I saw that sy was a TED user. How is he? I saw that he had to pack up shop pretty sharpish. Hope he's ok.
You just made me look out the window.I'm safe! And not too far away
Salve bin? I would definitely defol that tent before you end up with a bad surprise.Maybe another heavy defol but those leaves are Cake in frost already. What to do?!?!
We have plenty of flowers at the moment just ticking along. It is my least favourite time of the year for growing but it hasn't been too bad recently.
Birthday Cake....
Double D's....
Silver Bubble....
Thanks Boo.Looks marvelous over here Prof!
I think you are probably right. I can't believe that the Orangesicle hasn't toppled yet. It's 160cm tall lol. Removing that first load of leaves opened up the plant, providing light and airflow but it also removed a lot of weight which is why I think we're still standing.Salve bin? I would definitely defol that tent before you end up with a bad surprise.
Hey HG. Pretty much mean the UK's late summer and autumn period. It's hot, humid and raining and this is the time of year when I'm most likely to lose a good slice of the crop to botrytis. Last year wasn't too bad and I caught it early but the year before was a disaster. I lost huge flowers which were rotten to the core.I always assumed this was your favourite time of year for growing since you only tend to post photos taken during flowering. Why isn't it your favourite?
Why thank you. My first piece of advice for good pics is getting a good camera. I really need a new one as mine are incredibly temperamental. The stabilization is broken in the digi which means that even the slightest wobble will cause the picture to vibrate.Other than that, I think you could give Brett Blaze a run for his money on these flower photos. You definitely have a talent. I'm hoping to learn how to take better photos at some point.
Oh yes, the joys of moving lol. Thankfully it's not too far away and it's right by the seaside which I know you would like.Moving, eh?
Sounds super fun.lol
It will be good for the kids though from the sounds of it. Hope it goes well for you. I know what a headache moving can be.
The twinsies shot has some PhotM potential. Did you get any closer pics?
Lol. Cheers GDB.Looking fruitful, Professor.
Your big tent proves that two's company AND two's a crowd!
I remember. Just imagine what that would look like now!Oh yes, the joys of moving lol. Thankfully it's not too far away and it's right by the seaside which I know you would like.
That was the only pic I got of them before the surgery. You'll be happy to know that at 10:46 this morning they were separated successfully. It was a case of double helmet head!
I'm not sure if they're joined at the root or not but it doesn't look like it to me.
Lol. Cheers GDB.
And to think that I thought we could have gotten away with a third in there. Classic naivety!
Carnage!!!I remember. Just imagine what that would look like now!
You'll never guess what happened. We ended up with botrytis lol. The thing is that it didn't develop where yourself and I thought that it would. It turned up on the Birthday Cake in the smaller and considerably less crowded tent. It's bad though.Okay Professor, you win the CTOTM* contest hands down!
Excellent frost in those pics so I can see why you're hard pressed to trim, but losing some sugar is better than losing some buds.
*Crowded Tent of the Month
Hey HH! I expected to get hit during this grow at some point but this plant took me by surprise. We're still some time off from harvest yet so I'm not sure what we'll be left with by then.Sorry to hear about the mold Prof, I’m glad you could salvage some good tops. I’m excited and relieved for you to not have to grow for the wolves anymore (soon!) I’d imagine it will be a big load off your plate.
Congrats on the new journal, I’ll pop over there now!
Hey HG! It's that mouldy time of year again I'm afraid. I literally get hit every year with it. Last year was the Tashkurghan and some of the other plants in that round. Then the year before it was the Barney's Farm grow. That was a bad one. I'm a little more than anxious about this packed out tent which we have at the moment. The Barney's Wedding Cake has big buds which I feel I may never get to use.Sorry about the mould, Prof. We found some on one of our outdoor plants this morning. Fortunately, ours was just the bottom of one bud and has now been removed.
Good luck with the upcoming move. I have no idea who "the wolves" are but I'm happy you won't have to deal with them any longer.
I'm headed over to your new journal now. If you're moving soon, why are you starting a new grow/journal?
Not sure about the Lemon Bubble but Double D's often get damp in the crease under the big buds, so good to keep an eye out.The Double D's and Lemon Bubble seem ok at the moment but I'm watching like a hawk.
You mean "in 5 years" yes? We would miss you terribly if you took a break from growing for 5 years! Then I'll be having the first break in growing for 5 years while we move home.
This time though I won't have any wolves to cater for
