Thanks xbox! They are gaining weight every day and starting to form some decent colas :). MK's big a$$ has been growing in almost a bowl shape... It's weird but I just think it's because the outside edge of growth is sticking out past the light and it's trying to get back under. It makes LSTing easier because I'm really only tightening the outside edge. Both girls have pretty much all of their energy focused on buds :slide:

Are you going to do any serious trimming per 420fied? I think I'll do one and not the other and see what happens. Course that depends on the trich check in the morning. If they're all cloudy..I may not as I'm almost done....

Thanks a lot my man, I think the trimming is a HUGE factor in the amount of tops and buds my girls have right now. So many more bud sites have popped up since the trimming!

I'd almost wager that trimming up some fan leaves around your larger buds that may be blocked from light would be most beneficial. I just don't have enough growing experience to even guess if i'm right :rofl:

I'm sure the gurus will have an answer!

At day 21 of 12/12 (after the initial stretch) you can trim the fan leaves to get light to bud sites and improve circulation. Trim again at 45 days of 12/12. I definately recommend doing this! :thumb:

They are spreading fast! The lower parts of the colas have even more, but are really hard to photograph. I'm ordering my 10X zoom filter for my camera today so that should make it easier. The AN Overdrive will start soon too... I'm hoping for some some nug-asauruses! Rawrr!

I totally agree with you! I guess what the question is now is if Giants is too far along for it to make a difference or cause any issues.

In 15 days I'm trimming again :high-five: It's helped me to accomplish this cola canopy :)...

Well I am on Day 48 of 12/12 with another 22days to go used big bud and sns 604b organic flowering stimulator and liquid kool bloom and you can see the results check out my latest update and come back in about a week and see what the overdrive does I am personally feeding my plants at about 1100ppms now after 2 weeks of 1800ppms but al I can say is AN bloom nutes are most definetly responsible for my buds looking like the next pic because I have never managed to get this type of response in this room with anything else.

So with 3 weeks left for myself as well and just starting overdrive I cant see how it couldnt help at this point in making the buds bigger.

What's crazy about these pics is they were taken with my cell phone :). I do adjust them as my phone doesn't adjust for white balance. Same phone I use to shoot the video too.

Hello Cateros! I saw those right after you posted your update. Those buds are so gorgeous. :high-five: I saved those pics just so I can see the difference in your plants after the Overdrive.

I think Im looking to go 9 or so weeks for flower, so I plan on adding The Overdrive next week (week 6) and again in week 7. Hopefully by then I will have a better idea of where the girls are at and start the flush.

I have a question if anyone knows off the top of their head... Because I'm using more of an organic feeding with a little bit of chemicals, would I have to flush for as long as if I were using just chemical nutes?

Thanks! I think I'm right around the 26th day or so of actual flowering, at the beginning the bud sites just showed up in one dark period! Now each night when I check them before bed, the trichs have spread even more. But it is crazy to see in person, this is all a first time experience for me so I'm just trying to take it all in. I'm going to try to get a pic of the lower parts of the colas, there are a lot more trichs down lower :)

Holy Crap! You just reminded me... I'm at 26 days of flower not 30( F'n stoner moment :)). 4 days less means I'll get at least another feeding with one last small bump of nutes. :high-five:

Man I hope these explode again, the weekly flushes cause some major growth spurts.

Ya know how I know I'm medicated... I keep typing and typing and... :rofl:

Good to hear your doing the weekly flush as well. Definitely good for the plants...
There was an interesting article I read somewhere though, ill try and refind it. That discusses the benefits of not using COMPLETELY base line phd water during your weekly flush however.
The reasons, not wor for word so dont quote me, but it basically said to think about it like drugs. You are essentially feeding your plants a high dose of drugs one or two times a week. Then to take it away completely could potentially cause lockouts and other problems. It talked about how it would be wise to not use PLAIN water, but an extremely small dose of the given nutrients you were using during a heavy feeding. Somewhere around 1/10th or less strength. basically so you are not completely starving them Until the very end of flower where you DO give them plain ph water flush.

Yeah you are about a week ahead of me on mine. Im finally on day 21. When i read that post, I thought i read those pictures were on day 21. i was so jealous! I hope mine come along by day 26!
And thats good news about one extra feeding. Every little bit helps!
