High High, :passitleft: I'm surprised I've never seen or stopped by your journal! I grow outdoors in summer but last year I started an indoor coco grow and I love it! I'll for sure be checking out this room. :yummy:Stay stoneder

Hey man I hope all is well. Things looking stunning as usual over in the garden.
Sorry to hear about your RH issues as they can be a PITA.
I also deal with very high RH growing in a Canadian basement in a swamp lol

The only things that help me is me is furnace and heaters. (Winter only)

In the spring/summer/ fall my room it’s all about airflow to prevent bud rot.
I run a booster fan on the floor and a 18 inch wall fan above my canopy. I crank up the exaust fan just to the point it doesn’t suck my paint of my walls. The dehumidifier parked right beside my air intake to my flower room and boom no bud rot for me for years now.
It took me a few years to figure out this marriage of equipment but now it’s mint time and time again.

Every space is different and with enough tinkering I sure in time it will all come together.
Looking good and I will have to get caught up but your plants look wonderful.
play safe and enjoy my friend.

Hey buddy great to see you hear I've certainly missed you're chats.

Honestly mate the humidity problems I've had this year has devastated my grows, first one this year wasn't too bad with around 5% rot then the second and third grows I was loosing upwards of 30%+ and ever since I stopped scrogging its stopped happened lol but I am thinking of scrogging these next three plants, the flowering plants could have easily been chopped at 7 to 7.5 weeks.

Controlling humidity should be considered an Olympic sport haha.

I'll happily sell you some of my rh out my grow room lol half price Black Friday deal lol no I'm happier knowing it's below what it should be as some days I'm that ill I can't physically move and honestly it's heart wrenching watching plants or the environment suffer right in front of you but we'll hopefully get some great tasting buds as these plants have been grown entirely on bottled water from day 1 so hopefully we'll see a difference on that too.

Lmao that’s for sure. You know me I always scrog and try for a nug every inch I can grow one lol. I can watch my RH climb as my canopy closes over.
I keep my ladies clean below the belt and take out a ton of huge leaves along the way.
Because my RH is always way higher below the canopy as long as I keep the air moving up with the booster fan below through the defoliation it seems to be just enough to stop bud rot over here.

Then my air has a quick mix with the wall fan above my canopy clearing out any hot spots and out it goes with the exhaust fan.
Dehumidifier air intake booster fan and the cycle continues all the wile the dehumidifier never stops pissing water into my sump basin via plumbed in garden hose.
I will stop Rambling now as I feel like I’m reliving a old nightmare lmao.
However if anything I blab on about helps great lol. I have had many nightmares lmao.
Play safe and enjoy everyone

oh my ... get a RO Buddy or other RO filtering system. it takes some time but will pay for itself, and is a lot easier to play with than buying or refilling bottles.

i typically grow through lower rh conditions. were sitting at 40% right now, about 5% higher than what i usually see in winter here. 15 - 25% is not uncommon in january - feb. cracked lips weather. i don't actually use a humidifier, i just grow with the conditions as is.

edit : if you pull the trigger on an ro system make sure the filters and ro membrane are standard sizes and replaceable. some systems sell the filters in sealed cartridges so you have to buy over priced proprietary filters.

i have a hydrologic that still accepts standard cartridges and filters. cuts costs way back.

Good advice right here. I slipped on a cat carrying a bottle of water down the stairs. 3 week back injury and I went out and go RO and never looked back.

I don't mind getting the water as I live in a one floor apartment but you're both right I really need an ro system in for the better as even the bottled water has 200ppm+ already in it however this is specifically just minerals I'm sure.

I live and breathe pain lol my plants got harvested yesterday and the trim was going great then the pain kicked in and by the end the whole last plant or two may need another trim as I had to sort of rush the job or I'd of passed out in the tent which is happening quite often so instead of lying in my bud making it flat quickly hung them up.

The second you touch or break the buds open the amount of trichomes that flick everywhere is unreal but has anyone noticed the denser and harder the bud is the less sticker the bud is compared to less denser buds, I can't be the only one to think this right?
