Something seems off. I see signs of the ec getting too high, whether through overfeeding or lack of water. Your g/gallon are within range it seems. I am going to suggest watering slightly more often to keep your medium moister. I wouldn't let them beg for water too much at this stage.

Or follow different advice than that which got you here. MC doesn't seem to me to be a just get you by nutrient at all, I love the results that I got on my first MC run and have absolutely no complaints about the nutrient itself... the results greatly resemble my organic grows! I am going to use it again! But of course you know, since you read my journals, that I do things a bit differently. If I were you, I would try it again... with a new mindset, and maybe different results. But, that said, each of us needs to find a system that works for us, and that will be the very best way to grow this medicine.

So what signs of EC do you see off? I want to know so I'll be able to identify this stuff. I don't check EC at all. I haven't been checking or adjusting pH at all. Everyone keeps telling me it's not necessary with MC. I'm starting to not like MC already. It's not producing like other nutes do in my eyes. A hell of a lot more issues also. I'll probably return to GH nutes after this. Too many problems with this shit for me. I don't want to spend my whole grow fighting issues that I don't normally get with other nutes. I'm starting to think it needs the BE & SC to not have these issues ... but not sure.
At this point though ... I'd give MC a Thumbs Down.

So far my best grows were with the GH line up so I'll probably go back to that. All this guessing whether to make MC stronger or weaker isn't for me. I just follow the feed schedule with other nutes & don't have all these issues.

Tons of burnt tips and curling down/distorted leaf tips, not sure if it's on all the plants, kinda hard to see on the tiny screen here..I don't think there's a way to measure ec directly inside the container other than runoff which seems unreliable to me. Ya I have heard the no Ph theory. Could be valid, since I think the total akalanity matters a lot more than ph. So it may work for some. Depends a lot on what's in your medium for buffer as well, sorry I am not up to speed on your operation here.

Just using FFOF soil & MC ... nothing more.

It's a tough call for sure. The MC is potent stuff I have found, and small changes makes a big difference. From what I've seen from using it I'd reduce MC or water a little more possibly if you are getting very dry. If she starts going pale you'll know to add more, easy fix in a couple days.. If you add more and it's already overdosing, you're doing irreversible damage. Just my two cents. :peace:

How much are you feeding her right now Buds? To me it looks like Mg def. I'm not sure why yet. What did the soil pH come in at again?
The GG was getting 5.5 gr., the Afghan was at 6 gr. & the Gorilla Girl was at 6.5 gr. I feed 1 gallon per plant every 2 days. At those amounts of MC run off pH came back at 5.6 for the GG, 7.5 for the Afghan & 6.4 for the Gorilla Glue.
I personally do not believe Run Off pH doesn't matter. How the hell can your plants take up the correct nutrients at certain pH levels if the soil pH is way off? For the past 3 years I've seen post after post of people asking what a growers Run Off pH is & telling people to flush & get the soil pH right before continuing. Seems it worked from what I seen in the journals. So in my book .... Run Off pH is every bit as important as the pH of the nutes. If others choose not to pH everything that's up to them. I'm pH-ing from now on. I doubt it will help much since I'm starting week 5 of flower but doing it anyway to see if things look better in the next week or two.
If it does ... then obviously it matters.

Does it make sense that the pH of one is truly so much higher than the other? Not to me. How would it get that way? What makes sense is runoff is a bunch of crap that was formerly in the container, which changes daily depending on what the plant is doing, now mixed in some completely unknowable ratio with whatever you just dumped in the top.

If anyone thinks you can correct the pH of your buffered medium by changing the pH of your nutes, they should look at this.

For the past 3 years I've seen post after post of people recommending that growers clear the nutes from their buds at the end by feeding nothing but plain water for two weeks, to improve the taste of their buds. Bro-science is not science no matter how many times it's repeated.
