John's First Indoor LED Grow

Damn blackburn! You’ve got some monsters! Not only outside but in your tent! It’s nice that the outside plants are pretty close to the inside plants in bloom. Make it nice come harvest time!

You’ve also got some pretty nice shelter around your plants it looks like! No eyes ogling into your yard!!

Looking fantastic! :thumb:

You deserve a break, kick back, put your feet up! And sip on your favourite choice of beverage! :thumb::welldone:

An update for anyone interested. These girls are staring on 3 weeks into bloom now. They are running me ragged feeding and grooming them but man are they growing. These pics are the Bruce banner.

I’m sorry, I know it’s the last photo, but I got completely distracted from your plants after seeing your boat!

Nice boat! :thumb:

Plants are looking great!! I’m blown away! Once those colas fully develop, you are going to have some massive colas on your hands! :bravo: Fantastic!

Lol yeah I imagine feeding/trimming them is one hell of a chore! Your doing great! Keep up the hard work!

Hahaha thanks, it’s a good boat and brings us a lot of fun.
And I think your right about the colas cause they look like they will be big

That’s gotta be what, a 16 footer? :hmmmm:
300 mercury engine?

Looks like loads of fun! Do you water ski/tube behind it mostly for the kids? Or is a fishing boat?:yahoo:

4 or 5 years ago, I bought my first boat, it’s a bit older, but it was perfect for the wife and I. 14 foot fibreglass, 1974 Polaris traveller, with a 55 evinrude motor.

The control throttle was stuck in gear for some reason, so it sat for two summers, found someone to rebuild my throttle, fixed it last year. Got it started, then I had to winterize it, as it was fall already at that time.

Never did get it out this year. Was too busy with the move. As the wife and I bought our first house here last May. So I’ve been super busy.

Next year I’d like to get my daughter out in the boat, she’s never been in it, and is now getting to the age of being able to go for rides with me

Sorry for the long reply.

they will be big

You got that right!! :thumb:

Haha your close it’s and 18’ with a 170 inboard merc. It’s a great boat and yes we have the tube behind it all the time but I have it all set for fishing as well. I actually just got the boat this summer and put a lot of work into it.
I spent 14 years in your wonderful province but the whole time I never had a boat. I did a lot of fishing in remote areas while I was working but that was about it. Hopefully you get some time to enjoy it next summer. So what part of Alberta are you in? I miss it there but I do enjoy having a life again haha all I did was work work work out there.

That does indeed sound like a great boat! :thumb: slightly jealous! Lol but no need to be, I’ll get there eventually (hopefully):surf:

That’s understandable to not own a boat while you were in Alberta, you did it right! Bought a boat in Ontario!! Way better for fishing/boating there. I’ve never been but I used to always catch my self watching the Canadian fishing channel :goof: (don’t have cable anymore). Don’t get me wrong there’s some great fishing here but nothing compared to Ontario.

I love fishing in cold lake, my dad grew up on the base so I used to spend a lot of time up there, not so much in the past three years but I love it up there!

I live south of Edmonton a lil ways. I work in Edmonton though. :thumb: Do the commute everyday.

What did/do you do for work when you were in Alberta? My guess is a welder? :ciao: Lol times are tough here inAlberta, work wise. Hopefully things start picking up a bit here. Even my trade has slowed down significantly!!

Ya I keep a close eye on things out there, i really hope things pick back up. I spent 14 years riggin all on drilling rigs. I spent a lot of time up in the range and your right there is some good fishing up there plus the wild life. I haven’t made it to all of our provinces yet but Alberta is my favourite so far.

I love to hear that! :thumb:

I’ve never worked the rigs, right when I was getting geared up to go, I landed a job doing what I’m doing now. Making pretty good money so I was happy with that.

Hopefully next year I’ll be able to buy a fishing license and actually use it lol, all this talk about fishing and wildlife got me itchin to go live in the bush haha :goof:

Haha me to I think I’ll go dip the boat in this morning
What a beautiful morning! Great looking yard, and a lovable looking dog!! Lol what’s your dogs name?

Is all that yard on the other side of your fence your property as well?

Enjoy your day on the lake!!

Ya that’s all out property down the hill and all river front, it’s really nice having all my fishing and turkey hunting in the back yard. That’s my big girl nala haha

Very nice piece of property! :thumb: Next time I’m in Ontario with my fifth wheel I know where to park my trailer! (Lol I’ve never actually been to Ontario, nor do I think my truck would pull the fifth wheel that far, it would probably die before I get to Saskatchewan:laughtwo:).

Well, hello Nala!:ciao:

Thought I’d put an update here. My indoor girls are now 33 days since the flip and this is how there looking. The buds from the 2 strains are starting to look very different and they do on the outdoor as well. Everything seems to be going good, I let them get a little to warm but aside from that I think there good?? I will post an update on the outdoor monsters tonight

Thank you! It’s been a fun first grow and I can’t wait to harvest!!

Now I have a question, my outdoor plants are clearly female and I don’t have signs that they hermied but when I was looking closely the other day I found 11 seeds. They were all from the same branch on the same plant. I took the seeds out for future use but my question is, is there anything I need to watch for or just let her do her thing??
