It's all good , I dont feel old or grizzled, like Statler and Waldorf those old Muppets in the Balcony.. I havent smoked pot since 1986 because the job wouldn't let me. So as soon as IL went legal both medical and recreational I decided to jump back in because i missed all the good times I had back then.. But what happened is that being away so long, when I returned I noticed I have become detached from the new scene,-generationally gapped from what is up and coming-trending,, I haven't been gapped out from the music because I've kept up with it. I think the best music produced so far has been between years 2003-2017 but that's just personal opinion.. The way I enjoyed smoking pot in the past was getting couch locked and throwing on a pair of headphones getting all zoned out and drooling from the corner of my mouth lol..super F**king wasted for 5 or 6 hours.. Nascar- auto racing NO!.. You are dealing with a devil in the details competition wood carver who specializes in North American game fish Trout, Salmon Bass mostly, and creates his own metal armatures so the fish carvings look freely posed not nailed down to a piece of drift wood as the base.. You get more points for carving open mouth, molding and painting your own fish eyes instead of purchasing them.. That's kept me busy when i was away from pot.. Now if I have to label myself I'm a creative type graphic artist soil hugging Hippie Jerry Garcia type.I am your age and grumpy as hell. You remind me of an old friend I met a long time ago named Racefan. He had the same style. Outspoken and sometimes a little rough on people with thin skin. Awesome friend and grower he was. I'm going to follow you if you don't mind.

Regenerate clones don't work well with that. Way to bushy. I did a small seed grow last year of WW. Now I have a ton of them but they are a bit unstable. Started like 50 this yr and culled down to 5 with good traits. I did some crosses a long time ago in the early 2000s. Time consuming but fun as hell. I think we love growing moreso than using sometimes. It's so relaxing and rewarding at the same time. Do you have a thread on this? I'd love to follow. Also, have you considered making fem seed? I really want to try that. I tried going to your signature link but it's not working???? I'd love to see your grow.

If I'm checking myself which i often do to see if I'm being a D**k or just keepin it real, I have to realize that I'm probably being prejudiced and not open and accepting to someone else's joy-passion and not as open as I should be, and that's on me, My Bad.. I totally embrace your friendship, along with everyone else here in the group ..Yur totally welcome to follow me.. I'll be updating the journal sometime today after water change. My grow area is constantly evolving and probably going through a couple more changes as I settle into a growing system. PS, If I get on yur nerves, just tell me to Go F**K Off, but do it with a smile .
Large Mouth Bass power carving. Everything is carved from Bass Wood ironically..icluding rocks, twister tail worm, MDO sand base. Fish is mounted to base via custom metal fin armature. No shlockey driftwood mount..
Power carved Bluegill Group features metal fin armatures giving the illusion of fish suspending.
Good to hear mom is okay. Pardon me for chuckling a little. It's funny but not funny. Them damn stings can kill a person quick if allergic. Paper hornets got me once and I had a reaction. Closed throat and hives all over. I'd been stung many times both here in the states and by venomous insects in central America with no problems. One paper hornets and the world damn near ended..lol.The signature is not a link but tells people what i'm up to presently. Go to Journals in Progress, It's under Anthony Suszko: Tony's First Grow.
So here's a funny story.. while im writing this my 83 year old mother is outside screaming getting attacked by a swarm of bees receiving over 10 stings and dropped out passing out in the kitchen .. Good news is shes OK now EMT's releasing her.... That's how my day is going lol...
All this time I thought I had 3 females the male didnt show his nut sac's until the 3rd day of darkness in 12/12.. I should have got the hint it was a male because he just stopped growing when reaching a certain height.. So I may be able to sog much earlier than expected now.. May need some help deturmening when the male is ready..
It's funny because 10 stings can take out a full grown horse.. Old Polish lady still strong like bull..Good to hear mom is okay. Pardon me for chuckling a little. It's funny but not funny. I remember you saying you were trying to produce some seed. I did some of that last year and have a ton of f2 white widow beans. More than I'll ever need. Years ago I did a lot of breeding for fun and it was just that...fun. I'm going to check out your setup later. It's always fun to see others work.
Yeh That's why I called the EMT's 911 right away especially with an 83 year old. Nothing to mess around with.. I was going to water plants around the side of the house with my Spent MC water change but now screw that, its going in the sump pump well and I'm staying indoors today..It's funny because 10 stings can take out a full grown horse.. This seemed to be a new strain I've never seen before, about half the size of a regular bee and seemed to be very vicious and maybe Africanized like a hybrid, did not resemble a common yellow jacket or honey bee variety.. was sleek and streamlined resembling a forest horsefly in shape.

Bro hugs all around..I can feel you also ,We just found common ground and started a friendship and that's what it is all about! Cheers! -Za Twoje zdrowie and ( to your health!)I like you Tony and after reading that bio I like you even more. In many ways you've just described me as well. I too feel out of touch with this generation sometimes but I think that's just life. Your art is absolutely amazing. Thanks for sharing that. You are certainly talented. I gotta say I am a bit envious of your state and the freedom it has given you. Many of us still have to hide in the shadows and that's just not right. My state has some of the most extreme penalties for mj in the country. Even if it goes legal nation wide I could see this state fighting to keep it illegal. Anyways, I could go on for days about that but what's the use...lol. I followed ya tony and I'm going to go check out your thread today. Maybe we can both learn something from each other. Have a good day.
Noticed that my res water was on the warm side and its down in a very cool basement.. I'm totally an advocate for low tech, sometimes it just feels like a no brainer.. Is there anything to remedy that or is it just a thing ?No worries PK. Those tips will smoke just fine. When I got into dwc all I had to work with was drops to check the pH. No tds meter was used. If you can believe that. All I did was pH the water and slowly increase the nutes until I saw tip burn. Then backed off a little. Just changed res water weekly and all went well.
Simple low tech grow. I may just run a bubbler in my box when I get it built this fall. One way to keep down res temps is growing in the winter. Just need a fishtank heater n ur in there. Another good additive for the res is h2O2 hydrogen peroxide. HERE is a very good informative article. It is great for soil as well.
In this large box I used to have I ran into some higher res temps initially. I was in a cool basement too. I added a extra bubble wand. Cut a hole in the bottom so that the res sat right on the cold concrete. Then got 3" thick styrofoam from Lowe's and added it between the plant and the res. The 2 400w lamps were giving me the heat. I eventually added more ventilation at the end of that grow.Noticed that my res water was on the warm side and its down in a very cool basement.. so it's basically a reaction i should just monitor .. I had just raised it up to 5GPG running a 6 gallon res.. but noticed it was doing the same thing at 2GPG.. I have the flexability to play around with 2 extra gallons, and could dilute the mixture that way adding just fresh water? In this large box I used to have I ran into some higher res temps initially. That setup worked great at keeping the temps down.
Your doing a rdwc right? I dunno much about that setup. If your in 5 gal buckets maybe you could wrap them with some insulation.so it's basically a reaction i should just monitor .. It's a low tech 8 gallon garbage can and only need to fill it up to 6 gallons to hit the pots.. I'm using a small pond pump with the venturi turned up to create surface turbulence air bubble stream across the pots and its also circulating the water evenly throughout the can, something that a standard air stone wouldnt be able to do.. here is a quick update on the clones.
Two out of three has started to grow new leaves. also, i was able to get the temps down with new configuration. fans and shades to the rescue. Currently temp at 27c what is that 80-81ferenhite and at 60% RH
it be awesome to MacGyver away so that i don't have to constantly fill up the humidifyer.
