Our Ongoing Grows

MMMMMMMMMMMM Strawberries! Wood, sorry I haven't been as active as I have previously been, but I was rewiring and re-carpeting and other things to my classic 54 Chevy 2 DR hardtop and I started a part-time job at a place that sells restoration parts and I now get them at 10% over cost :yahoo: Your photography is immaculate as are your plants are beautiful! I am down to one left in the tent and 2 beautiful Royal Purple, a Blue Widow, and two Trailor Trash (feminized) in full veg. I have the 5 out-side plants I harvested trying to reveg and the three smallest inside under a T5. My un-insulated sunroom is too much area for the little AC unit I bought so I am moving the grow back into the smaller area tomorrow. Much more efficient in that room + the utility sink is there also. Keep up the beautiful work my friend:circle-of-love:

Wow thanks all for the nice words about that shot. I just wish I could catch a photo that does real justice to the plant. That could take a lifetime. Just like finding a perfect 10 strain, that wood take two lifetimes. I've grown acouple 9.5's in my lifetime. But hopefully I'll never stop trying. I really love that being a grower has come this far. I mean back in them old days you got caught growing, it's was a high felony and you were facing prison. Now I can't get a cop to look at my growers card. And we have the net to thank for giving us access to all these genetics. Speaking of genetics, I have something I put in flower on 4.20. This puts her around day 35 in. A strain I've not seen grown out before, least in my small circle. The plants been a dream to grow so far. Clones well. Aggressive growth. But then she is from seed. Plants grown from seeds always seem to be heathy and happier than clones. She looks like she'll handle some weight when it comes down to the buddage and She's just started to 'fill in'. I do have acouple clones cut just 'incase' she's that 10..... Rambo;

rambo1.jpg

She's nothing real special yet. Maybe just a slow starter and she's saving that explosion up for the finale. But they still look tasty;

Ok another strain. This one's from Greenhouse again. I really think this plant set the standard in marijuana farming for years, and they did a great job on stabilizing one worthy of it's namesake, Lemon Skunk. She's alittle leggy from short vegetative cycle under a early Oregon Sunshine, aka rainy over cast. But I got a feeling this baby is going to have some hella large buds filling up all that stem space. Lemon Skunk;

BTW I am in the process of cracking my last Super Lemon Haze seed in search for that lemony pheno she's so well known for.
Once more I want to address all my friends as a group and thank them for the nice comments. An I'm glad other enjoy pictures of this plant as much as I. Pictures are nice, hell yes, but I really want that '10.' Thanks and Keepem Green

SLH, a true classic! I've yet to try her if you can believe that. I think everyone I've seen that grows it, loves it. Never heard a bad word about it. I really hope you get that extra lemon pheno you're looking for. I may have to order some of those this year.
I HAVE had the Lemon Skunk though. Pretty nice strain if I remember, gave me a little paranoia, just my chemical makeup though. It had a good body high, with the racy sativa effect mixed in-pretty cerebral too if I remember right....Anyway I'm rambling, hope you're having a good weekend Wood.:Namaste:

Oh man I forgot about that! What a long time ago that seems! Ok, so I've heard one bad thing about it lol.

Sheesh wood!
That strawberry OG looks like it could be a cup winner let alone a NOTM winner!
You always have the most beautiful plants going steadily, and are always introducing us to some amazing new strains.
Every time I drive by this joint, I just gotta say,

wiw!

:green_heart:

Pop's got more journals here than 420 itself. I want to thank all for coming by and taking a peek.
I just got off the phone with Mike from Stoney Girl Gardens and he's going to have all strains clones available for me in afew more days. I also asked about making their strains available to all. They are open to the idea and asked me to do alittle looking around for a seed bank to handle their strains. One thing he spoke of was about knock offs using their name. That happens a lot. Right now they are doing a breeding project with DJ Short over in by Camp Pendleton. He's going to try to get me one of the Original Blueberry Cutting from the master himself. DJ I guess is kind of upset with all the watered down versions that are using his name also. But If I can find a vendor maybe I'll be able to get afew of their strain out there for others to work with. I plan on getting afew babies for Alaska before he comes down with my Girl Scout Cookie clone. He's wanting anything I can find with higher CBD's anyways. I want Girl Scout Cookies. I hear its ripper weed. That will be seen.
Well that CB X-mas tree is getting cut down. Didn't amount to a hill of beans but might something interesting. Looks like all told just about a 1/2 oz it looks like. Auto Jack Herer;

I'll update more soon till then everyone Keepem Green

I have always dreamed of introducing my strains to all patients who may need them.... But it's just another unrealized dream I guess, haha... As for the SG strains, please tell me when I can get my hands on them!!!!!
As always, you are showing your very skilled green thumb talent, and being an excellent patron of our sacred passion.... I can't wait til your next update my west coast brother.... Things in my flyer room are starting to roll also, 9 strains flowering this time, constantly looking for that coveted "10"... Chemdog, NL X Big Bud, Sour Ak, White Widow, Pineapple Chunk, Fruity Chronic Juice, Veneno, Bubblelicious, The Church....

Well bro, greenest greetings and prayers for you and your family,
Peace and God bless,
GT

Hey Hey, just wanted to update alittle. Not that a lot has happened besides getting into the spring of spring. Tomatoes today. I always like at least 1 cherry tomato plant a year. Miss J's Grandbaby loves'em off the plant. And if you give them plants room they just like pot will grow to allotted space. I'm putting her in a 25 gallon pot. Hey I have a lot of dirt out back so with my veggies I try to throw 25% soil from other grows. Them dose them with Hygrozime. Lets see if them enzymes can eat all the carbon based matter into useable stuff in the way of fertilizers etc. When you grow in soil all the time, eventually you going to have access of dirt laying around. If someone needs a place to off their old potting soil, try any community garden you can find. Stuff's still got a lot of good in it.
I also found some lab results on these Stoney Girl Garden strains. Kind of chomping at the bit to give them a whorl. I'm going to try to stop off there on my way home from the doctors.
Lab Results I found them interesting.
A lot might not know I really thrashed my body hard in my younger life, and now it's time to pay the piper. Well I broke my fool neck back in 86' and been dealing a lot with chronic pain since. Sucks but that's life. But a personal friend, who was the Doctor talked me into trying a internal pain pump for relief. Well it worked but now I'm wanting to see IF I really do still need it. That's a big IF also because IF I ever remove it, I'll never get another. But tomorrow I'm getting another 10% reduction in my morphine intake. I had the doctor take me off the heavies and down graded to the next lower for the brake thru meds. This time I'll be down 40% I'm pretty sure. Hopefully I'll get use to what I have to deal with before I opt for another internal pain pump. The one I've got is older than dirt, 'also', and the battery is past due to die, 6 1/2 years now.
Well I just wanted to do a fast update. You can tell what sized buds a plant will generally produce but the size of the stems. I've always believed this and it still hold true. This is a pic of my God Bud's secondary branching. They are almost as large as the primary ones;
god_bud1.jpg

To me this is a sign of large fat cola's. Keepem Green

Nice looking buds norcal :Namaste:

Reading about the shit you've been through makes some of my bones hurt! I sure hope you can get off the heavy stuff entirely, but you gotta have some quality of life too. :winkyface:

It's all part of the live we led. I know I rode myself hard and put away wet more times than I care to count. I can't really bitch I wasn't suppose to get out of the wheelchair.
Well jack hammers ringing outback. They started working on the pool. I'm glad Miss J was on the ball, she moved the plants most of the way out of the ways. All the plants got covered in a light cement dusting. We've having people jack hammer off 1/2" of the gunnit and the tile. You know thinking of this tile, dude said they don't make tile like this anymore,, thinking about that, the pool is just over 50 years old. Grant it this is Oregon and we do get alittle cooler weather here. Afew freezes every winter. 50 times even 5 is 250 times these tiles have froze. And most were still in good shape. I'd say even tho they were this ugly sky blue color, they were hella tiles. But Next time we've going to move the plants out of the way. They'll be back tomarrow. I don't think I'll be raising catfish myself anytime close;

Ok I did pick up afew new strains from Stoney Girl. I asked him to try to get me 2 clones from DJ Short. First is the Blueberry that put DJ on the map. He's going to get me a F-4 clone of that. And they are doing some kind of work with Flo too. So ofcourse I wanted that too. I always wanted to try a Flo.
Marion Berry
Crippled Rhino
Pit Bull
Wrex
Odyssius
I'll try to update later tonight. Isn't a lot new growing on anyways. Just my last OG is being flushed tonight. Rambo's started to fill out, etc etc.... Laters and Keepem Green Everyone

Nice getting the pool fixed up Wood, I dream of having one.
I sure am glad you got out of that wheelchair, and am sending you positive vibes to help with the morphine reduction.
The Flo and F4 blueberry may just put you on a whole new level Brother. Mother them out and run a bunch of clones. Hell, cross them with some of your other favorites too!!
Hope you're feeling well today Brother Wood:Namaste:

Looking amazing as always you two.....will be nice to see the pool done over....looked sweet a couple/few years back.....the blue pool with green plants around it made it look like paradise :thumb:
I do have a few new strains going on and they are all coming along very nicely.....Got some Purple Wreck and Blue OG and THC Bomb and critical + also yumbolt 47 and Skunk #1.....those are only ones i started got lots more to crack for a second run of new genetics :cheertwo:
Those seeds you got from stoney girl farms sound awesome as well as the clones you got/will be getting. Well brother and sister grower hope things are always greener on your side of the tracks :peace: AND :high-five:

Welcome cnd420. Always happy to see a new 'face' Hope all is great in yours.
A-1 I bet your happy as a q---r in a d--k tree. JK my friend. But cool on the new genetics. I know you'll find acouple new strains to infuse into yours now. Oh BTW we, 'me and sHEMP' are going to try acouple larger of the auto's. Buddha Magnum Autoflowering
Oh I plan on keeping them around Quix till I get a good sample to judge from. I was talking to them and they told me DJ had lost his true strain of BBerry and they just happened to have some seeds left he had gifted them back when. Well they gave back some and I guess they are working with it into future projects. Hey Quix this guy teaches classes here at Portsterdam University. I was kind of wondering about the soil amendments they offer thru Sunny Girl. Interesting stuff for someone who really wants a 100% organic regiment. Just mix and forget well water but anyways.. They grow theirs in it,,, I'd hope. Looking like all the clones will make it. Yesterday I woke to a burned out bulb in my clone room. I'm just using a dual t-5 2' model. But I love it I can just hit the corner and take my choice of hydro stores. There are popping up everywhere here.
I did get a pretty cool picture of our Berkley Blues. I kind of jumped the gun again this year and she ended up going into a false flowering. I'm not worried, she'll have plenty of time to finish off into a sweet plant. Kind of needing it too. Been a pretty costy spring so far. First time I've actually been kind of tight on med's in the jars. I ended up helping a friend with alittle more than I should've. But no fears, that's the nice thing about a ongoing grow huh? You always have replacement crops. But I love this picture B-Blues;
bb108.jpg

This plant has some great colors and one of the 'bluest' tastes I've had so far. Its' flavor and stone are at it's peak like 3-4 months after starting a cure. Almost let this strain go abit back, but I found acouple oz's I had put back and after tasting it again we are going to keep her for a outdoor plant.
Ok I got a couple fast pic's of what's growing in there. First off is that Bubblious. This strain has a welcome change of taste for sure. Sweet. And does smell like Bubble Gum. The other I grew finished I think at like 50 days. Not sure right now what the age is of these girls but I'll fill that in in awhile. Bubblious;
bgum1.jpg

Also have acouple Cripits in there;
c89.jpg

c126.jpg

Ok another of this runs Chronic;
chronic23.jpg

Like I was saying afew posts back, sometimes you can tell how big the colas are going to be by the stem size. Here's that same plant, God Bud, around halfway thru flower;
gb15.jpg

This girl turned into a rather nice bush. Rambo;
r39.jpg

and;
r116.jpg

I think we're going to love the pool. Going to use a unconventional color tho, gray. Darker gray. And the new tile dark blue with white grout is going to pop. We decided the pavers are fine. Afew have chips etc. We'll live with that. But my chronic plant was asking when it will be ready;
p59.jpg

Little does Miss Chronic know is she'll never see the sun again soon. She's a replacement for something in the flower room.
OK IT'S TIME. With a on going grow mites will find you. I try spot spraying or even removing the infected areas, which has been working, but. After talking with Alaska the other day, BTW he's doing fine in life, and he had some mite problems and was waiting on some predatory mites. Well I ordered 2,000 of them. I figure I'll shove all the plants togather in the center and shake them across the top. Hopefully they'll handel the problems.
Well thanks everyone for looking in. I'll try to have a 'good' pictures as soon as the plants cooperate.
Keepem Green Everyone
