Outdoor Growing With BeezLuiz

Yesterday I transplanted the other two autos. Glueberry on day 19 and Northern Lights on day 17. Northern Lights before transplant:
And a group shot of all five under the lights.
Glueberry continues to look lime-green, but healthy otherwise. They are all working on their 4th node and I would like to top them at that 4th node. I just need another day or two so that there is enough room to top. Hopefully they don't go into flower just yet.

Highya Beez,

Some strong looking young'uns! Must be genetic for the lighter colored one. Strange, huh? Happy Smokin'

Those autos definitely don’t give you a lot of room or time to get them topped but they do look all comfy in their new bags.

Seems like having one light colored auto is a thing. Double H has one going on in her group too.
It's a new trend we're starting up. :) HH also had a light colored one (OG Kush) last year as well.
:nomo: trying to catch up
Welcome to my journal Don! Glad you could join in. :Namaste:

OK, so I decided to go back to the breeder's (Dutch Passion) description on Glueberry OG Auto. Even though it doesn't mention anything about the leaf color, there's definitely a clue in its genetics description: It's Blueberry x GG x OG Kush. OG Kush is what @Heavenly Hybrid grew last year and my son also grew last year. Both of those had lime-green leaves. So this plant might be heavily leaning on the OG Kush side of things.

So far no sign of flowering so I'm happy about that. Actually, today I topped White Zelica #3 and Northern Lights. At day 21 there was just enough growth on node 4 to give it a snip.

The Northern Lights looked pretty much the same.

No flowers on day 21 is always a good thing!

Time for an update on the winter auto run.
Not much happening while they do their veg thing. I've topped all of them once except for White Zelica #1. Northern Lights is now on day 28, while all the others are on day 30. No sign of pistil stigmas yet. The Glueberry OG seems to be the most vigorous of the group.
They are all still getting fed 2.0g/gal of MC. I'm expecting to see some signs of flowering in the next week or so, but really not sure what to expect with the White Zelicas since they were pollenated with a photo period plant.

They look real good, Beez!

It'll be interesting to see what those decide to do...

I'd bump the MC given their size and potential proximity to flowering.
I did go ahead and bump the MC up to 2.5g/gal for today's feeding.
Oh, and those lower leaves aren't touching the dirt are they?
Oh, heavens no! ;) Actually, I did give the lowers a bit of a trim today. I've been pretty lazy of late.
They're perky with life Beez! Sweet!
Thanks, Stone!

Yeah - I'm interested in what happens with this one as well.
I have no idea what to expect, but so far I'm pretty impressed with how robust those White Zelicas seem to be.
Nice group of topless autos. Will you be topping the White Zelica?
So far I've topped the Northern Lights and two of the White Zelicas above node 3, and I've topped the Glueberry OG above node 4. I think I'll leave White Zelica #1 untopped to act as a comparison with the others.

Update time on the winter auto run.
Everything is growing/vegging fine. I finally saw some stigmas on one of the plants - Glueberry OG.
Being an auto at 40 days, it sure did take its time. I'm quite please how this one is shaping up. It was topped once and now getting some LST.

Northern Lights auto is at 38 days from sprout, and still no sign of stigmas, but also shaping up nicely.

For the White Zelicas, I'm a little concerned that none of them have shown any signs of sex yet. They are also at 40 days old and seem healthy.
Since I really don't know if these will be autos or photo period, I guess I'll give them one more week and then maybe flip the lights from 18/6 to 12/12. I just don't want to deprive the other two autos of the extra hours of light. I lifted one of the White Zelicas to take it outside and noticed roots growing out of the bottom.
Pretty fast growth considering they were transplanted into 3 gallon pots less than 3 weeks ago.

I've now switched the nutrients from MC to the liquid parts A/B system that I used in previous years. I'm fine with using MC for the earlier stages of veg, but find the other nutes work better for me when they get closer to flowering.

Highya Beez,

They are all beauties! Glueberry is looking like a champ.

I have noticed roots will grow pretty fast when given conditions and nutes they want. Great job! Happy Smokin'
