Peyton & Pals Perpetual Playground

Well his buddy offered him a bunch of free 600 watt hps, so I doubt he'll switch anytime soon. I'd love one of them 600's for the garage this winter. But unless I get friends like his, I'm sticking with led. Gonna see about ordering that old model topled on ebay tomorrow. Wish I could get a bigger better light, but oh well. Any recommendations for a 100 dollar led that'll be better than the topled? Wish I could find another 400 mars II, but that's too pricey right now

Those trainees sure look good. If I ever do a photo I am going to try some type of training.

I would just keep looking on thE bay. Might find a good used one. I paid $230 for my Mars II 900 watter. And they paid 45 bucks for shipping. Other than that, buy the old style from Sara. She said they are giving 5 of their new style lights to 5 people on 420 that use TopLED lights to grow. Get on her thread and check it out and put your name out there to hopefully get one. She said early Christmas presents.

I'll check out the bay tomorrow. If I get the go ahead, I won't have days to look, cause if not that money will be gone quick. But I did order my bloom and micro nutes today. Pretty much out of both, so no choice there. Can't wait to get another light. Be able to get some autos going once I get it

Congrats Stumped on the latest phase of your business venture & the free light :)

WJ, don't be scared of defol, think of it as a friend & training aide :)

Payton, your girls look amazing my friend :bravo: As for lights I don't think you can get anything better than TopLED in that price range. The reflectors are a great light, 48x3 will do a good 2x2 coverage & is under $100

Here are the ladies 45 days old. Fast was really affected by the drought, as you can see in the bud photo. She is doing well now. Stopped the RapidStart and the ppm is now 720. The tips and leaves look nute burned but it is from the heat and drought during my 3 nights away. Vast has no burned tips or evidence of heat and drought effects. Thankfully. And there are a few pistils showing on Vast. She looks like she is 3 weeks behind Fast. That's OK because of the harvest time. Vast is 30" tall now and Fast is 27". I am glad I got these. If you are going to do any Autos this winter, I suggest this Fast and Vast strain by Heavyweight Seeds. I got mine from Original-SSC.

I defoliated both of them last night. I hope I did it correctly. I took a lot of leaves. What do you think Cajuncelt? Is this what you meant?

Some of Fast's buds. Notice the tips and edges? That is from heat and drought. IMO, Noobie as I am.

Looks like a great job. I'd get any lower shoots/leaves not getting light. Let her push that energy where it does good. They're beautiful plants. I hate the drought for you, but they'll recover.

Thanks PM. I am hoping the defol will do them good. I never liked picking growing leaves on any plant.
I can't understand why Fast was affected by the drought more than Vast. And why when Fast started flower Vast just kept getting height. I have about 1/4 pound of leaves drying. Will the leaves make good brownies? Should I grind them up and put into the brownie mix? Or how should I use the leaves?

They look great. I'm sure the defol will do them a lot of good.

Thanks Cajun! There really aren't any smaller limbs/shoots. My Mars II 900 is getting down into the plants pretty well. Vast has no apparent drought damage. Just wondering why she took so long to start flowering.

Thanks for the suggestion! I have heard to juice male leaves for the CBDs. And never even thought about juicing these leaves. Oh yea, I don't have a juicer. Got a Ninja that makes my morning drink. That would grind them up pretty well. I am going to invest in a juicer before too long. Maybe a Christmas gift for my wife.

Juice the leaves Jim.

Hey Guys. Could you please help me here with some deficiency?

I feed the plants at 5,9-6,1 using floraduo. i mix exactly as said on label "hydro" 5ml grow and 5ml bloom for 10ltr water.
Run off is 6,5-6,7 . PPM is measured at 650-670ppm, tap water is 470ppm.

I can't get cal mag around here if thats the one causing this issue. To me it looks like nute burn?
