Peyton's Sour Sky Hempy Grow 2014

Sort of what Obi said, you would have to do the un-nature-al things to two same but different plants to get a real answer. I only have one. I don't want to take my plant to my kitchen to boil roots. But darkness for an extra day doesn't do anything. Right now my tent is 93 degrees for the first time ever. That is a shock to her just like boiling those roots. Maybe it will send some plant chemicals up to help plant cool or it might send them down to get them into the cooler area of the rootzone. I don't know but it hot in my grow area now so 93 degrees it will be for her last day.
Any thoughts on that from you guys?

Well, LEDs go out in two hours. And there won't be any lights on til tomorrow around 1 in the afternoon, so it won't really be 24 hours. And they will be ordinary incandescent bulbs. I'll let you know the wet weight and a couple photos then. Just remember I won't know a dam thing about what I'm doing. I will take the fan leaves off and cut the sugar leaves short. and hang the lady up by her ankles. I'll leave her all together until she dries out a little, then I'll remove each bud and put each one into the jar I bought yesterday to cure her. I have my fingers crossed for good quality and a nice bit of quantity. Cross your fingers for my first ever grow.

If you got questions I'll be on tomorrow I might be able to answer.

This one's for you Stumped...

Fast & Vast Auto Seeds

Sometimes a cannabis strain comes along which needs no introduction and with Fast and Vast weed seeds the name says it all. These little ladies are simply incredible. As autoflowering cannabis seeds, we knew they would be easy to grow, but this is ridiculous. Fast & Vast can grow outside, but it's when you are growing cannabis indoors that you get the best results. Just 8 weeks after germination, harvests of 800g/m2 are easily achievable, yet the quality of the final product will blow your mind.

The Indica dominance comes at you like a freight train, fast and heavy, and then stays with you for hours and hours. Long thick buds boast a deep coating of crystals that make you think Fast & Vast had been maturing for months. While those sweet, spicy flavors ensure all the combination of White Dwarf, Afghani and Skunk come shining through. Heavyweight call Fast & Vast an auto, but it's not like any other we've ever experienced. It is heavy, it is powerful, it is incredibly high yielding and it tastes like a dream. In fact it is so good, it really should have a category all of its own and for any true connoisseur it is simply too good to miss.

Wild Jim you can't talk about seeds on this forum, its against the forum rules, lots of people get in trouble over it.

Thanks for giving me the heads up TrysHard. I am new here and thought I had read the rules, but they are so confusing I guess I just misunderstood them. I also put a photo of a Texas Star Hibiscus here that cannafan moved. I wasn't aware I couldn't put an "off topic" photo on this thread, that was involved in the conversation, either. Live and learn. Good thing because I have made mistakes all my life and most of the time I didn't get a spanking. But I won't do it again.

Yeah, it's hard for me to guess. I have my heart set on 2 ounces, minimum. But I'm afraid to say anything more cause I figure I'll be ridiculed. Well, that, and I honestly have no idea what would be an appropriate answer lol. I'm hoping the buds fatten up so they don't shrink down so tiny. But that's why I throw out 2oz as my number. seems reasonable, keeps my head out of the clouds.

I have no doubts you'll get that. Send me anything over.
Very reasonable goal. If it don't happen oh well.
I had 12 plants.. Ended with 1.... 12 grams for 3 months of work. That's embarssing ha!

Ok you guys I'm going to help out on this one. I have six identical plants, I wasn't going to do the water boil thing because I couldn't get to the back plants very easily, and didn't want to pour boiling water on my foot. But I can get to the front ones pretty easily. I will sacrifice one of my plants in this experiment. It will be the one currently growing the bud I call Nice Bud on the far left. This way we can put it to bed, I can't seeing it hurting my plant and if it does make a difference this should tell us.

Its still against the law to ship seeds in the US technically. They can't be seen as promoting that. Also the other pretty tight rule is to keep the conversations MJ related. If you get totally off topic, there are forums for that in the lounge. At least that was what I was told.

Living up to your name lol

I know it won't hurt the plants, all kinds of people do it. But I can't see it increasing quality.

I'll be watching yoiur journal as always for results!

I read the forum rules and did not find anything about not talking about seeds. If I am wrong please show me the place in the rules. The only thing I did that could be or might be against any rule is that in the passage was the name of the seed bank. I will remove it if I cna still edit the post. But it is not against the rules as I read them to talk about seeds. You can only reference seed banks if they are a sponsor. Thanks for the up anyway.

Lol I'm getting email updates from older posts lol.
Jim I'm not saying putting the plants in darkness or boiling will hurt the plants. Many people do it. But I don't see how 20 min of boiling or 24 hours of dark, such miniscule time in comparison to the grow cycle to cause any significant effects.

If it is meant to stress the plants, isn't the synonymous to hurting, in a fashion? I agree with what you are saying. I am keeping the lights out just to do it. Like being a good boy before christmas... just in case? lol First time I ever wrote lol anywhere in my entire online life which is pretty dang long, so please don't misunderstand that I'm only joshing you, eh?
