Shit man that's a hard question. Curso mentioned that cat drench brings on the pistils, and I've noticed the same. I wish I could have applied that knowledge to the two vastly different phenos. Realistically, the only way I could do I better would be to do it again. Nothing improves a grow more than experience with the variables we are in control of.
Learning how each strains timing goes is the best way to do it right. Take lots of notes or make a good journal here so next round you can make educated decisions.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. Im on round one of kit soil and just hit with cat drench at 14 days from flip, i noticed increase pistil production for sure a day after...according to the instructions i am a bit early but i have issues following directions like alot of us here lol, i came up wit this timing after talking to Graytail about what he and Cursuo have found ... ill share my results in my journal if you are ever curious whats going on in SGA's garden

hey bro I just wanted to say beautiful ladies I been reading most the high brix journals ran with some of docs kit and man am I happy I purchased it bummer I missed the mail man Saturday but tomorrow I will go pick it up and a bale of promix and I will mix it im thinking I will only use half so 1.9cf? ill have to wait a month until I can finally join the high brix party man its nice to know most of u already got the hang of this and I will benefit from it lol I hope all u high brix fam will help me I will start a journal very soon anyways man once again beautiful ladies ill stick around if u don't mind
Mix the whole bale and save half. It works much better than mixing half and saving amendment.

I was planing to do the whole thing much easier then doing math to get the right amount to add to half but they don't have the 3.8 bale just 2.2 at Lowe's ny hydro shop ran out so I saw Lowe's carries some was wondering if its the same if not ill wait a couple days maybe Friday they will have the 3.8 bale how many gallons does that fill? I will need to buy a big container too should I buy only one or 2 for when I need to recycle the soil can I just mix it in the (new) mix that has been amended already with the minerals
Just buy two of the ones at Lowes and mix it up!

Hey doc what about the worm castings does it matter the shop carries like 3 diff brand off castings not sure if there is a specific brand ?
I like Wiggle Worm, but I'd use another brand if it was organic AND had zero K in the NPK, as Wiggle Worm does.

It's official I am soon to be part of the high brix fam I got my promix and worm castings 7 gal pots and Ijust came out the postal from getting docs kit I'm excited man

Alright one fast one.
Cocoa lady - middle of week 8. Amazing chocolate berries lemon fuel chemy smell. She looks like she's hit the home stretch. 2 weeks more max.
And the sweet big blue hammer, this pic from last week. Still pushing pistils, but really starting to bulk up. Idk about her...maybe another month still. Big fan leaves are yellowing and looking tired but all is good otherwise.

Ok the blue hammers are almost done. I'd like to give both a dose of transplant and then energy before the chop. Maybe BH3 will get two energy drenches before she goes. Looks like 2+ more weeks on that one, she keeps pushing pistils so I'm being patient and will ride her out. BH2 the cocoa lady, she looks a bit closer, still some fresh white pistils, maybe one week, maybe two weeks as well. She's getting a bit of little fox tails, makes the buds look real delicious. Leaves are starting to fade a bit so we'll see. I should know what's up next week after she gets transplant tomorrow, a watering sometime during the week, and a final energy soak Sunday or Monday.
The day dreams are doing good, down to two plants, pretty sure one is a girl and still waiting on the other to sex. The three dudes showed themselves last week and were tossed in the recycle soil bin. The two female hopefuls should have been in 2 gal pots a week or two ago but didn't, so tomorrow night they go in bigger pots, chill in there for another two weeks or so, then transplant to 7 gal and move to flower tent. I'd toss them in the 7gals already but I'd be bummed if they were boys so 2gal till sex shows.
I'm doing some experimenting and have a main lined clone of BH3 in a 3gal fabric pot. She got so big last time I'm hoping more colas and a smaller pot keeps her short. I anticipate her running out of soil, as BH3 seems to want to go 12 weeks, but I'm going to go for it. Maybe around the 6-8 week mark when her root got a good hold of the soil ill pot her up. Otherwise I might try top dress with some bone meal and see how she goes.
I also have 3 huckleberry kush sprouts coming up, 2 sour diesel x lady cane still waiting for them to show, just buried a confidential cheese x purple OG #18, and am soaking 1 extrema seed. The extrema makes me nervous, fucked up my shit last time herming out, but I really need some girls. I might soak a couple purple OG #18 as well and plant them in small 3x3s - veg tent pretty full with my prop tray in there. Waiting for a couple cuts to root then taking that thing out, need the floor space..hunting for ladies...not to mention having some issues with GLR, possibly my spectrum, and cloning bonsai moms. More about that later when it really gets on my nerves.
