Papay/Jungle Wreck and "living dead"

Just caught up on you grow. You plants are looking nice. I would hold off on pulling jane/john. I think its a little too early to tell. Wait it out you have some time... Great Job..
Hello sonzor, it is an honor to have such a great noob, to add to my list of good growers in this journal. I can't say that my plants will look anything like your papaya did, but I'll sure try!
I took Jane/John out to the garden, I read something about they can still have a good smoke if its cut before it pollinates, and Perico mentions something about butter so I am gonna keep those options open. I hope you didn't get offended by Pericos' post I'm sure he meant nothing against you or me. Oh and yes I do have all 6 plants in 12/12 at the moment so I can weed out the possible males.
nawwww, that's a dude bro!, cull it now unless your plan is to get seeds from your females. if you're not going for pollination, you can still grow him up and make some cannabutter or some hash oil. but that right there mi amigo, is boy, and those are man sacks, I'm sorry, but it's better that you caught it now b4 he splooged all over your grow room.
Ya man, I hear ya. I don't really want to take a female and have her ruined by that traitor, but if I turn out 3 females out of the last 3 I will...fuck it....

Yeah we don't like sausage parties around here LOL j/k

Hey musik, no I don't care for that sort of party either.

siscokid,

Thanks for the nice comment, and no there is not too much that anyone can say to offend me. I just throw out my opinion and if it is corrected, great I just learned something new. The more I am corrected the more I learn, the better grower I will become. Thanks again, good luck and cant wait to see those plants all grown up... + rep

So i have one Sativa plant, check out my grow, i know the pictures are bad and i'll hopefully get close-ups tonight after camera battery charges. But I got a little story for y'all. I'm a noob, yeah thats right, and I was fooled already.
This one plant that was germinated 2 weeks ago started to show what I thought were female parts, i was like what!?, from all the pictures i saw, this had to be female for sure, two pistils shooting up from what looked like a sac or small ball, so i was researching to find out if they could show sex less than 3 weeks into veg. Within hours the leaves started portruding more and I could tell they were leaf tips but the baby leaf tips looked just like female pistils in pictures. I'm telling you this one plant is blowing my mind, its going against some things I read.(Believe me when i say, I'm just a noob, learning and having soooo much fun.)

So I hope in flowering that their sex parts don't trick me like that one did. Lovely plant!!!!!!

LOL :bong::rollit::grinjoint::popcorn::cheer:

No offense meant gentlemen! just want to save a fellow grower the stress of wasting nutes and whatnot on a male. I remember my first grow I didnt' have a clue as the how to tell the sex, hell i thought a hermie was growing buds at first lol! but yea this forum is for learning and sharing! If I came off offensive, please accept a :grinjoint::cool:;):bong: and apology, grow on brothers!

Here is my for sure Sativa plant. Here is the one that when new leaves are growing they are growing in a corkscrew pattern, and the new leaftips on the branch nodes look like female pistils, heres a picture:

Strange_Sativa.JPG
When they are looking like this but all you can see is the thin pistil like looking leaf tips, you get that puzzled look on the face to wonder how its possible. ITS sTILL VEGGING.

Only to check up on it hours later to find out they were leaf tips. The plant is alive y'all it can hear everything we say do or think, they know if we been naughty or nice, and either you get presents or you get coal. AAAAAAAH!!!!!!

:cool::rocker::skeptical::hmmmm:

P.S. This plant along with 5 others are only 2 weeks since germination.

Ty Sonzor, and thanks for popping my rep cherry! ha ha you were my first!

Great post and I think what you learn from any grow is going to help with the next grow!
Thats the truth, thanks DGMGH for checking in.

Sure thing Musik, I'll def. look at your grow!

None taken, I have nothing but respect for all the people that come and take a gander and leave me some opinions. I would not have it any other way. I forget about your hermie. What did you end up doing to it? I think you just pulled it, No?

Fellow herb lovers, I am happy to say that today is 7 days since my last tweaking of the soil and there is a positive result so far! I have used aluminum sulphate to bring the ph down and it is working so far. I read the instructions again and it says to check after two weeks but I need answers now! just check the first page and see the difference for yourselfs,

the other good news is that its been a month since I used the fulvic acid, I thought that it had burned my first set of leafs off but now I am looking back at my original notebook and I blame it on the garlic, oil and soap spray, when I was having bug problems...( I left a window open and some flying bugs wanted to make the cups my lil ones were in home.) So yesterday I watered with fulvic so I am hoping that it does it's job.
I just thought I would post some pics today so we can see some changes from the tweaking together.;)

beneficial microbes in this product are best used within two
years of the production date (see side panel for production
date). After that time their numbers may be reduced.

Does this sound like something worth continuing? I am doing half the suggested amount for now and will be doing another feeding of both products in 2-3 weeks as indicated on the instructions but at half the amount again, I also wanted to know if I can add another plant food to this or would this be enough? Oh, I almost forgot to mention that I have been using Fulvic acid at 340ppm to a gallon of water.
