VEG ROOM UPDATE

Hi everyone!

Hope all are well and warm. Big news today! As I'm sure you noticed in my tutorial I have a new girl on the way! With the anticipation of Jabb's Stash coming out of the flowering room I will be adding a new one to the flower room as well as plant a seed. This should keep the perpetual thing going!

Take a look!

PINEAPPLE EXPRESS
I think I will leave her in veg for a few more weeks and get those nodes nice and strong. I want to blow this girl outta the water and get the most out of her.

HOLLANDS HOPE 2.0.2
Second last girl of the Holland dynasty. She's doing very well! I'll keep her nice and small until she's ready for flower. I've topped her once and she loved it.

re: Rex Pigeons Flies the Coop & Goes Perpetual in 2015

Its nice to see someone doing it the proper, oldschool, natural way!

Tho i giggled alittle at step 3, you wont touch the seed, but youre still touching the dirt..which is touching the seed. Start using that pencil to push dirt over the seed :blalol:

Thanks for the mini tutorial!:thankyou:
And i agree... MoTY:Namaste:

Why thank you!

And you're absolutely right! You should use a pencil to cover up the dirt! I feel that direct contact with the oils on your skin and the seed are the worst but precautions are always necessary!

re: Rex Pigeons Flies the Coop & Goes Perpetual in 2015

Oils and general contamination. Most people dont think about it, nor do they wash their hands. Baby seedlings dont have much for an immune system and can get sickly easily. Likely the cause of the majority of dampening off. (no expert, what ive been told and read)

re: Rex Pigeons Flies the Coop & Goes Perpetual in 2015

I agree completely! It's these little precautions that can save a grow. I can't stress enough how important it is to keep your shit clean! It's always a good idea to wash your hands, grow room, cure jars, everything! We're dealing with a medicine here and personally I don't want any contaminates.

Agree with your germination technique,, tap roots are so tender,, folks have no need to play with such things,,

This technique has never failed me, yet,,, 12 for 12 or so,, not many, but a hunerd percent is a hunerd percent,, i think,,:Namaste:

Cheers pidger

Thanks Nivek!

I've had a great success rate with this method. I pretty sure it's a 100%. The only times I've lost seeds was to my own issues. I either burnt them or didn't give them an honest shot at life.

Morning big guy!

10 SECOND TIDY

I decided since I had some free time I would do a quick little clean up. The girls typically come out for a watering like this once a week but I don't always take advantage of the that time and do a scrub. In all honesty I haven't scrubbed my grow room since the beginning of this journal. Which was May!! So, there's no time like the present to give it a scrub.
I can't stress enough how important it is to keep your grow room clean. We're dealing with our medication here! And even at best you can say you use it recreationally (which is still on some level medically, in my opinion) you're still ingesting it. So, why wouldn't we want to take as many precautions as we can to ensure we are dealing with a somewhat sanitary product.. Enough with that I know we all get it. Consider it a reminder. I wish I was reminded more often :P

First I vacuumed and then it was to my hands and knees and I scrubbed the entire floor. Unfortunately because of my mylar blankets as walls it's tough to clean that. So I gave it a pat and vacuumed as much as I could. (Someday soon I'm going to do a massive renovation, again, and change these walls up to white!)

Keep it clean people!

FRIDAY FLOWER UPDATE

HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!!

Time sure flies when you're having fun! I hope the holidays are going well for each of you. I know that this time of year can be crazy for families but remember it's who you surround yourself with that really matters. You're each important and beautiful and you have so much to offer this world, don't forget that. Lots of love

The girls are watered and picture perfect. Here we go!

JABB'S STASH
There's not much left of her but she is really looking juicy! Those buds are very resinous and ready to explode! I took a look through the scope and seen still a few clear trichomes so, I'll give her a few more days.

HOLLANDS HOPE 2.0
I have a feeling she's going to be something special. She looks a bit awkward but she's staying at the perfect height and size. Bring on the buds! The pistils are really taking off now to!

OG KUSH (Auto)
She looks very similar to the OG Kush I grew earlier. I suppose that's what I should expect but it's great to see in person. This is the first time I've grown the same strain at different times.

HOLLANDS HOPE 2.0.1
Welcome the newest member of the flower room. She is going to be another non-trained heart breaker. It's a beautiful strain and I'm anxious to see them take off it all forms!

WHITE WIDOW XL (Auto)
Coming along nicely. I'm noticing a deficiency in her but at this she's close enough to the end I'm not going to worry about it. I have a hard time with plastic pots because they take so long to dry out. I often either over or under water or feed because of this. I'll let her do her thing.

Well that's all folks! Keep warm and positive and spread some love. :thankyou:

Busy boy I see, wow man everything looks wonderful over there in your world!:thumb: I did the same thing the other day, cleaned the piss out of everything too, esp considering that scrog I have hanging off the back wall had harboured a couple hermi s and never got properly cleaned! Ooops! Wonder how long pollen stays active for....?

re: Rex Pigeons Flies the Coop & Goes Perpetual in 2015

Same as me man. I can't get them to work if I do it from my phone. I have 2 that aren't working either. Gotta take it to the computer. Stupid things!
