Right now the only thing blocking light is the upper fans, but once it starts filling in again that lower stuff will lose light quick. Thanks skunny, I'll be picking away at her for a while now. I just want her to be 8 colas, no popcorn. That's the nice thing about rotating the plant 90 degrees every day, light hits lower stuff different each day. Don't mind the ugliness of her, she got windburn pretty bad the other day, and the lower stuff didn't have light for a long time, so it got crinkly like old man balls

When in flower I follow these guidelines for trimming. Day 1 entering 12/12 when mature. Trim lower growth. Day 21 trim fan leaves. Then strip again between 35 and 45 days. Makes for less work come harvest and I have only seen yield increase since doing so.
Its a mixture of 2 methods I've read about. One is in my SIG, high defoil high yield. I just adjusted for my strains characteristics.

Figured I'd take pics before lights on this time. See what I mean 25 plants would fill it in better. Lots of wasted light.

You should try what LA calls backbuilding on your buds too. That's the other thing in stumped's sig. It's basically topping your colas so they think they've hit something & can't grow upwards so they grow outwards. Your colas will fatten up & look like cup winning colas :)

Girls are looking great man. Much better than what I got going on in my flower room.

I read your tutorial on defol. Good stuff man, I'll have to give you some reps again for that piece of work. I've topped my plants and trained them flat, but I've never bent a plant over. I'll probably grow my two C99 with different training. One my usual way like pc, the other bent over. Both under a screen of course

Yeah I did backbuilding on sour sky. Plan on doing it again with these plants too. I like them growing up a while then fattening down low. I just want big juicy colas

Someone made a comment yesterday here. One of the new guys, said he noticed when using led it took his plants longer to finish, then when he used HPS.
I did some research and found lots of people have found this what's up with that? Lol

Trying to find a definitive answer, but I can't find any.
