Our Ongoing Grows

Bubblicious, SLH, and Chronic...so many choices...so little time. Beautiful pictures as usual Bro. Can't wait for cure...my babies are looking real good. Watered last night, inspected everything very closely and I couldn't see anything wrong but 2 or 3 leaves to be cut. Keeping my fingers crossed and knocking on Wood (as in Norcal) for advice. Powered down to 75% on my ballast, still had a little trouble maintaining my temp at 80 degrees and under...humidity is doing great, running 35-40%. I need a Camera badly....

Boy that B&J Garden puts out some really nice plants... :bravo: Hey that pheno type you got on bubble was like the sativa type i had that i didn't care for. Come to think of it it may have lost some of it's smell late in flower. My indica pheno type never loses smell or taste it was a great find out of a 5 pack of seeds. Now I have some new strains to find some new moms :thumb: life is good :smokin:

Looking great as always brother - you have me wishing I was toking on some SLH right now. I'll have to break out my emergency stash of it soon, as I really really miss it!! :yummy:

That's a nice thing about dimmable ballasts, when you have one of those hot days, not like we have tons of those here in Oregon, you can dial her down alittle for those 'hot' days. 80 is safe. Max 85 for growing. And of course your going to get hotter ones, just keep a airflow across the leaves and ride it out.
Well the Bubblious is all said and done, now to let her cure acouple weeks. I ended up at 4 oz's of her. I have 2 more I just started flowering. I really think I should've cut her acouple days earlier and maybe she'd retain more of the bubblegum smell. I mean she's still a very 'sweet' smelling herb. I'm just going to have to grow her acouple times to see what's up. I noticed she's a heavy feeder.
Ok I just started another seed. Gigabud. IF and when she cracks I'll keep people posted. I did order acouple seed to be sure I get a plant out of her. I see others growing it at afew threads. I am going to post this link to a site that all should love. Seeing I'm not one, to do contests, or be a billboard for any vendor, this thread is really important. It gives one a place to show off their crops and compare them with other grows,

Ok I promised a shot of my auto flower. Unknown strain from Big Budda Seed from their grab bag assortment pack. This plant is such a aggressive grower I felt safe topping her once. She didn't even bat a eye when I topped her. She's got the makings of a nice bush. I just hope she gives me another week before she starts flowering, That should make a monster, Auto Flower X;

I also have a update on the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree. I decided to let her flower alittle longer till I see what she's going to do. It doesn't look good for it. Jack Here Auto;

To help with them SLH lovers out there. I read in hightimes their top 20 plants that hit over 20% Thc, SLH was in there, Strong. It's different from that indica couch-lock a lot of people call the best. I'd love to see the levels thc/cbd. Someone needs to make a test kit at a reasonable price. Hopefully under 20$. I'd love to know is what I call strong strong to everyone else. I mean these plants have had a great life, but I'm no botanist. And there are ways to 'tweak' you plant to get that extra percent or two. So I'm hoping this hit 20%. She's 10% amber at about day 64/65 I think. I finished her under the 'master blaster' on a rail. I can see a big difference growing under that higher lums, and using the light rail even if the rail I only moving acouple feet with a 60 second stall on each end. Helps better penetration in the canopy by hitting it from different angles. Well here's the first pictures I have of SLH;

slh131.jpg

Hey Xlr8, one day I'm going to get some aged. I really love her flavor it's just it never sticks around long enough to really get a 'proper cure'. Least Miss J got a nice bonus in the shape of finger hash;
finger_hash1.jpg

Thanks BID, just another day in the life'. A-1Weed. Get down with your bad ass coming up with them new strains. I know your happy in your new pad. Must be really happy with it when I heard you say you was going to start growing alittle outdoors. I hope you find acouple good ones in your new ones. The Bubblious is doing alittle cure time. I've smoked it but I can't put it on my rating scales right now, It wouldn't be fair. All the mix I've been smoking the last couple days. I'll sit down in the morning and fire a dubie to do a test with. It's got nice bag appeal. Red Bud. With a sweet smell when you roughen up the flower alittle. I post that later.
Temps going into summer mode. 90/day 70/night. Flower room hit 85 last night, and the room is alittle empty so I cut back 1000 watts in there. I rigged a room divider for acouple months. Dropped the temps by 5 degrees. I guess I'm kind of lucky, when it gets real hot I have a nice veg tent outback for my mothers and teens to play till needed. Man they love real sun. Leaves pointed straight up for the first week. On a bad note my Berkley Blues is confused. She went to the verge of flower, and is now reveging. She's not doing any upward growth right now. Oh well least the others are making up for her in spades. Well thank everyone for taking a peek. I hope everyone gardens are doing great and' Keepem Green

Looking perfect Wood. Looking forward to your impressions of Bubblelicious. I killed one late last year, that was a bummer but had to do it. Kepp on keepin on Brother:Namaste:

Thanks everyone. You know Quix I haven't really sampled it yet, but I have gotten feed back from acouple 'testers'. They seem to like it. Tonight I'm going to see if it can raise a laff to a family guy. It's got a nice flavor for sure. I've took a toke or two but not really laid back and tasted. Nice red color and good sized colas. Fast to at 50 days.
Ok I just made a comment over at your grow Quix. Kind of pissed me off what I just did tho. OK let me explain I had taken acouple cutting abit ago of some God Bud and a Rambo. Well I took the cones from my cutting tray an prepared the soil in their intermediate sized pots. After I made the hole for the rooter plug I coated the walls and bottom with a tablespoon of Mykos Granules making sure them fresh roots get as much contact as possible with it. Water with a tad of molasses water and that's about it till later. Stuff is suppose to make root's go into overdrive. Ok now I understand that these mycorrhizal suckers aren't happy campers when they get all that salt based fert's dumped on them, from what I hear it will kill most of them off. They do have strains of these mycro' available that thrive in high salt environment. Sub-culture b or something. Well being said I know these are going to die of as soon as I start fertilizing but I figure it sure couldn't hurt to have a fatter root system to support huge flowers later. I've been doing this forever but this time I had acouple good subjects for testing. And know I see stuff does work, Now why I'm pissed, I woke and wandered thru the greenhouse looking at them seeing how big a difference there is between them, well the Rambo I ended up doing some serious pruning, a 'Uncle Ben's Topping aka EBT' alot call it. One was double the other in size. And I didn't document it with a picture before I topped it. Hence pissed. Least as a after thought I did get acouple of the God Bud. But God Bud is one of the slowest vegetating plants I've grown. GB#1 I about 1/3rd larger than the untreated #2. God Bud;

Wow walking around out back I see I'm going to have to do a update out there soon. I have like 10 girls out there all trying out for the larger real-estate. Right now they are in 5 gallon pots. 4 or 5 of them are going to get upgrades' and finish outdoors. That's another day.
Ok now acouple pix's of them little ladies. All said and done with FCJ aka Fruity Chronic Juice, well not done I have her going still. She was a freebie, and flowered just over 8 weeks. I haven't even thought of testing her yet. Miss J has and likes it. Well acouple last pictures of her. Chronic;
chronic20.jpg

She was just starting to throw amber in her trichomes;

Talk about finger hash,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I can't wait for this one. OGKush. She's about day 56. I don't have a firm start date on her, my bad. Soon I'm going to have a new board for our girls. But she's done; OG;

I agree with anyone who says YIKE'S, I am;
og_tric_s.jpg

Well that's it for a minute hope all doing great out there and Keepem Green

Don't worry about the documentation my man, I think we all get it, with all the bad ass pictures you put up, I think some of us may tend to forget about the details anyway lol. Nice trichs you got there too. How much amber do you shoot for? I go through phases. Some weeks I like to chop at 10% ambers. But lately I'm feelin more like 25-50. Anyway, looking great as always. +Reps:Namaste:

That SLH really is a beautiful plant. I can't wait to try her. Her sister sure turned out good though. Flushed for the first time. Running around like a chicken with my head cut off. I wasn't very organized when I started (I'm usually pretty OCD about method). I got the job done and got the first chance to really take a look at my babies and see how I did on my last trimming. I had to take a few leaves out of the middle so that those hidden buds could get some light. Sure makes me feel good to see how good they are turning out. All the credit goes to my mentor, Mr. Norcal, of course. I'm writing everything down, and as Wood says, I will discover my own likes and dislikes about growing and my own technique. Looking forward to it. WOW on that Bubblicious, tastes like my old 1 cent Bazooka Joes I used to buy at my little store when I was growing up. Now, as far as quality...what was I talking about? Very, very, very good!

drive-by. they look great as always norcal :)

You know this is the documentation that's fun. Young outdoor girls. I love looking back at these things when they are little. Hopefully one or two of these will hit 10' plus Getting a pretty good jump on the year this year. My Berkley went out just a week or two early and I mean just barely started to flower. But even barely is enough to upset your plant for along time in the future. UG. But oh well, she'll be looking great come end of September. But I do have that nice OG that really thrived outback last year. And Shortly after these pictures she got a upgrade in her living environment. Pretty sure it's a 20 gallon pot. Well 2 cubic soil to do the transplant. I plan on finishing her in it, maybe. Time will tell. But if she does well there's plenty of space to be moving on up to for her.
og40.jpg

Also have these two Bubblious going out there. I just did some major pruning back on one. But one of these is going to have to come in and fill a empty place in the flower room soon. And that will be the bushiest of the two. I can see these becoming pretty good sized plants,,,, fast.
bb106.jpg

OK we also upgraded our AKxSkunker into a larger house. Before I show that, I have acouple new bud shots from one we just harvested at week 9. AKxSkunk;

and here's the mother;

Chronic which is also getting a upgrade

Here's my auto flower. Grab bag seed from Buddha Seed
auto6.jpg

I like to take mine as soon as amber starts to show. Like 5-10%. I view mine as if they were fruit. Plump and full is better than amber and sucked up.
Ok I wanna thank everyone for dropping in I'll update some more later till then Keepem Green

A fast update,,,,, went over to sHEMPS to see what's going on over there. He's got it going on already. He's got two cutting off that strawberry OG pheno we have. Won't be long sHEMP them smells are going to start tickling the senses. I'm pretty sure he said they just broke week 4 into flower. He's also has a Cripit going and a AKxSkunk. Sounds familiar for some reason. Well we are going to be hearing acouple other strains soon.
He wanted me to see "His Girls" I'd be proud too. They are starting to shape up nicely.
But we did a tad of lollypopping on his girls tonight. Kind of scary I know humidity levels are up out there. I had to drain the unit every 24 hours past couple days. I keep my levels alittle lower than I'd like too, 35-40%, but Oregon has bad Powdery Mildew 'PM' problems. So hopefully alittle airflow will help keep that from being a problem. Like most you try to get your grow dialed piece by piece. But he might wanna get thinking of a dehumidifier. Hopefully we can get one cheap at that hydro store.... It's something you need here In Oregon if you plan of growing more. Eventually you going to need it.
But I wanted to post acouple quick pic's of whats going on over there. First That AKxS;

And his OG Kush;

My favorite,,, this is always one impressive plant. She frosts early. On top of old smokey, aka Cripit;

Well that's it for a minute here from the Doghouse. Hope everyone gardens are doing great and Keepem Green

Thanks for coming by my friend. I learn something new every time we talk. Again, I just did what you told me to do. Monitoring the temps and humidity is a little challenging, but interesting as well as I start to tell exactly how to + or - my airflow in accordance with those levels. I'd love to get some feedback from others on this. Other friends out there, feel free to give me your thoughts and takes on what we've got going. Like Norcal always tells me, I'll eventually learn things that I like to do personally for my grows, but that will never happen without hearing other peoples experiences and ideas. Again, Norcalwood, you are outdoing yourself. My girls have your name on them too!

Man that Cripit is one frosty MFer...
They are really looking good there sHEMP.
I just want to post alittle story here real quick while I'm thinking of it, Ok I think most know I am not really in the best heath. I know ALOT of people here in in the same shoes and who knows worse, I feel for all that suffer from chronic pain, an other things. Well over the last 3-4 years I lost abit or weight, enough my rings even need to be resized. I wrapped atad of material around the shank of my rings andthat will hold them till I do whatever I end up doing with afew of them. But anyways, I have this beautiful pinky ring of a rather large top end ruby in it. Well I lost it Abit back. I've been racking my brains looking, in every corner to no avail. To this day I keep my eyes open for it. Good thing too, me and Miss J both thought I might have lost it in the gardens and are watching close. Well I can say it was over 63 days ago I lost it because I was dumping the dirt out of the pot I had a AKxSkunk in and low and behold I see a little shine glinting out at me from the soil. Reminded me of back when I did some gold dredging
Ring1.jpg

Keepem Green

Nice!! Glad you found that ring brother Wood:high-five:
I have a tungsten ring that I've lost 6 times, and I mean lost. twice in snow different jobs, once on a commercial job where it would usually be found and kept, and a couple others. One time it was gone for over 6 months. It always makes its way back to me. Cant re-size tungsten so...
Its always nice to find something you lose.
