Papay/Jungle Wreck and "living dead"

Oh, one other thing...I was gonna send you a PM as I didn't want to state it publicly but the server said you have chosen not to receive PM's or are unable to. Call me paranoid but you might want to flag the pic on the first page via the photo gallery to have it erased. Why? Well, if your fingerprints are on file with the FBI/law enforcement those are pretty good pics to run a pattern search with (yes, I said I was paranoid ;) ) and you could be in for some issues. Better safe than sorry! Just take the photo in to Paint or something and black out your fingerprints and repost it, you can see where I did that in one of my pics (page 5 or 6, where I was posting pics of the roots during transplant).

Just looking out for a fellow unnecessarily persecuted smoker :) Even if you do have a MMJ permit it still doesn't hurt to stay as discreet as possible...

Hey Troop, I forgot to mention that I stuck a Sunbeam "cool mist" humidifier in today, it dropped my temp. down by 10F and of course raised my humidity from 20% to 50%. I started it in the veg. room hoping that it would raise the humidity in both chambers since veg. blows into flower and out into attic but the flower room stayed at 20%? So I changed it to the top since those plants are older and soon going back into veg. I am wondering if I should just stick em all together in one room since I am not going to flower papaya like I first intended. I guess I can go another couple of months without smoke. I need to make up my mind... I know, what do you all think? I think maybe just start it tomorrow and stop wasting time. Will I be doing the papaya plants good or harm by that? Ughh!

Sorry I can't really help with your questions but depending on how the air is ventilated from the veg portion to the flower it is possible that the majority of the humid air from the veg portion is getting blown out in to the attic before it has a chance to circulate through the flower chamber to where your hygrometer is.

As long as you can provide proper air circulation to prevent O2 from being trapped in the undergrowth and proper lighting I see no reason you can't put them all together...assuming they won't be crowded but that goes back to proper circulation and lighting. Might wait for a few other more experienced growers to chime in before you take my advice :)

Thanks for the response Lil N, The exhaust in the lower chamber in the back left corner as you can see in the pic above, the black tube is the in-line fan and it sticks out about a foot or more, so I bent it down a little so it doesn't blow the air straight into the ceiling but toward the front of the chamber to give it a little circulation. In the flower chamber I installed the exhaust in the back right corner to help with circulation. I have 9 square feet of floor space so I think 6 2.5 gallon buckets fit OK not too crowded. I have good flow of air going in and out, lighting is not an issue really because I can always put more cfl's in.
This is a pic of the veg. room with the black tube. I need to take a recent pic. it is now different.

I'd say put it and the little ones in 12/12 with papaya cull the males and put a female into veg and flower the other females

Thats what I ended up doing, update on living dead, its dead, for sure now. It just didn't do anything but dry out.
I am having temp problems now so I am considering removing a couple of daylight bubls tomorrow. I am currently using 4 23 watt 6500k and 6 43 watt 2700k
I also found out that my mix is too heavy, thank to tortured soul and CharlieMopps, for the info ( What are common mistakes made by first time growers).
I am taking em out for watering in the morning so I figure I will make a new mix for em and change em over. I need to hit the hardware store for perlite and sand early, I just hope that I don't screw up the root system or shock em to death.

Halfway thru my first grow was about the last time I worried about the pH of my soil. I've never checked it again since! now the pH in a Hydro system, is a different story. but you're doing a great job , keep it up :ganjamon:, sorry to hear the living dead didnt' make it, but that papaya is a great plant bro, grows insanely fast as well , have fun with it! :surf:

yeah your ph meter is your bible in hydro your SOL without one

Lets see now, ok so I changed my soil by mixing 4 cups perlite, 1/4 cup aluminum sulfate, and 2 tbsp per gallon Bio-tone microbial plant food. The root system was getting long, I think my plants were not happy though because for a month since seed they look small to me. Hopefully they will like the change of soil.
Here is a pic of the plants. I hope I don't mix up the names cause I just uploaded the pics and for some reason they don't come up in order like I took them.

this should be Mari side view

it could be ur lights bro, maybe up the ante a bit, bc ur right, for a month old they should be waaaay bigger, even if u had an AF strain it should still be bigger.

i added them in the beging of my grow and they doubled size in a week

you're still vegging right now so u don't need to soft white red spectrum, put those in when u start to flower, for now just use the cool daylight bulbs. I'm gonna post a pic of my lady in the hydro bucket, i've only got two daylight 27w cfls on her and she's growing like a fat kid on a cake and brownie diet!:ganjamon:

Hahaha, I thought that I needed a mix of red and blue? Im doing 12/12 on them and then back to veg. should I still only use daylight?
