Our Ongoing Grows

Hey BID maybe this will work. Got my mite killers this morning. I don't think the old Lady likes the fact I'm cutting 2,000 spiders loose in the house, till I explained we already have 2 or 3 thousand at least of them mites crawling around in there. JK not but hopefully these will help;

I don't know if you need it, but I hope that those predator (spelling IDK IM HIGH!!!) mites do the job!!
You don't think you could hire those praying mantises from 10 years ago to come in and clean up shop??
Oh well, You have lovely plants, best of Luck and Good Luck!

good luck N

Hey Woody, sorry I missed you last night. I hope everything is alright. A little concerned. Pulled my ak-sk out and went over it again with a fine tooth comb. Only maybe 2 straggler webs that I could find. Blew them away with my hurricane force mouth blowing through the casing of a pen. It works great though, as long as I remember to not blow the little bastards straight into another branch, and off to the side where they can be vacuumed up after. Not sure about harvest on this baby though. I really need you to look at it. It just looks like there is a lot of 'raw' looking green that needs more maturing. I cut a few more leaves off her that had signs of those texas two-spotted f--kers. I think I did a pretty damn good job. It took me over an hour just to inspect for further trouble. I know they aren't going anywhere right now, but I think I put a dent in them getting worse as long as I stay on it each night till harvest. Didn't flush last night as I didn't know whether she needs to be kept in the tent a while longer. This thing is so sticky and smelly, I want to make sure I get the most out of it that I can. Call me bro. Two weeks from tonight, ROCK ON! I am pumped.

sHEMP found out what mites are already. They suck. I've got to get over and see how bad'. Well sHEMP looks like you are going to have to do alittle more spraying next grow. You can really do much this late in flower. Might even have to harvest a week early. All I could think sight unseen was blow off the webbed areas with something. Taking plants out for hosing off afew time during flower helps but onley in the earler stages. Getting those buds wet with plain water wood probley get ya some mold or rot as far along as you are. I'll be there tomorrow. GL
I've 'HAD' mites since last summer myself. That the hardest thing about a perpetual garden. You never have a empty room to kill off the mites. I love seeing the predators bite the heads off them sob's. I found a bunch of them I didn't notice inside acouple of plants that are real close to harvest, 'my eyes are gone too without glasses'. But after sprinkling that sawdust around, it stuck to the webs between leaves. Closer look found a small explosion of mites in the center of even my God Bud. I figured she's good for them as thick as she is. And I topped her for 4 main colas so she twice as thick as my last grow of her. And she's 33% larger over all then last one. Well I sprinkled these areas heavier of course. Tonight errrrr today I'll break out my magnifier and watch some battles. Should make for a cheap source of entertainment.
One thing that helps mites is air flow. Stagnant areas become infested before you know it. Outdoors now the wind and rains keep them in check better. In fact I don't see anything wrong with washing your flowers up in week 5. Hell it rains on my buds right up till harvest. Just a good change that rot will set in.
Real fast update, that autoflower I have was peeking yesterday in the pool again.
p60.jpg

The pools about filled tonight. Water here is pretty cheap and GREAT water at that. About 25,000 gallons runs 35$. I thought it wood be a lot more.
But this auto was topped once. I know I shouldn't have done that and might cost me afew grams in yield, but she was so aggressive in growth I didn't see the harm. Auto?

you know i found a great organic spray for killing spider mites its 6$ got it at homie d's "garden safe,neem oil extract" its concentrated you use 1-2 oz to a gallon water it smells like oranges,and its also a fungicide,so it kills mites and pm at the same time and can be used right up to harvest day, and since i started washing all buds after i trim i dont worry about any residue and it works! i hit em every 4 days if i have seen any bugs (works on several bugs) or once a week as a prevenative, and i have not seen a bug in 6 months comes in a green qt size bottle,:thumb:

I have used it for thrips(verybad infestation I might add) and I've yet to see any kind of insect other than occasional gnats and skeeters.
Great product, safe to use even day of harvest...

Thanks BID and GT I kind of was lulled into a false sense of security. Everything looks great and blam there they are smiling up at ya rubbing their faces after a big meal. Spinosad that's something I might need add to my spray regiment. I generally have a spray regiment which includes neem. You should use acouple different kinds of spray to your regiment or the spider mites might become immune to your sprays. You wash your buds? You know while a plants alive water won't hurt it. The plant is hydrated with chloroform while growing so the water sheds right off. One thing we have to look at is 'safe up to the day of harvest'. That's usually meant for garden veggies and you wash them before you digest them. I'd imagine it's a whole new ball game when you smoke it. Imagine all them carsenijictics I will promise one thing, all my plants are going to get alittle better attention paid to them. Perhaps even weekly washing with something up to about the 5th week in till mites are gone. Then I'll retry them predatory mites. MITES SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok all you hydro lovers out there,,,,,,,, I have to PH the reservoir abit. Imagine abit;

Ok I do have acouple new strains coming up out there. Well not new but new specimens. And I also got the two major differences in the pheno type. I've grown this strain before and found a great mother. Well after cloning the clones clone she started to mutate. Ugly looking knot headed buds evolved from her beautiful cola's so I killed her, with great regrets I might add. So I'm looking for her once again. I just grew out one that isn't her so I planted the last 2 bean of her in hopes of finding it. Here's one with huge fat sun leaves, Vantage#1

And here's her sister from the same bag of seed. Vantage#2

Naw the waters not green, that's it's color. Kind of teal at times. I'm going to look into LED lights. Not for the growroom but as a border to accent the colors at night. I do a lot of rehab in that cement pond. My doctor has tried over and over to have me go to physical rehabilitation forever. I say to what end, to roll around on a ball or go hot tubbing at a hospital? No thanks I'll tend my gardens and take a dip afew times a day. I got to go back and see who that was that started raising fish in his pool. He went with catfish and beam I think. Good choice seeing both species can handle higher temps and less water flow than fish like trout. A lot of people are doing that
aqua-gardening thing. Using the fish tank as water and fish wastes as fertilizers. Grow your own 100% organic veggies and fresh fish to boot. Well I'll update as something comes along till then Keepem Green

Hey brother, I'm the one that turned my pool into a fish pond. Catfish and bream it is. I've gotten two nice harvest s off of just watering with that pond water. Full of fish emulsion and other great nutrients/beneficials. Next year, I'm going to set up a HUGE!! aquaponics table and run my veggies and "herbs" on it. The Royal Kush I raised with it was some of the best tasting ivs had. Provably didn't need the one plain water flush either. That plant is still alive and revegging nicely. One of the fastest revegging plants ever, about 1 week!! I've been talking with Nicholas Black(Weed Country) about aquaponics and he is going to give it a try also. I also introduced him to Corey, and Blue Planet Nutrients.

Well hope all is well brother, keepem green.
Peace and God bless,
GT

I kind of knew it was you. You should be ready to harvest some catfish about now also? I'm pretty sure Miss J wood have a heart attack if she found catfish swimming around in here, although I use to love to throw sharks in my pool when I lived in Fla.
p64.jpg

Use to catch these
3-4' lemon sharks in the canals throw them in the pool and they wood swim around for more than a week before they got sickly looking, and then I'd throw them back in the canal and they'd swim off. Man I remember being a punk stupid kids hanging my feet off the dock fishing away not paying attention to anything and a sea cow got right under my feet and proceeded to scare the living shit out of me.
Ok fast updates. I got apic pic's of the "new Babies' from Stoney Girl. These clones, some were complete branches, were in kind of unhappy shape when I got them. Looks like they might have had a mite issiue going also. But I'm happy to say they all took hold and after a couple weak washings, all mite free. First off I have a Pitt Bull clone for my outdoor garden She was a big cutting that didn't even slow down. Acouple friends grew this before and said they had up to 8 weeks to finish her. But she's one of them plants acclimated for Oregon. PittBull;
p-b.jpg

Ok another one this is Oddusius. She sounds' like another winner. All strain sound like the one. Those people that word those ads, got us poor stoners by the balls. JK not.

Here's the Crippled Rhino and a Wrex clone
wrex.jpg

I really love the sound of this one Marion Blues. Reminds me of afew of the homies stuck back in Marion, Illinois.

Here's my auto plugging along
auto8.jpg

Ok now for the Bubblious I've got for a mother. She flowers out at day 50, but I want to try a week longer with the next batch. I've got clones growing off her already. The last I didn't get any pictures of because she wasn't the prettiest plant due to my bad. A lot of her leaves got mite spotted. Well I took her at the low end of the timeframe, 50 days. But mother has lots more to give before she fihishes her life out in the fall. She's going to be a pretty good sized plant. Bubblious;

Opp's did take acouple more pictures I thought worthy of posting. Pretty Flowers is all I can say. BTW that is a skunk variant growing in the background;

Thanks everyone for looking in I hope alls gardens are happy healthy and 'mite free'. Keepem Green

Believe it or not I did alittle checking up on them generators. I almost even opted to get one. I have a friend that uses them to a good result as far as odor control. I haven't found strains that are really all that strong in the ways of odors. Myself I've been using the Ona Gel. It works great for small odor problems.
Well took the kids out for a mite treatment with azamax;
kids15.jpg

I have afew plants that are alittle to far along for spraying. I did wash them with safers soap about 1/2 strength.
I also have acouple pictures of the unknown Auto Flower I got growing;
