Yeah , that virus looks like a leaf miner so making a diagnosis critical as that virus will spread thru out every plat in rear contact , there is nocure except destroy , yuo can grow out but then the infection will spread to your next grow if not careful ie; it's persistent long after the pant is l dead

I smoke cigs while I manhandle my plants. Actually getting tmv is rare and hard to do, so I don't really worry about it. I've had ashes fall on my plants, medium, and into my nutes as I pour them. I wouldn't worry about tmv like I wouldn't worry about boron deficiency. Too rare to care

That's good to know. I figured if you could get it from cigarettes then my plants would have it. I'll bet that nicotine juice could probably cause it, but not my ashes

Uhm okay, not sure if i should worry about that tobacco virus. I had a great looking clone yesterday, fed it with the solution and ph as mentioned before, and now it starts looking like the other. WTF? maybe this strain doesn't handle "this much" nutrients. ?

Took down the 1000w. And setup the 600w. Mostly this will help with my heat issues. Yield shouldn't suffer much from it. Still same coverage.

PM, Epsom Salts, magnesium sulfate, encourages the plant to produce carbs and sugars to attract pollinators, like bees and hummingbirds. For us, these sugars make for sweet tasting buds. I'll start adding a little to the nutrient mix today. It supposedly doesn't affect ph. It is one of my usual nutes that goes into my tomato nutes I grow in recycling hempy's. I use 6grams per 5gallons for tomatoes. I'll be adding under a gram per gallon for my buds.

In my grow, Fast is just packing them on. Vast is now more than 6'' taller than Fast. She is definitely 3 weeks behind Fast. But I have about 12 days to harvesting Fast. Can't wait to taste her and make some more oil.

Yeah I was expecting to chop this weekend but I might let her go a little longer. Mostly cloudy, a little clear, and very few amber still. And Strawberry blue is still taking its sweet ass time to gain weight. I was hoping they'd both be finished so I could gain some space in flower room. Might be looking at a Halloween harvest

Hmm, seems like the clay pebbles are causing the ph issue. I now flushed the plants/containers with 7,2ph, and emptied buckets. Then fed with 5,4 ph solution (nutrients) and runoff is again 6,6ph ? so conclusion is that the roots in the reservoir is actually getting 6,6ph solution and causing lockout. Hmm! What should i do now? lower the feeding solution even more, or ?

I think it might be that you should have flushed with 5.8-6.0 not 7.2. You're doing hydro right? You, in effect filled your rez with 7.2 and then added how much 5.4 nutes? I do hempy and flush and feed 5.8. Try that, it might help.

yes WJ. i will try flush again with phed water. instead of just tap water. I just filled containers until 0,5ltr runoff approx.

Jummejum,
When I use hydroton I flush/rinse them for 10 minutes in a net bag in a bucket in the tub. Then I put them into a pot or net pot that I will be using and flush with a few gallons of ph'd water. Others might differ, I don't know. I don't do DWC anymore. I do use hydroton in an outside NFT veggie system. Just to cover root riot plugs in net pots.

here is an update of what i got going on. i installed a new 600w hydrostar 2 digital ballast and new hortilux bulb. and vertical bulb placement wing reflector. the old magnetic ballast was pulse start so when i took pics there was always lines in it lol dropped my room temp a few degrees too.

flower room is 6 weeks into flower. 2-3 weeks left

veg box i got the big ol ak47 mother. just waiting for next round to take clones and im gonna bin her.

part of my next round of ak47 clones. was in the middle of potting them in cups when i took the pictures.

my healthy ak47 mother plant in back, pineapple kush in the solo cup and white russian in the one in front.

bc big bud seedling that seems to be taking forever to grow. thing is a month old wtf.

Everything looks great. Looks like we'll be harvesting about the same time. I'm thinking Halloween for my Flux, and then something different every two or three weeks after till year ends.

And as we get closer to harvest, I'd. like for some of you who have had a few harvests to try and guess what I might pull off HGK Flux. I'm still really bad at guessing weight, so I'll stick with 2 ounces. I guessed my sour sky would be 3 or 4 ounces and it barely broke 2. I can give dimensions if that helps.
