think you have something there with putting them in the dark jar bet she will have the jar full of roots in no time!

Thanks N. I'm having better luck with the water cloning than I am with the other clones in the coco. I've just lost another one that was in the pots with coco. I pulled the cutting out and the stem had rot on it. It was a Tropicanna Banana clone as well lol. it would seem that the cuttings in the larger yoghurt pots are doing better than the cuttings in the small pots.
I have some good news for you. Check out the next post.

Sorry MrS. The conspiracy continues lol. I think that you might have jinxed yourself.

Well it is vote time again folks. As by now some of you may know that I'm a bit of a party animal and today I offer you the chance to cancel the "mother plants flowering send off" grow. I wouldn't be doing this unless I had something awesome to offer you instead. So here is the question.

Would you rather see the Fat Purple, Hashplant D, Critical Jack and the Tropicanna Banana mother plants flowered as soon as the Barneys grow is finished up?

Or would you rather see this....
DSC01287.JPG

Barneys new and unreleased autos run instead?

I apologise for giving you guys these choices. One day I will learn to think for myself.
