WJ - That sure made a difference getting the proper ph's going when flushing and feeding
Do you use RO water or tap and let it stay for a day? It's a bit of a pain with straight tap water have to correct it even the day after, might be normal? But anyways glad that i always double/triple check
I sure am glad for that. It is simple and effective. It is natural for new gardeners not to know ph affects the plants ability to take up the minerals and other elements required to grow and be fruitful.
I use faucet water. Mine is 61ppm and 6.3ph. I leave it sit for less than an hour. Every day I just make 3 gallons of nutes, one part of the GH Simple Drain to Waste formula in each gallon jug so I don't miss anything. I also add CaliMagic as it is not mentioned in the GH schedule. but is very necessary especially with LED growers. I also add 0.75 grams of Magnesium Sulfate, Epsom Salts. Then I ph each one to 5.78-5.87. Then I check the ppm. Around 850-900 now
I have tried DH2O in a DWC once. Buying water with faucet water like mine is wasteful. Could have used the money more efficiently.

Shit i still don't know how to get calmag around here, or what else to do? Kinda lost. :/
okay i'll have a look. i am situated somewhere around europe. and last time i looked it all came from US which makes stuff very expensive, due to ship, import taxes and so on :/
Everything I need I get from my hydro store & if they don't have it I buy it online. Which product are you after? If it's a big US manufacturer you can guarantee there's a UK supplier so I'm sure if growing is popular in your country they should have a supplier there also Google the product & select your country in the search, if anyone is selling it, it'll be there
That's a bummer, is there no grow shops in your country you can mail order from to keep the cost down?
That's where the UK is lucky, it's illegal to grow here but not sell anything to do with growing so hydro stores are plentiful. I hope someone else can chip in to help you out mate
