Talking about temp for a second.

So I have a 8in inline fan right now on the top of my tent blowing out. I was going to purchase another one and have it at the bottom opposite side to bring air in.

I wasn't going to do a carbon filter im in a medial state but growing is not legal. I dont need to hide it but for cases as you mentioned it may be a good idea. maybe something i add down the road.

Should I return both the inline fans and just get the one CLOUDLINE T6? or will the 2 inline fans be okay.

I have that one desktop fan and one large fan ill take a picture tonight in the tent now at opposite ends.

Im right now exporting the air back into the room with the window open. I was thinking about venting it out the window but people mentioned maybe their are planes do thermal runs and look for that kind of stuff. So was thinking maybe another fan in that room pushing air toward the window?

Or i can move this whole setup to the garage where its a lot colder but the lights would work and heat up the tent way better tossing that idea around as well. My wife would appreciate that idea lol. But its def colder.

Seems like I made a huge mistake going with this supersoil. I researched watched some videos it looked straight forward even talking the the company that sells the product informed me running the pot dry or close to dry then watering was the way to use this supersoil and coco mix. I did research this and it looked pretty simple but from the comments in my grow it looks like I must of misread lol....


My main goal for this grow was to try to just do a water only but it looks like thats quickly turning into a nute grow which is fine it is what it is.

There are ways to go about doing so, but it's way more into it that what you've found. A good water-only soil is going to take a few months to cook up and get ready to go. Even then you're going to use "teas" as people call them, which is what? Yep, supplemental nutrients. Not a ton, but they will be used.

Just went to my local grow store they only have PROMIX BX not HP. and almost everything else was Hydro or coco soils. I need to figure out a medium and quick. Ill see if i can prime something in 2 days along with nutes. I heard great things about the GH box set nutes from friends.

Yes, that's the correct product. Figure out how many pots you'll have, then figure out how much promix you need. If the BX from the hydro store is significantly cheaper (prob not), then it would be ok to use that. Did they have sunshine mix #4? That's the same thing.

Later on I can point you to a way to make your own promix, but that's too much to get a handle on when the clock is ticking on your grow.

(Also if you still have things in cups or small pots, this works out good as you'll have to transplant anyway.)

I get 6-packs of the ipower 1/8" ones for like $20, and use those for most things. I do have a particular light in my main 4x4 that I use 1/4" on, but it's more overkill than actual need. I got those as 2 pair, which was about the same as 6 pair of the others.

What 8" fan do you have? An answer to this question lies in your fan, and I can elaborate more once known. For now, I'll take a wild guess that it isn't a great one, and probably a bit noisy.

First, 8" is overkill on a 4x4. Look up the fan I mentioned earlier (the AC Infinity S6) that's $109 on the zon to your door. It's plenty, and absolutely made for this kind of thing. You were going to order another fan anyway, so unless that 8" is a bad ass hurricane or something, then get the S6 and you'll be real good.

Even in a legal state, I'm not sure you're realizing the powerful aroma that will permeate from your grow. We're talking blocks away to the unimpeded sniffer. That's a lot stronger than someone having a smoke, and it doesn't go away until the plants are down and everything airs out.

I strongly suggest getting one in the next week or two before it's really needed.

I would, yes. Then use the tent intakes as designed, and set up similar as I described.

If you want to vent to a window, there are “stealthy” ways to do it. I’ll see if I can dig up some links/pics to different ideas.

Well, that depends on several things. It won’t fly in the summer, unless you want to run an AC in there.

In the winter it may be alright, depending on how cold it gets. You may need a decent heater in the winter.

You could potentially move between rooms, if winter temps are feasible in the garage. Even when it's below freezing, my garage is still in the upper 50’s. Not bad, and would work with a tent to keep the heat in.

As for your most recent post, wait until you transplant.

man what’s cool is Amazon its letting me return the lights and both in-line fans and controller. So not a total lose.
Ok so ac fan what about this carbon filter they have a package. The second pic is the filter. Will the 2 extra straps hold both these or should I get 2 more?

Look for an ac infinity filter, phresh, can (that’s the brand), or black ops.

CO2 supplementation and you can run hotter temps...I had issues with condensation though because running an exhaust fan at the same time sucks out the CO2 and turning the fan off = no venting of the moisture....so you juggle...

Damn I knew I should have bought the AC and not the vivo sun inline fans.. I bought 2 4" on the zon for 25$ each. One for exhaust one for intake... Damn I can't return them what do I do with them? Backups for if the AC infinity S4 fails?

yes. You also don’t need an intake fan. Passive is where it’s at, and saves watts too.
