Oz's First Grow - Pyramid Tut In Coco

I feel such a KNOB now lol. I went with Canna because pretty much EVERYONE I know or spoke to said they're the dogs danglies :) Apparently Canna were the first to produce Coco specific nutes and are regarded as the best.
Jay, thanks mate......blood is rushing back to my fingers at last :) And I promise....NO NUTES till Cult says so :)
Cult, Cheers mate. Once again, I'm a COCK and I now it lol. Newbie nerves mate :)
Sir Dr Domestic Light { :) } Yes, I have a shittttttttttt load to learn, but I'm a willing pupil mate.....wax on/wax off lol :Namaste:

I think everyone wants to over love their plant first time.

Good green morning Nerf. How's tricks mate? I literally "crashed" out at 11pm last night lol. Lightweight me :) Yeah, love the little ladies already and me natural instinct is to nurture them lol. But as Alex said on an earlier post, I'd be an idiot not to follow the advice gven here so I'll do as I'm told lol. :) :Namaste: :peace:

Morning Jay. I checked on them at 9am and they're all stood up nice and straight and looking LOVELY :green_heart: mate :) Can't believe the difference in them :slide: They're grow fast too. No1,3 + 9 have caught up with No2 :) All around 2-2.5" already. I'm totally buzzin :adore::yahoo:

seedlings do not require nutrients to grow, far more people kill their plants by adding nutrients too soon. yes you use a portion of part A added to water then add part B to the same water, that is how an A+B formula works. I recommend you do not add any nutrients until your plants are 4-5 inches tall and have 5 nodes of growth then begin giving them 1/4 strength nutrients and gradually over time increase until you are at full strength nutrients.

Tricks is getting warm, bloody summer on the way. I cleaned out my eski today in preparation. I found a jewelers loupe in the bottom of it. Funny how things turn out sometimes. I wonder if they are going to have to add a new colour to our temperature chart again this year like last year.

Hi KJC. Thanks for the GREAT advice. I'll definitely do as you suggest. It seems the consensus of opinion is the same :) Thanks also for clarifying the A+B situation. It probably explains why some of my mates don't do so well. They use A for veg and B for flower. Once again, thanks for your input, I really appreciate it :) :peace: :Namaste:

Eski ? That's a term I haven't heard for some time :) Always had a few in Oz for beach, bbq, footy matches, partys......etc. So what part of the world are you inhabiting? It's BALTIC here mate -2c last night and getting COLDER brrrrrrr. Got heater on in the tent to keep it around 80f lol. Girls seem to be loving life though :)

King j c giving good advice as usual :)
Yea my nutes are an A+B at the moment it's 1.5l water I add 3 ml of part A then shake.... Then as 3ml of part B shake again then water :)
Easy as pie mate....
Good weed hope u and ur followers are good

Cheers Buddy. Well, I've got 2.5ltrs knocked up and ready n the tent lol. I put 2.5ltrs water in a clean sterilised bucket added 20mls of A stirred it well then added 20mls B. Basically it's 1/5th strength. :) Hows you n the family today "VIRUS MAN" ?

i have alot of experience using canna nutes. there are better nutes for coco out there but they are fine. trust me go 20ml/10litres water A+B once plants are about 6 inches with real leaves and nodes on. u'll prob see its too weak, but that is a definate safe starting point. it will only come in at 0.7 ec max. bump it up to 30ml/10litres after a week or so at 20ml. dont put it to 40ml until u start flower. whoever told u that A is veg and B is flower could have cost u ur plants!

Good morning OZ :) how your bollox doing today? Hahaha!!!:tokin:

Steve mate....I'm well but you, on the other hand, seem to have formed a fixation with my plums lol :thedoubletake::thedoubletake::rofl:

Once again mate....GREAT advice that WILL be heeded. I'll be bending your ear for advice as the grow progresses :) What's your thoughts on Superthrive by the way? :) :peace:

I am in the ACT of all places. It's decriminalised here so the crime rate involving politicians children wasn't so high. It's only since the last election that europe started looking so appealing really.

I may be lieing about where I am in australia, but not about the politicians chilluns thing.

Canberra was ALWAYS a cool place to be :) I spent some time in Mulimbimbi on the NSW/Qland border........HIPPY HEAVEN mate :hippy::ganjamon::):hippy:

superthrive is a tool to be used when plant has been stressed or shocked, i dont use it anymore, there are better products out there. add b-52 to ur mix that will keep plants nice and healthy and u can use that right through until last few weeks flower.

Great info :high-five: I got some Superthrive when I bought the nutes. Was just going to add it when I transplanted from small pots into the 3.5ltr and again when they move to their final 20ltr homes. I'll get some B52 now :) Should I still use the Superthrive? Shame to waste it really :)
