Yeah, it shouldn't be this hard. It's gotta support 3 and 5 gallon hempy buckets but can't be on the ground cause bending hurts at night. Then I was gonna cut the hole so heat will vent into flower cab for winter grows, so gotta put up a light block... Just keeps getting more complicated when I start thinking about it
 
I hear ya brother, I keep all my plants off the floor, my back & bending don't get on. I think I'm somewhere near figured out with mine, I need to be able to fit about six good sized plants in there & my nursery. It can be done with a bit of jiggery pokery me thinks :)
 
Good luck with that endeavor. My back is okay, but my hips are shot to shit. I just need to fit at least one more 5 gallon bucket in mine and get some light over it. I really want to get a C99 going soon for a long veg.

I'm pretty sure I don't underwater her but i think i would more likely overwater. Today I actually I was such in a rush to get to work that I may have overwatered them. But I definitely let them dry out very well. I gotta say the buds definitely look fatter and plant #3 flowers are looking even better regardless of the leaves but I do see some improvement after the watering. I was supposed to flush her today but they looked like they needed water.

Broke smoke. When u get a pH test kit. Feed between 6.5-7 and runoff should be between 5.5 and 5.8.

Thanks for the reply. the Ph Meter is on the way in the mail! I think you may be right man. We'll definitely see.

So I did some research on MG soil and its ph and npk ratio is

Soil PH - between 7-8
NPK- 0.21 - 0.07 - 0.14

I don't know if this helps. I gotta find out the pH of the water here in L.A.

Hoping you guys can answer some of my questions:

Any idea why the buds look to be doing pretty good even with the issue its having? (plant 3) Would it be logical to say that the buds are getting a lot of light due to the loss of leaves and the thin leaves?

Any idea what my yield could be?

When looking for amber trichromes, am I looking for a deep amber color or a light cloudy amber?

Is trimming leaves to allow more light to the lower bud sites a bad idea?



*Edit Plant 3 has always been weird this is her when she was a baby lol, maybe its just been developing ever since?

Alrighty, so as LA told us, you can't defol the Flux, so I went ahead and bent and tucked every leaf I could to let light in. Seems to be working quite well so far. Tons of light getting inside now, so lower buds should develop better.

SB had its heavy defol the other day and all the lower leaves have started taking off in growth now. I'll have to get pics so you guys can tell me which, if any, lower growth can be lollipoped.

HGK clone is still beasting like a mofo. Still can't believe how big it's leaves are and how thick the stem has gotten.

PC is still doing its veg thing. A couple of nodes are getting long enough to be cloned, so I might get ready for that.

CC is still hanging in there looking like the day it was cut. Feeling pretty confident it will root cause it don't look like shit like my water clones did.

I'll get some time tomorrow to work in garage and move shit around for space. Pretty weird the things that excite me nowadays
 
Ok they are in their homes. They are in 3 gallon buckets in 100% perlite in a paint strainer. The hole is 1/2" and is 2 1/4" from bottom. Two months and they should be ready or close to it. Fast and Vast Autos by Heavyweight Seeds. The ladies names are Fast and Vast. 3 days old and they have the start of 2nd set of leaves and roots like crazy. Had to move them to their permanent homes. They are 3' below the Mars II 700 watt LED by TopLed. They will be 19/5 light schedule. And as before, I am using GH Flora Nova Simple Drain to Waste feeding schedule and I fed them tonight. 1ml Flora Nova Grow, 1ml Floralicious and 2.5ml RapidStart.

This is the first to come out. Her name is Fast.

And here they are in the grow area. The tent is 3x2x5. Gets hot with the LED and the 4" filter and fan help but the filter sucks for odor.

Them girls lookin sexy already Wildjim! So excited to see this grow happen. I think I'll be ordering seeds this weekend, hopefully sooner. Can't wait to try this strain out
 
BrokeSmoke, don't fret about your plants mate. Wait until you get your ph pen then we'll see how they look. They are only minor issues so there's no need to panic :)

wildjim, we don't care if they're little babies or monster bushes of sticky buds. We love em all the same bro :)

I woke up early, so I decided to go out in garage and snap some pics of the girls. I will upload them in a little bit. Gonna need advice on what lower growth to take off SB

See all that junk growing below 3-4 inch? Cut it off, job done. Stripping it all in a sitting can stress the plant. So do 3-6 cuts a day till done. Or just cut it all now. I've done both. Sometimes it shocks her for a few days. Sometimes she just keeps going. So I usually recommend doing it slowly.

So just leave the top 3 to 4 inches uncut? Or just cut bottom 3 or 4 inches of junk? Well, I guess since it's only 9 or 10 inches tall, it would be about the same thing lol
 
I'll go in nightly and take a level off each time, so in 3 or 4 days time I can take off the lower stuff. I think I shocked the shit out of her with that heavy defol, so I'll take it slow this time
