I think I'd go crazy without family near me. You and LA amaze me.
But I finally made it and I have to say GREAT WORK brother!
It's been nice watching the progress you've made over the course of this thread,
and it's even nicer now that I'm all caught up and can follow along while I'm here
@ !
Hopefully I can learn a thing or two from you as well! I'm new to this forum but not to organic farming!
But I find it amazing all the different ways you can grow a perfect plant without attempting to "feed" it with all these high priced snake oil and salts! I've never fed my plants! I only feed my soil!
But keep up the good work & I'll be around from this point forward!
Organic we stand!
& Blessings!
Ps, I harvested a Darkstar this summer and it looked remarkably similar to yours!
The effect of it was very nice and it was really potent and made you wanna just have a seat haha.
And the aroma was something else! It smelled like something totally other than cannabis.
Kind of a cinnamon-ish, orange-like mixture, with some weird spicy smell that I couldn't put a finger on!
Kinda reminded me of Seedsman White Widow while flowering, but in the end it tasted exactly like it smelled! See ya around the forum brother!
Also pick up some Kelp Meal and Alfalfa Meal just because of all the great things they both bring to the table in terms of the organic garden!
And I'm new to the Excelerite scene, so would you care to share with me how you've been using it!
Morning sir! And thanks for the response!
I opted to try the Excelerite just because it was suggested to me by the guy in the store, so I'm glad to see that you're actually having success with it.
I used it @ about 1/3cup per cubic foot of my soil mix. To be more specific I used 1 cup in 2.75 cu ft of base.
I read that it won't burn which is usually my key to use it a little more liberally, but then I read that a little goes a long way so I held off a bit, with the thought in mind that I can always top dress it procatively.
But how'd you use it brother?
And yep, I let my soil always sit and cycle for a month before I use it!
And the Yum Yum sounds damned good actually! I would have probably tried it out had I know what it was before now! I'm trying to work towards using only plant based amendments and the Yum Yum works for that totally. Def. something I'll take a mental note of for the next mix. Looks great on the net.
And GINGERBREAD!!!! That's what it is I think! The smell! Probably Spruce too, but I'm not too sure what that smells like at the moment lol, but def. a truly unique aroma. Off all the weed I've ever come across, even living in The Netherlands for a year and a half, I'd only smelled something similar once!
But here's a link to the exact page of the last post on that thread. It's from last summer and is all there but the last three weeks or so, but you can get the idea of the pheno I had thru what is there. I let a guy in on my locally and ended up deeming him untrustworthy, so I had to fake the death of the girls lol.
Last time I EVER open my mouth about what I'm up to, to someone that I haven't grown up with.
But here's the thread in case you wanted to check it out

I think that both our phenos were Mazar Dominant for sure! I didn't get any kush out of mind at all it seemed!
What about yours? And If you even had a Mazar strain before, what's it like?
& Blessings brother
Ps, @Dresney , I too think that Teaming With Microbes is a MUST READ!
And @PeeJay, PLEASE Look into the Boveda Humidipak 62%! You WILL thank me later if you haven't already used them!
Ouch! College texts are not much fun. How are you on the basics of chemistry and microbiology? I read all over the place and have enough background to decipher most stuff.
These two books by Jeff Lowenfelds are very good: "Teeming with Microbes" and "Teeming with Nutrients." If you have an understanding of the basics they will be very valuable - you don't need to be a science fiend to get lots of great information but a general understanding of chemical principals helps.
"Anatomy of Life and Energy in Agriculture" by Arden Anderson is a great read, a little more technical than the two Lowenfelds books. It demystifies high-brix principals. It really isn't as complicated as the high-brix gangstahs would have us believe. Doc's kit is great, but it ain't the only way. There is a lot of "true high-brix" hoo-ha out there. True high-brix is determined by refractometer readings not by using someone's kit.
Ps, @Dresney , I too think that Teaming With Microbes is a MUST READ!
