Pretty triply but BH3 might look fluffier than the cocoa lady, but she's actually the denser of the two. I can't imagine how sticky and crip these nugs are gonna be. Smells like bubblegum. Yum

The DarkRoom 2.5, DR120, 48" x 48" x 80" is Secret jardin's more sturdy tent

Nice update, Tavosvo! Looking colalicious.
Congrats on the new tent also. I have one of the lower priced 4 x 4 tents. It's not the greatest, but it works and holds up my heavy light alright. At least the corners are metal and not plastic.
If money wasn't an issue for me, I'm sure I would have gone for a higher quality product. Maybe next time.
Metal corners sound nice! I'm fairly sure you must have found a better product than me!
Ok. These blue hammers are almost there. Both BH got their final dose of transplant the other night. The cocoa lady is beginning of week 9, definitely a faster finishing pheno. She smells incredible. Bitter chocolate, overripe fruit, hint of citrus and lemon, touch of fuel. Very greasy looking and feeling buds. She got a light watering last night, and I'll give her one more in a few days, then, assuming she's looking real close, give her a heavy flush and energy dose, wait a day or two then chop. Sometime next weekend I think.
BH#3 is interesting. Lots of hairs. Still pushing white pistils, but finally starting to fatten up. Not too strong smell, sweet and light would be a good description. A bit of bubblegum. I hope the smoke is tasty, that is my most important attribute a strain must have. Nice smell, tasty smoke. If she is bland - good bye. She gets same treatment as the cocoa lady, but I'll just keep giving her energy until she's ready. Who knows how long that'll be. 2, 3 weeks?? Lol starting to look a bit tired so I'll have to balance ripeness with happy plant.
Doc, what do you think about watering her with a EWC slurry/tea? Hard for me to top dress just castings, I have a layer of hydroton on my soil. The watering before her final dose of transplant I top dressed with some quick start I had from my first kit, thinking that the bennies could use some food. Wondering if some castings will keep her trucking till she nice and plump.
Just finished reading your journal, nice looking plants
I think you should try it! Just don't add molasses.
I came here originally to voice an idea concerning sativas vs indica and the way we time the drenches and recharge the soil and accommodate heavy feeding, short flowering indices, and long flowering, light feeding sativas. Well I guess it's less of an idea than a topic of discussion. I think that with how much timing affects the kit, we should work on basic guidelines for indices, sativas, short/long flowering plants, salt lovers/low feeders. I'd love to time a cat drench with a sativas second pistil push and fatten her up gradually over the next 6-8 weeks, and I'd love to give my hungry kush everything it needs, at just the right time in its short life.. I'll be taking notes and doing my best to come up with something useful to all. Phenotype variation is leading me to dig deeper into kit timing and how well we can cater to our beloved plants needs.
Aloha for tonight everyone. I'm sure I'll read this all tomorrow and have something to say about something I said, however idiotic or brilliant. LOL. Please chime in if you have the time, talking cannabis growing philosophy with my lady is similar to conversing with a brick wall.
She looks tasty no doubt about that!!
it seems like everyone running Sat strains are getting the same issues as you are here...i wanna run my arjans haze #1 at like half strength drenchs the whole way and see what happens??
